i did a trick and i posted it in my channel its a trick where it help thro ot when an enemy is camping goal it will get them by surprise bc i dont think anyone used it i have it in my channel if ur cool with it can u check it out bc am not sure what to call it but its kind of useful when someone is just at goal defending

For the last one, for beginners or intermediate players, you can put on the 180 flip in your setting, it's called single press air turn in accessibility so when you tap the top right of your screen (if on touch, in controller, you press LB once) you can do a 180 flip, like a halfway flip instead of constantly flipping like the joystick air roll does, it takes a lot of time and practice to master and get really good at it and do it faster but it's a really good way to get unlimited flips and get your boost back
You can do the same idea but easier with a gold shot up into the air by first popping it up a bit and then quickly gold shotting it up to increase height rather than the insanely complicated purple flick.
@@ManuMitraan now you can do it, and faster bcuz you can flip 180 degrees with a single tap in a blank space. You have to enable it in settings. Probably faster than air rolling.
@Antonio Campen if you hold your finger on the screen, you will keep air rolling and you can direct where you are going by moving your finger any direction
Important tip: To get your boost/flip to reset you don't have to touch your wheels on the ball, just the center of your hitbox. That's very important for cars like the Scarab, where the point you have to use is just behind the front-wheels not right in the middle of the model.
Just a correction of the flip resets. You don't have to be air rolling, just upsidedown so if you use the tap to air roll once on touch you can just do that. Also, you can get the reset from further away while right side up. Correct me if I'm wrong
GUYS I FOUND A HACK! For the purple flick, all you have to do is turn on single press air turns and bam! The intructions: dribble on the ground, jump, tap, jump! Its insane and so much easier to learn
i learned how to do the ceiling stall/shuffle/dash by myself. i was experimenting after playing for about a day and i wondered what would happen if you jump/ flip repeatedly on the ceiling. i did it and i thought i made a new mechanic lol

@@raghvendrasinghsengar8360 it’s not a standard gold shot, the horse kick is performed way differently then a gold shot. Have u tried it? Or even watched the tutorial on how to do it. It’s like some weird backward wave dash hit which also turns into a gold shot. But sometimes a horse kick isn’t a gold shot. It depends what position your car is in
You can airroll by going into the settings and control customization and adding airroll as a button, and on controller, LT (flip car) can be done by going into settings, "Accessibility" and enabling "Single Press Air Turns" which will make you flip your car if you press on an empty space on the screen. Accessibility settings have some cool things in there btw you should check it out
I'm sure many other mobile players have this question but how do you flip reset while spinning to stall on mobile you can't spin and jump passively at the same time
air roll creates softer touches on the ball which can help with control but not with power. It's also very useful when trying to get flip resets like I've shown in this video. Try out air dribbling in freeplay with both air roll and no air roll to see the touch difference
@@sidestriped804 exactly. Mogz made a video showing that air roll does nothing for aerials and air dribbles but I think that is false. He even made evidence on why it doesent give you softer touches but I just don’t think his evidence is true. And you are a higher rank then him so I would rather listen to you then mogz
The air roll stall is almost impossible on finger due to the fact that the dpad will pick up the smallest movement making it so that u jump towards that direction obviously striped doesn’t k ow this due to the fact that he’s using controller
Hey, I’m currently champ on sideswipe and I play touch. I can stall just fine, it’s just a little bit harder to learn. I know a gc named gnip who plays touch and can stall. Give it some time and you will get it down

If the ball is between me and my goal and the opponents are too, I find myself doing this a lot: I backflip over the ball and ground pinch it into my opponents for some air. They are usually using too much boost and getting offensive because I look stupid. So I launch it off my opponents with ground pinch then make a goal (if my teammate doesn't get too excited and stays on deef). I'm a gold III so it works far more often than not. I started out playing RL with a propensity for weird stuff so my unpredictable nature makes way for me to have more saves and get more goals than usual. I started a couple of weeks ago and I'm ranking up fast. I want to use Sideswipe to get better at the real thing, and I realize Sideswipe is as real as the 3D! Very fun, very challenging.
I have been doing manual flicks when I am in the air with no boost or jumps and the ball is there, I usually hit it with a musty and then face my car up. I do that so that if a defender blocks it, it will bounce off of my car AND give me a flip reset. It also keeps your car in the air longer. I will also mustyand them double tap.
I made a flick idk if anyone made it yet, basically with the ball on your car in the ground jump and spin your car 360 at the same time towards their goal

dont think ground pinch should be there because it is really like really easy to read. this is because u see ur opponent heading downwards onto the ball allowing the opponent to know ur next move and just chip the ball over u i personally think the horseflick could of been better/useful
Jesus christ, please never use the gold shot unless you are defending. Its incredibly easy to punish, and is the most useless thing u could possible think of if you are challenging.
okay, a year later and almost none of these are as important as simply stall chaining. not downing the video but learn to stall chain and youll get out of whatever rank your in

We use touch control on mobile and he use controller how that will be useful bruh we will can't do what move you do so that annoying on teaching videos never use controller
i swear i've done the last surprise mechanic more than i scored in sideswipe i thought no one was gonna know it and then when i saw ur vid i wasn't mad i was very happy bc u showed the world a good mechanic and also makes u look clean ;)
if you go into air roll mid way into the kickoff and flip backwards 0.1 second before hitting it, it will always send the ball up on your enemies side. (works for me in diamond 2)
