Pure wisdom out of Atticus, '...when you are a parent, you want to take on your child's pain; you don't want your child to go through the pain - you would rather go through it." Wow, he's not a parent, but FULLY understands that fundamental truth about being a good parent." Not too many people who are not parents understand the trials and tribulations of being a parent, but he understands it at such a deeper level. Very intelligent, well spoken - his faith is not only strong, it is genuine.
Atticus, my husband and I are huge fans of "the Middle," and we are both followers of Jesus. We just watched this video and are thrilled that you are saved/follower of Jesus too. Faith gives Hope, Hope is what keep the Life to Live. It doesn't matter what gives the hope be it jesus or allah or krishna or self. I wish evangelists understand and stop killing other cultures.
When all is said and this earth has passed away, and judgment has been dealt you will see Atticus was far wiser then you were. I really hope you look into what he's talking about because one day you'll wish you had.
@@Daniel-jy9so As someone who has spent 18 years living in the world's largest islamic country, has several muslim friends, and have even attended some muslim holidays I'm going to say I can speak with some authority on this topic. No, Islam is not the 'religion'. Your holy book contradicts itself. the Bible doesn't. Your holy book was written by Muhammad's followers after he was dead, and he was merely a man who had nothing but his say so that his authority was legit. There is no evidence Muhammad is divine at all, and much evidence of his failures (raping girls and pillaging). Jesus however performed miracles, was sinless and raised from the dead, all of which can be proven by written testimony of people alive at the time who had nothing to gain, but everything to lose by telling the truth. The men who wrote the Quran after Muhammad died had much to gain. Finally I'm going to say I have known many Muslims who have left Islam for christianity claiming it isn't the truth, because it isn't. I care deeply for my Muslim friends, but ultimately I love them enough to let them know they are wrong, and if they don't stop following the words of man (Muhammad and his followers) and start following the life changing and life giving Word of God, they will go to hell. I have studied Islam and read the Quran Zypher 23, my question is have you really looked at the Bible? Or are you denouncing it without giving it a chance. That is foolishness.

@@Daniel-jy9so you didn't really give any good arguments to prove Islam is true, other then saying it's true, and trying to cast a flaw in Christianity, which was unsuccessful and I can tell you why. Most real christians who understand scripture will tell you up until the point of Christ's arrival, Judaism was correct religion. However it was unfulfilled and awaiting a messiah which was Jesus Christ. Christianity is following Christ. Jesus never said he was a christian, He showed us how to be Christians, and fulfilled Judaism. That is why the Bible still has the Torah in it. We know Christ was the divine fulfillment of Judaism. He wasn't a Jew then a christian. Learn your stuff. If you can come up with a legit argument, try it, but you can't just say I'm right you're wrong, you'll see. Please do some real study.
