Cutting to the chase: there are 3 ways to be your best on camera.
Having said that, being at your best on camera is not a question of doing this or that. It’s a matter of getting closer to who you are. Then this or that might help slightly.
But we are told that we just need to be bigger, faster, smarter, more strategic. Then we’re to throw that guy or girl up on the screen, thinking he or she will know what to do for sure.
But he or she isn’t you, so what can he or she even do? Jump up and down and act like an idiot?
Or even worse, let indecision and doubt tamp down your energy in a medium that filters out half of it in the first place?
It’s more effective to suss out your best self in the first place. And there are only three things to keep in mind to make sure that happens.
This will keep you calm and sane with the right energy on camera. Best of all, it’s how you’ll get better with each video you make.

Firstly, thanks to you I have nailed my green screen setup :) Secondly I wholeheartedly agree that making authentic videos is a business tool that all professionals should utilize. I have found that most people I suggest this to are absolutely crippled by fear of listening to their own voice let alone seeing themselves on camera. I just tell myself "this is what I really look and sound like" and that's it. I love my topics and I want to share and this is what drives me, I want to make videos that would help someone like myself and I hope my passion shows through. Keep it up dude!
