@ClownDono there's a show called "My Little Weirdness." It's stuffed with craziness. Once, there was a dude who was traning by punching concrete, and in another episode, there was a dude who weared the same T-shirt for a long time. And don't even get me started on all of those shows about Mediums.

At this point, with how the characters are designed, it would really feel weird to have a guest that's just like "yeah sup" and it's just Ryu and he does fireball throwing Karate He must at least have 5 belts to be a playable character
so I know russian and they indeed are distraction for men contestants. and one funny thing is that when she looked up under one guy's pants he was not wearing anything down there, since its hot in the kitchen and it's more comfortable for him without underwear
I speak russian and heard about that show but never in my life I imagined out of all characters her appreaing in it(there was like 4 dudes in Russia playing GG series back then😂). Also, when she tried to take off first dudes pants, he wasn't wearing underwear so she panicked left that poor guys pants alone and tried to do the same thing with the second guy who turns out wasn't wearing it too😂.
It feels so random that a cosplayer just appeared in Hell's kitchen and I don't think a single one there even knew who she was cosplaying as or that she was cosplaying to begin with.
I expected as much but that just makes me question why she was here even more. I don't think the Hell's kitchen fans, Guilty gear fans, and even the dead or alive fans overlap enough for this to make any sense.
I like to imagine that baiken while she cooks is holding Delilah in her one functioning arm and somehow still cooks with the inspector gadget esc things she can pull out of her sleeve
I feel that the reason this happened is that they needed a "distraction" for the chefs so they found some sexy cosplayers online asked them to be on the show and that's it. I don't think there is any specific reason for it to be baiken Also I have the sudden urge to join Russian Hell's Kitchen now
I sometimes wish i could just open my tv and see somebody in laios and senshi cosplayers in some kind of "good morning" where they are preparing very hard dish with poisonous fish ((But overall all of thoes coplay girls in that Hell's kitchen epoisode had fantasitc personality 100/10,))

I feel like the cosplays should have been switched around. The chick cosplaying as Kasumi should have been Baiken and vice versa because booba differences.
Funny is that I know them lol. The slayer dude on thumbnails is a really cool guy. The gal is ok, at that time she was trying to be a pro cosplayer: now I guess she is indeed. Many great cosplayers in Russia btw. FGs are huge there Source: I lived there for 4 years.

no one asked but I feel like the exploration is all over the place for this. Half is showing the episode and trying to talk about logistics but then most is just off the cuff riffs and then cutting in on yourself to correct something that could've just been part of the script to begin with. I don't dont wanna beat a brother down, Kimi no Kioku on the end shows youve got taste, but I think theres refinement to be had. Also not sure what editing software you use but I've had lots of success with Resolve.

When I found out about this information, I was even surprised, because the so-called peak of Baiken happened in Xrd, and here we have a design from ACPR, in Russia Guilty Gear is very unpopular, as is the fighting genre in general, Therefore, you don't have to think that this happened before the strive, the game was not a big hype in the country, they took the baiken simply because the cosplayer met the criteria and they needed people for filming. This is not being popularized in any way and for most people it is much easier and more interesting to play some kind Dota than to study a damn anime 2D fighting game.
i dont think there is much mistery here tbh, they just got 2 sexy cosplayers, told them "wear something sexy and distract the male contestants" and the girl got dressed up as baiken to show cleaveage, 2 babes in kunoichi/samurai cosplays is a killer combo in somewhere like russia i guess lol

As much as there are theories as to why it was Baiken, it could be she just... chose Baiken. She also picked Kasumi who while being kind of well known, wasnt exactly peoples first pick unless theres a big event around the time. Plus if the goal was to be a distraction, Baiken's outfit is perfect for it. Same with Kasumi's. Only other person I could think of who would be a great distraction is Ivy, Mai Shiranui, and an MK character but the two she chose were the best pick for herself and her role. Also weird as this one sounds, she sort of matches Baiken's original cupsize before Strive and Xrd. Like from her first appearance in GG. Its not relevant I just thought it was neat.
A restaurant is involved and they don't use a Jam cosplayer wtf? Especially since Jam canonically loves pretty men and would absolutely sexually harass her male staff Kasumi with a costume like her original but black, reminds me of Momiji's Ninja Gaiden costume, a mix of Kasumi and Momiji is interesting
Your editing confuses me Like I'm not trying to insult you or call it bad I'm just confused Like why have the section where you give the SamSho theory, then after the fact edit in "this isn't actually correct" When you could just cut the original clip of you giving your theory? Or if you wanted to include that you had the theory, despite it not holding up, and if you're willing to put in more work, rerecord your voice and script it to flow better Something like "I thought it might have something to do with Baiken being added to SamSho at the time, but that happened later"
