I've sat in the drivers seat of one of these when I was a kid. I'll never forget how nice the interior was and how nice it looked.

This is the most iconic sportscar ever. An arcade game serie devoted to it "outrun" and computer games. An icon of the 1980's. Was printed in color posters that was the big thing to order over mail in the 1980's. Appeared in movies. It was like a the god of cars. Classic perfection.

Seeing this car as a classic makes me feel an old fucker

Otis Chandler got his Dark Green Testarossa delivery off the boat in 1990, drove it straight up to Ventura to the shop I was working. (We were doing restoration work on some of his collection) The car was lower and smaller than I imagined; with only 70 miles on it it was still ticking and burning the new smell off the engine & exhaust. Forest green metallic, unusual but beautiful.

I love the Testarossa, mostly due to the fact that my first (memorable) hot wheels was a Testarossa. I'd love either the Countach or Testarossa though. The Countach has more road presence and is more legendary in my opinion.

I was so lucky that I was allowed to drive a Testarossa one day ... It was very impressive. It was a hobbyist vehicle with a Maserati engine, but visually in perfect condition. Of course, red.

There's so much pop culture packed into this car... that's why I generally prefer classics.

All of the above are exactly why I have wanted one since the day I saw a red Hot Wheels version at a K-Mart when I was four years old. I begged my mom to let me get it, and she finally let me. I was ecstatic. It still sits on my desk to this day. Maybe one day I'll be lucky enough to own a real one.

The testarossa and countach are special in there own ways. I love the testarossa for its simple no nonsense performance and simple yet stunning looks, the countach however i like the flared arches and huge spoilers and ridiculous impracticality of it all. I wouldn’t buy a countach expecting ownership to be easy but it’s just special in its own unapologetic way ;) Don’t see why you couldn’t have both

l just noticed that all flat engines have particular sound to them ,very kool . And everyone from them loves the look of a lambo but no one would want to live with one ,this car is way more reliable ,easy to drive too ,good choice :)

Dude, it deserves respect because of its presence in popular culture, between Miami Vice and OutRun. Forget the Countach, this is the quintessential '80s supercar.

Simply on of my favorites Ferraris... amazing lines... the sound... the proportions. But, who loves Ferrari, its hard to have a favorite one. Awesome Testarossa!!!

As a kid I thought this was the coolest looking car ever made but as I got older I started seeing it as kind of awkwardly designed. The rear is stubby with the bumper looking tacked on, the nose extends outward too far especially for a mid-engine car (crumple zone solution?), the front air-dam interrupts the lines of the car by setting the nose higher than the rest of the body giving the car an odd profile, etc, etc. They were on the right track with the 512TR which vastly improved the car aesthetically, this included rounding out the nose so that its lines flowed with the rest of the body. But the 348 (baby Testarossa) really took the Testarossa concept and perfected it, taking the best design elements from the TR and sculpting them into a perfectly proportioned, compact body.

Would choose this than any other modern car.
