I'd love to see an art side of the pipeline. Something I've been thinking about for example is how you're putting environments together. It makes sense to me when adding Props but how are the actual environments created and textured. For example the actual architecture of a kitchen such as walls/benches/floor would be different to adding a table and chair. It makes sense to me how you would separate modeling a chair and adding it but not exactly sure about the room itself. Not sure if that ramble made a lot of sense but I guess it doesn't make sense in my head either 😂
I'd love for a tutorial about how to install kitsu on windows. I gave up because there wasn't a clean install process. Everything required new dependencies and so I'd install those and they had new things I had to install which in turn required new things. It was filling my hard drive up with all this junk and I was never able to get it working. It's hard to ask for help because so many online are rude and assume you are an idiot if you don't understand something or don't have the same knowledge about the same subjects as they do.
@@zetrocadartse646 I think that's one option I tried which kept making me install more and more things to get working. I wish it just had a normal self-contained install file for us solo artists who don't want to need a tech degree just to make art.
@@cliffhansen7789 on the usage of docker there is a document that is needed which is called a docker compose, which speaks to docker on which apps should be installed and run on their containers and how they should be connected. for that document i used one i found on the discord (i investigated and found out it is an image done by someone called emberlightvfx, this name can be used to find the image and docker file) and got it working without editting it just by running a command. I also know not much about this specific program, im an animator, nearest stuff that i did before that was running a minecraft server lol. There is a surely curve of learning for doing it
there are several tutorials out there on how to get it up and running on docker and docker compose. it would be a good idea to think about you general pipeline-setup especially on mich machines what part of the pipeline is happening. i would always split client and server and never run it on one machine. even the resolve database belongs on a server ()can also be docker)

Thanks for the demo/rundown. Seems like a great workflow for Tiki. I'm curious about the cost of running all this. Seafile is open source but Kitsu and Prism are not. Will it cost a production around $40 per person per month for the pipeline?
Kitsu you can get for free. Same for seafile. For Prism you can also get a free version but you will need to pay if you want to be able to talk to Kitsu. Cost nothing for Tiki. Sponsored :-)
