The first clip is what makes a pro different from scrubs like us, and I wish people understood that. Insaneia messes up, picks them a hero that destroys their draft, single handedly taking his team from favourites to win to a long shot. And who do the other 4 people react to this colossal mistake? "It's cool. Don't worry about it. We can make this work" Forget flame, the only thing anyone was concerned about is making sure that he's not beating himself up over the mistake because they all know that would effect his play. With enough time and effort, almost anyone can learn the raw skills to go pro, but it's the 1 in a million person who has an attitude like that who makes it. That team is still together, and after 3 years I think they are the team in DOTA that has gone the longer without any roster changes.
Fun fact in borderlands 4 there is literally a fire grenade that blows up in your hand and sets you on fire and its a direct reference to summit 1g. Pretty hilarious actually
Woah woah woah you really didn’t explain siki’s own goal well enough it was a 9 minute overtime that’s almost two more games in rocket league then it all ended in an own goal
@@DeletedTaters001 not really. It just implies, that you didnt click what you wanted to. This can also imply not having intution for your mouse movement.
Lucian’s abilities including his ultimate The Culling, procs his double shot passive so I think thats why he used it. Unfortunately you cant cancel The Culling for .5 seconds, so it was wasted time.
@@michelpath98 I mean it doesn't really matter, because the Lock-In button is basically accepting your own death, while the Accept Match button is preparations for knowing you will die soon.
Summit's clip has nothing to do with a misclick He is running to get the defuse and is on purpose pressing W. He is just not paying attention to the screen and runs into his molotov, which is also an incredible misplay. But has nothing to do with a misclick
@@jaydenijtsma1134 yeah but this isnt a misplay video its a misclick video meaning the misplay is that they "misclicked" (hit the wrong button) but here Summit is happy he won and looked away while walking towards the bomb and died to the molly. It's more of a mislook if you will.
The fact that people still think that Lucian R was a misclick astounds me. It wasn't a misclick, he thought he could quickly cancel it to get a sheen proc which would have given him the bonus damage to kill the nexus in less autos. What happened is the culling has a certain amount of time before you can cancel it which he didn't realize. This was literally known not long after it happened
sheen and passive proc even right? he did however not auto after the e and instead e, q, auto'd wasting a passive im pretty sure, ult or not he wasnt getting it but perhaps with e, auto, q, auto if thats how lucian wokred back then still
Yup, this is to prevent accidentally cancelling from spamming a key. Turtle tried to cancel asap, but when he finally was able to, he was dead the next moment.
To give you context for the Dota clips: For the 1st clip, the captain/drafter was to supposedly ban that hero. Not aware of the time allotted for banning was running out, he picked it instead, which completely ruins their lineup and strategy. For the 2nd one, they were killing Roshan, an objective which will give them a special item, the Aegis. Having that item is crucial, especially during late games or for seigeing the high ground, basically, it's a great factor when closing out games in Dota. It lets the user who has it, resurrects, having another chance with a full hp and mana. In the clip, the player who was supposed to get it, denies it. Denying is the act of killing friendlies or allies, though it may be beneficial at specific scenarios, such as securing creep scores, that scenario in the clip surely wasn't, changing the tide of the game which resulted them to losing. For the 3rd one, instead of stunning multiple heroes who are close together, he stunned a spawned creature. Sven's (the hero featured) first ability lets him stun enemies within an AOE (area of effect). In that scenario, he has so many heroes to choose and stun, and possibly kill them. However, he stunned the boar, with no enemy heroes close around it, leading to him getting punished and his team.
@@smOOdiebOOdie Yeah, but it is also objective-based, meaning, you'll benefit a lot if you value the objectives, like creep scoring/farming, taking Roshan, destroying towers, itemizations, lineups, types of damage outputs and etc. Hence, Dota is really complex.
Looks like he might of been to slow to hit it the second time. It takes a second before you can cancel it, atleast during the time that the clip was happening and as he went to cancel it he got hooked by thresh and blown up.
