Had to be able to play all genres of music when they were in neighborhood bands. Funk was their thing at the time, but they grew up listening to all kinds of music. I think the change of pace was probably fun for them.😎💜🤘🏾

Prince had attitude, not shaking Morris hand, back when Morris could call prince "punk". But he couldn't hide his delight when the music started, knowing YEAH, I wrote that. Catche hooks, he knew at 24 years old, BOSS!

OK OK OK. Thought I was the biggest Time fan ever. I guess not. I never heard or seen this before and had no I idea Prince would ever share stage with the TIME. (I thought he only kept them off the stage.)

Prince was feeling insecure about The Time's set so he came out and forced them to do this rockabilly like song knowing it wouldn't go over well and would fuck up the vibe.

I understand your sentiment but nah..This song was recorded and intended for The Time's second album but it was replaced by Onedayimgonnabesomebody..They played it here as the last song because it was just like Prince's song "Jack U Off" and P used to close with it on the Controversy tour..
