From Executive Producers Ed Obarowski and Ray Tesi: While trying to stop the theft of a Federation Time Ship, Temporal Agent Quinn discovers the shocking and tragic history of two different worlds.
@@avalonuniverse6327 I've been impressed by all of your episodes. That's why I was surprised and disappointed by the HUGE flaw in temporal mechanics logic.....until the ending. Beautifully done! My only criticism is that the words and lip movements didn't sync when the Ganali first started speaking. That was only for the first sentence or two. But you didn't go back and correct this with a reshoot.
@@mitros4 The momentary loss of sync was, no doubt, a consequence of the two communications system (Federation and Ganali) completing the transmission and translation protocol negotiations that would be necessary for two comm systems, alien to each other, to permit communications to take place between the two crews. Of course. That's it. ;-) Beyond that, I've not had time to review the plot sequence, which I would like to do as I did not catch how the plot resolved (surprise!) the way it did. Would you be able and willing to sort this out for me? Thank you.
Absolutely first rate!!! I really enjoyed it. It blew me away when I saw the time scout ships! I have been searching for 2 years for the shots I need for our film. I'm dying to get a teaser reel done so we can raise funds to come back to Kingsland and Neutral Zone studios and make a fan film. I need an intro with the scout timeship coming through the rift and circling the USS Yorktown (TOS era like yours). The Yorktown tries to evade as the scoutship circles, drops the shields around the hanger bay and lands inside. Next shot for later of the Wells class timeship ripping open the rift and coming through, coming nose to nose with the Yorktown. I love what ya'll did. It was a great story, great acting, and great cinematography! Aces all around!
I was very grateful to be asked to be a part of this. The friendship I have formed with Ray Tesi is incredibly important to me. He's a man working hard to keep a dream alive by creating Neutral Zone Studios. He's doing it for the entire fan film community. It's an honor to be a part of that mission!
That was pretty good. I found this in the historical archives and I am making this available to my entire crew. Captain D Robert Towne, Commander of USS Lysander, NCC-540.
There is just something about the adventure to be had in the TOS era that makes it the most enjoyable for fan films. Probably having high quality sets doesn't hurt either.
Thank you for continuing the voyages that started so long ago. Never thought I would get this experience again in 2023. Outstanding work. Congratulations to cast and crew!
Well done, everyone! Thanks for being in this project. It took time, but we managed to get this one out, pandemic delays notwithstanding! Thank you all again. ❤❤
Outstanding job all the way around. Great story, acting, and special effects. Congratulations to team Avalon and Neutral Zone Studios on another fantastic production.
well, im dubious of star trek needing more time travel, but i liked this one. would love to have seen what you couldve done with this story with an hour.
Pretty solid story. Only one real critique is for the shuttle shots it would of helped for the actors to have a practical object to rest their hands on. Hover hands, and gripping nothing at the end that didn't match up with the CG. The 60's era ships, lighting and feel was pretty spot on. Had to check and yup Scotty did theorize about trans-warp nice nugget of lore there.
Outstanding! You people keep delivering quality Star Trek episodes of stellar caliber! Keep up the phenomenal work. I think you know it is greatly appreciated.
The war was always part of the normal timeline, and the Federation refused to help as they haven't made first contact yet. So, time was changed and the Federation made an early contact and hence was able to provide protection.
Not only that, but thanks to the early contact and intervention to prevent the war, Jilan doesn't need to steal a time ship and is instead recruited to become an agent.
Ah ha the Legend that is Mr Vic Minogna has put his magic in this i thought it did it had that feel ....and his set i guess!!!.....Well done to all brilliant!!
Excellent work by all involved, acting was good, direction and editing excellent, costuming ON POINT! Visual effects ON POINT. But most of all, the story. . . . .pure classic TOS use of allegory. This is what Star Trek is all about. Keep up the great work!!
Agreed. He is one of the most convincing actors in a captain role, even including the various professional series. It may help that Vic was the director. He is really the best director in the ST universe for the consistency of form and format, amateur or professional. Who wrote this script. I missed that credit. One of the best stories I've seen in the ST context.
WHAT A SUPERB ACTING, DIRECTING, PRODUCTION THIS EPISODE WAS . EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS EPISODE WAS EXCEPTIONAL LOVED THE CHARACTERS, SETS, DIALOGUE IT WAS FLAWLESS REMINDS ME OF THOSE ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL AND FABULOUS STAR TREK CONTINUES EPISODES. OH I FORGOT THE MUSIC FIT PERFECTLY INTO THE STORY!!GARY BAILEY KING OF DARKNESS
Ohh my god I just got addicted to you guys the last few months, your storytelling is amazing! and I like your creative chances you take, they really work well
now this has nothing to do with the video itself I don't know what made me just think of this but when she was chasing the ship.suppose you were half of light-year from the ship that you were after if both vessels are traveling at warp 9.9 How can any ship in the Star Trek universe catch the other ship it would keep the same distance indefinitely or at least to me that's the logical conclusion ?🤔
Greetings from sector 001, @avalonuniverse6327, I trust that you are all well. Many thanks for your lovingly crafted AND CORRECT (as per the Roddenberry Timeline)visual log. I would like to inquire about any other forays into the "Mirror Universe"-post NCC-1701 period.❤
What a delightful surprise! This story was all-around a solid production. Your writer/s is/are superb because the diction used is PERFECT for covering up some of the less-experienced actors (which is a talent unto itself!). I wish your budget and time constraints allowed for a bit of an arc for the villains in the story. That aspect of why that population went agro and how their agro-ness (LMAO) turned the defeated world into a training ground for freedom fighters...or summat. But, you can't create the world in 18 1/2 minutes! When thinking of any constructive advice....hmmm, I'd suggest you make some "real" tabletop instrumentation that can be shifted around like puzzle pieces--so that you can have several different-looking sets with instruments on them....nobs, gizmos, whatnots, doodads, and gyropods, etc. Oh! And those antique-ish Christmas light-looking buttons!!!! Would be worth EVERY PENNY you invested on them!! Regardless, this show was a PLEASURE to watch and I'd have no qualms about watching it again. Keep producing and uploading and interacting with your fans, of whom you've just gained another.
Good concept, nice effects, great sets (thanks Star Trek Continues), acting was okay. But the end was rushed; it took a bit to figure out that the solution was the future Starfleet stopping the "bad guys" from conquering the other planet. It felt rushed through. Not perfect, but good in several areas.
A very pretty picture of what happens when someone starts messing with timelines... I admit expecting a different solution to Commander Quinn's dilemma and so the solution presented surprised me. Well done!
So instead of going back into the past and preventing the Star Fleet idiots from releasing the plague in the first place, the time traveler gets Star Fleet of, what, 300 years forward? Engage in a threat display to make the plague victim survivors side just turn around and go home? The episode had promise, but then just fell apart at the end.
I'm confused by this episode, it makes no sense. J'laan kills himself, Quinn then goes to a starbase(inthe past I assume), then she is shown in the future standing on the bridge of a ship when the attack on the planet is stopped. Finally she is shown on her ship w/J'laan alive. HUH?
Another well acted, well written & scripted, work of excellence & morals. Avalon Universe has again outdone & outperformed above & beyond!! Thank you all for a beautifully done episode!! More please