My thoughts exactly. And like Caterpillow said, I believe the culling can't be cancelled immediately and needs a second or so before it can be cancelled. So Turtle should've just kept autoing knowing this fact. By that point his atk spd was probably fast enough to get off more shots than he would with the double shot.
A rioter said after the game that after the last patch, you couldnt cancel the culling instantly anymore. Was a non documented patch note. Wildturtle said it was so que could proc de passive.
@@krissam7791 yes he did If I remember correctly I haven't been able to watch his streams for ages because of timezone difference but he is still playing new hardcore irons and probably soon to be group ironman
Well the "top 1 missclick" wasnt missclick either. He mented to stun the boar. For those who doesnt know, Svens stun is targetable, but has AOE efect around the target. And the boar in moment he used the stun was in the middle of the group of ememy heroes. So he went for a big play, but it failed.
I've seen it on stream, hadn't watched the following fight because I was laughing. Ukrainian casters upheld the boar meme for year, even so it creeped into CS.
The rocket league on can hardly be called missclick and the Summit2g one was not a missclick either. The last Dota one was a missplay not a missclick, if you can't click the right targets it is not called missclick, it is called missplay. Not a mistake but a lack of skill so huge difference.
they didnt mention when Nairo accidentally did an fsmash on platform instead of fall down fair at frostbite 2020 against leo. Dude ended up getting 9th cause of that mistake. Now you might argue it isnt important enough. And you would be right. Im just so happy i can mention nairo again without feeling weird about
I don't understand. Dota2 took 3 spots in the list, including the 1st place. League only took one spot and not very high on the list. But league is in the thumbnail, while dota2 is not?? The reason must be that you guys are afraid that league fans won't click with dota2 in the thumbnail?
@@c4n0 Your statement is very confusing. Since this video features only a little about lol, but it still appears in the thumbnail. Doesn't that simply mean more people care about the game and the video editors still uses the game for thumbnail to get more clicks?
6:17 harmless mistake but big difference CJ Entus Shy is a completely different player than the pronounced "TheShy" two completely different players from two completely different eras.
Summit didnt fat finger his W, he intended to press W to go to defuse the bomb but sadly forgot that he threw a molly and looked away from his monitor... sum1g
imo wildturtle made the right play just kited the wrong way, he should've kited west (leftwards) away from fountain. In the replay you can even see he uses culling for the passive, which he gets off, then the nexus was 2 aa away from exploding.
For #9, I actually don't think he misclicked Culling. If you look at his cooldowns, he had literally NOTHING else in that moment besides ult. His Q, W, E, Flash, AND Heal were all on cooldown, and so his literally only other option was to try to kill the Nexus purely through auto attacks and then attempting to juke cc with no E, Flash, or Heal up. He DID however, have Trinity Force, so activating Culling not only gave him a passive proc, but also a Trinity Force proc, which was the fastest way to try and burst the Nexus down before he died. So it was actually him trying to fix his fuck up leading to that. He auto'd 3 times while E was off of cooldown, and then E AND Q'd before autoing, meaning he wasted an entire passive + Trinity combo and possibly a second round of passive + Trinity Force if he had E'd immediately to put it on CD to get it back sooner, which would have DEFINITELY made him get the Nexus.
Unlucky guy: Did I do something wrong? I'm so sorry. Team: It's fine, we'll see what happens. **team loses game** Team: ITS YOUR FAULT! Unlucky guy: 👁👄👁
I think you missclicked and the KYXY and the boar destroyer got mixed up in order. xD Like come on, top 1 is purely a missclick, not impressive, not too much at stake...and I'm a dota player and big dota enthusiast since there was dota (back in warcraft 3)...hell, I haven't ever seen that missclick been so big of a deal.
Okay, but where was the Nenne mis-clicked grav that cost his team the semi finals?? Overwatch League 2019. New York Excelsior vs Seoul Dynasty. Semi-Finals. Match 4. Last team fight on Railto. Nenne throws a grav in hoping to catch someone, but ends up missing, costing NYXL the chance to enter the team fight with the crucial ultimate.
