I was kindly sent this pedal by Ryan “The Tone Geek” as a thank you for my involvement with the original demo video.
There are so many tones available due to the combinations of switches, that I couldn’t cover them all in this video, but hopefully this will give you an idea of what the TS10 is capable of.
This is my first video demo so I’m still working out the kinks, but I hope that it’s helpful!
Gear used:
Fender Custom Shop 1961 Stratocaster
Suhr Bella Reverb
PRS JMOD cabinet

Awesome demo man! It's such a great pedal. Do you maybe have a link to the backing track?

Hey man, it’s an amazing pedal!! I recorded the guitar parts over a keys backing track I found on here a few weeks back, but I can’t remember which one if I’m honest!

Great demo - Do you recommend the JMOD Cab? My freind has a new one he’ll sell me for $500 usd. I currently have a Dumble ODS Clone w/1x12 G12-65 open back (home studio only). Couple knocks I’ve read on JMOD is size and closed back makes it really loud... not sure - trying to decide if it’s worth getting. Why ru using the JMOD cab vs the Suhr ? Thanks for any advice you can give Jake 👍

Ahhh thanks a lot!! I absolutely recommend the JMOD cab, as I personally find that it’s the most full sounding 2x12 I’ve used - tonnes of low end. That’s also a very good price! The JMOD cab won’t be significantly louder (if at all) than your current cab, as it uses the same speaker, and speaker efficiency rating is the biggest influence on a cabinets volume in my experience. I’m using the JMOD cab rather than the Suhr for a couple of reasons - I was aiming for Mayer type tones in this video, and my Suhr has an EVM12L in it, which is more SRV/Sayce than Mayer. The single EV is also rated at 200w , whereas the Celestion are 65w each so the EV is very loud! Hope that helps? Thanks for the comment 👊🏻

Everyone can build a VS10 for themselves, check out tonegeek for the infos. I've built the smd version and the thru-hole. Both got that sound

To be honest, the only thing I’ve owned that’s better than this one is the Vemuram TSV808!

@@JakeLoosemore damn I really wish I got one when they weren’t retardedly expensive . I refuse to pay over1k for a pedal! 😅😅😅 I’ll just get a l TS808HW or handwired ts10. I’ve never owned a TS what’s your favorite klon or overdrive over all?
