Very relevant topic Dr. Brown. I used to live in Portland and I always tried to witness to gays and I always watered down the word. Never a good idea. The Word is a living sword so I should have presented it and allowed it to work.

When a sinner confesses with his or her mouth the Lord Jesus Christ died for their sins and accepts Him as their savior, you do not have the authority to play the Holy Ghost and judge their sin. It is under the blood. Healing and deliverance still have to occur! Most have never open the Bible. But when the church doesn't function in the Spirit they want to handle everything in the flesh, and attempt to recrucify the individual. The presense of God breaks every yoke. The religious spirit does not want any move of God, because they like the control they have over the people. These churches are functioning on psychology instead of with the Holy Spirit.

(Psalms 9:18 LXX) 8 But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.” (Revelations 21:8) 7 as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them in a similar manner to these, having given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. sin is sin God will forgive but we must be sorry for the sin.

You guys have no idea what it is like to realise you are homosexual as you grow up, and also to be a Christian. I was an evangelical in the 1980s and struggled with my sexuality. The damage done by church teaching was horrible. I even had someone in my fellowship who thought that there should still be the death penalty for gays ( he obviously didn't know of my struggles!) It has taken me years to get over the emotional damage. Im no longer Christian, but at least the Christians who are gay are trying to find a way forward. Why not just leave the gay people to enjoy their relationship with God? No one is saying that you have to join them.

There's no such thing as a "gay" christian. If you reject that homosexuality is sin, then you reject the Word of God. And if you reject the Word of God, then you can't possibly be a Christian.
