Crafting is still an essential part of trading. But my favorite forgotten tool of TF2 is Competitive mode. It's just so funny that Valve thought they could make it work.
@@Debonsia to get around to doing contracts on actually fun maps you need to get through this hell. It's stupid. Also what hurts even more is Turbine is also one of the maps.
@@fujiwaranonekobiodrando1257 I've only gotten success at progressing the contract for solo queing Hightower and then quitting and leaving until I find a match that people are trying the objective and it's about to end, increasing it at 5 point increments at a time
Because Valve never plays their own game. I'm still pissed at the Bison "fix" because someone at Valve thought its penetration attribute was... A BUG???
It kinda is. It makes it harder to get the initial pick. All of spies non-stock knives are pubstompers not actual competitive options. Quality of pick > theoretical quantity of picks
ive been saying for years that the contracker should have daily/weekly contracts, with blood money rewards that you could use to buy cases, cosmetics and weapons. it just seems like such an easy thing to do considering they already did it in gun mettle and tough break. I could probably think of hundreds if not thousands of contracts that would actually give people a reason to play different classes and use different weapons than the same handful they've been using forever.
I mean with the exception of the YER which has a really specific niche, the Big Earner is the weakest knife to use. Any situation it excels in and at, the Kunai does as well but with even more benefit. The Big Earner isn't as bad as something like the Brass Beast or Backscatter but it's easily one of spy's worse knives.
Honestly, these ideas for improving the contracts are really sound. I certainly would like to see some or all of these changes implemented into the game to revamp the contracts system.
In my opinion they should introduce summer and christmass contract. Which the reward will be free cosmetic or war paint if valve want to make cosmetic or war paint on their own or ask the creator of the cosmetic or war paint if they want their stuff added has reward for free if it's doesn't derange them and that would be very fun to do these contract for free cosmetic or war paint cause only having free cosmetic by doing the halloween contract or ONLY 1 war paint per year is annoying in my opinion
It was crazy to see the contracker when it dropped, funny how valve made an entirely new and high effort feature and then never touched it (or the rest of the game) again.
I've been playing this game on and off since 2013 and I've never touched the contracts. The only time I interact with it is when I accidentally open it when I meant to use a voice command.
As neat as this idea is, I think what I would love the most is a Spring Cleaning update where they just clean up the code in order to make working on the game less frustrating. (Years of piling-up Source Spaghetti is heck to work through.)
"How a battle pass can be so profable" On paper sadly it quickly flopped once most have gotten to the point of never being worth it the only exeption is drg as once its battle pass ends all its *COSMETICS* gets added to the random pool for other players to find on missions
>the tool team fortress forgot The update button. They forgot that they had the tool to launch updates. Man, I miss the golden years. At least community servers are pretty fun still to this day. Big fan of 64/100 player servers, that's like the best update thats come out ever since Jungle Inferno.
Sondsmit say big earn good. Backscatter is bad though, its inferior to stock in every way possible and the mini crits from the back barely matter because of its higher spread making it just deal less damage than stock
The three weapons you called bad aren't really bad, except possibly the brass beast, the backscatter is just a boring weapon, the big earner is a less extreme kunai with more spawn health to spare.
Backscatter fundamentally fails at being a flanking weapon since the penalties on it make it worse when you get the jump on someone compared to stock. Big Earner is very easily the weakest knife, the YER is there too but it actually has a solid niche and use, you even admit that the Big Earner is just a Kunai lite, less of a downside but none of the upside
@blair3549 If you do not understand, a spy main called johntohil2 can fill you in he has a video on that. Spy has a gun! (I am obligated to say that spy has a gun every time I referenced johntohil2)
@@privatetrolldier5640 That's the equivalent of saying Medic's weakest weapon is the Medigun because it doesn't deal damage. It's a utility, and worse of all it ain't even true, Spy's sappers especially the Red Tape Recorder is the weakest part of his kit
