Come back in 10 years, when the dolphin move has been nerfed. donkey store dunkeyscastle.com/ donkey twitter / vgdunkey donkey twitch / dunkstream donkey wife / leahbee
Dunkey trolling until he almost dies then beats his opponent with solid fundamentals and nutbag mix ups is a new style of comedy, it's very strand like in that sense
The dolphin is one of the most intelligent species on the planet. Not only is it capable of easily defeating some of the greatest warriors in the world, but it also can play GameCube games.
I stopped playing the game after watching dunki do that and I didn't even played the game to begin with, if someone can do that that means it could happen to me, and there's not a chance in hell im letting someone beat em with a dolphin.
My favorite Dunkey trope is when he plays a fighting game and the other player pulls off some massive, cinematic combo, then gets one-punched by Dunkey.
Yeah, that's really been missing in a lot of games lately. I still can't believe the new Doom games don't have it, after all, they were pioneers of the mechanic back in the 90s.
To be fair, doing 10 jump-ins and not getting punished over and over again just means that Gio is playing the exact same as him - both are running braindead flowcharts and don't really have much defense at all. Notice how as soon as Giovanna lost pressure, she just couldn't play the game? Exact same thing happened to Dunkey.
I'm here to spread anti-joy. There's no way he made it to 10 with that strat realistically. He's prolly playing more optimally behind the scenes and just recording his silly, fucko mode matches for the video.
Countless hours of practice, studying my losses to improve, countless research on how to effectively use my character....and Dunkey gets to Celestial floor before I could with Dolphin spam. Genius.
The hardest truth I've had to learn is that dunkey is probably better than fighting games than me, and that he uses the power of edit magic to get rid of the losses
If anyone was wondering, the outro music to this video is: "Love the Subhuman Self (Millia Rage's Theme)," from the Guilty Gear Strive soundtrack. It took me a hot-minute to find it, but it /slaps/.
Has 1hp: ''I got plenty of health, I can turn this around.'' *Actually turns this around* ...I need to buy some gamer juice from wherever Donkey is buying it
best part of rewatching this video is still Dunkey's declarative moment of self-awareness after he was emoting in middle of a fight and just says. ":O I'm a fucker! hehehe"
I'm the Potemkin at the end of the video and I can't fucking believe that May I fought was Dunkey. GGs Dunk, that was the single most annoying match I had in the game so far but it was worth it, I'm happy you're enjoying Guilty Gear so much!
@@Darlos9D Dunkey kept taunting a bunch of times throughout the match so I wanted to get at least one in there, not the smartest move but I don't regret it after seeing it make it into the video. First Buster RC Heavenly I've ever landed online too XD
Did he dolphin spam ya? And if he did, why not just use the hold back then forward B move? I forget the name, but it gives 1 hit of armor and should beat that dash.
3:04 and here we see donkey literally murder someone. Not just their player character, not even just their physical form, but he eradicated their very soul
before may: "the game is wonderfully balanced, and you can pretty much pick any character and win if you're good enough." after may: "the game fucking sucks"
Dunkey's the kinda player that learns how to play the game just so he can play it wrong on purpose while still out thinking his opponent's tactics. This shows in his Melee Falco
@@kyleway8513 I'm not sure about his other games but his success in Tekken comes down mostly to the other players not "labbing" Kuma because not many people play it, Kuma has that one stance that crushes high and some mid moves like Eddy and Xiao Ling which makes them a bit of a favorite for spammers because you WILL lose if you don't know the a few specific punish to those moves. Now, I'm not saying Dunkey didn't learn the game, he definitely did but he is one of many players who also does it, which is learn the basics and find the cheesiest move you can and spam it. If you play fighting games, you'll find that players like that is REALLY frustrating to deal with BUT they can help you get better and learn more about the game.
I was in a business meeting the other day talking about cost projections and revenue streams. Then I just hit them with a dolphin. Easiest promotion I've ever landed.
I'm glad to see that totsugeki, the greatest move in gaming history, is featured in the first ten seconds. And against the unga bunga king himself, too
Sol isn't that bad, especially for Guilty Gear OP character standards. He's definitely the best character in the game and worthy of nerfs but he isn't a free win character either
I watched this video and then proceeded to have the best winning streak in all of my time playing GGST and playing May. Thank you Dunkey, You have truly showed me the ways
Fighting someone and getting hit by dolphins, a beach ball, and an anchor without stop can only be compared to forcing someone to use Discord light mode
@@Mruck_Trop yeah in his first stream he practiced for like 90 minutes with Faust, hopped online and got his ass kicked for an hour, switched to May after never touching her and not knowing what to do and immediately started winning so much he had to go back to Faust because it wasn't fun anymore
God the animation in this game is amazing. I don't know how they managed to make 3d models look like hand animated 2d characters but it is really underrated how polished this art is
Just looks like a dragonball fighterz clone honestly. The same 3d-as-2d fighting game. Yeah it looks cool and fun and the animations are good. But in the end its still just a clone