1g is to fails what oloofboost is to best pro plays for this channel. . Similarly, Coldzera 4K in mirage apts and s1mple double no-scope clips are kept in a locked box with 4 keys to 4 guys from The score in case they need a video about the AWP.4
Fun Fact: I'n Borderlands 3, there's a reference to summit with a rare grenade mod called "Burning Summit". Of course, it's appearence is that of a Molotov cocktail
Ummm TheShy and Shy are two very different people. Shy was a pro play in the lck who actually played for CJ. TheShy is a world champion and has never played in the lck and named himself after shy. Plz get a new editor, or script writer for missing this very obvious mistake
Now they ask why the culling ultimate from lucian on nexus - now i dont know much but theres a possibility that because casting an ability will proc his passive, turtle used it to then cancel for the extra passive, but didnt cancel it fast enough… but again i could be wrong
No fair, it's obvious kyxy's aegis denial should be ranked no.1, it cost the only chance a SEA team had a chance at the aegis. Note: SEA team and not Chinese teams with SEA players in it.
Alliance should've stuck with the carry void and offlane gyro.. space making wise gyro sucks but I think building utility items and making him a spell caster will work better than making him a carry at that game..
why didn't the dota match at nr 10 just get remaked? In league of legends if a player miss clicks a ban / pick they can ask to remake the champion select, especially if it's a high stakes game. I guess this is why dota is known as the caveman's league of legends LMAO
Let me correct you real quick. Wildturtle ultimate was not a missclick. He was auto attacking the nexus, trying to proc the Lucian passive of double attacks to kill it faster. When he ran out of skills to use, Dyrus had the "brilliant" idea to say to Turtle to use the culling to proc the passive, instead of just let him auto. He listened to him, and used it. That made him lose the seconds he needed. So that was not a missclick at all. It was just a bad call from Dyrus.
Saw summit on the thumbnail and was hoping the 1g isn't in the list but of course it is. He didn't misclick or fatfinger anything, he just didn't see how far the molly behind the train (spot now called summit lol) was spread and didn't see his hp because he was high fiving his teammates. Legendary mistake but wasn't due to a misclick
Wild turtle was not a missclick though, it procs his passive for double hit obviously. Can't believe you guys think it made a difference xd and how is boaty not number 1 top 4 is nothing compared to what boaty lost and how it happened.
That sven at number 1 missed because the idiot player had quick cast on. For those of you unfamiliar with the term, in dota you press the hotkey for the skill and then use your cursor to click on who or where you want to use it. Quick cast basically automatically casts the skill on the location of the cursor. That's why sven threw his storm hammer on the boar. Cause that idiot player didn't expect gyrocopter to move ahead so fast. That player is an idiot since most pro players in dota will tell you that quick cast should be off or only on for specific spells instead of all of them.
wildturtle used an ability to get his double shot passive and Trinity Force proc, he wouldn't have done more damage if he just autoattacked. He definitely wouldn't kill the nexus i believe.
summit wasnt a misclick or a fat finger he just wasnt paying attention. Big mistake for sure but no reason it should be on this list. Plenty of other actual misclicks to choose from. And at number 2? Ahead of the guy who lost 9 months of playtime.
summit1g's clip wasnt a missclick nor a fatfinger... he pressed W to go to the bombsite to defuse while looking away to look at his teammates the molly spread without him noticing so he ran into it with low HP. Still a funny clip tho.
lol stop with the dota 2 disrespect no 9 aegis deny on the lower bracket finals game 3 of TI? bullshit and you put an lcs quarter finals misclick over it?
top 10 lists on this channel are so random... How is wildturtle ulting and later still winning the game higher rated than a wrong pick in a tournament? And than a teemo pick, literally the same thing as #10 is on #6? o.O
Tooo be fair I'm pretty sure that he culled the nexus because he realised that he wouldn't get it in time and needed the extra double shot. It only was so low because he still got the double shot, maybe he thought he could cancel it faster, but either way I don't think it was a missclick, might have been a misplay though
Misclick in league that doesn't cost you the game is higher rated then a game losing agis deny. And a draft mistake from dota is lower rated then a draft mistake from league. Not sure how they rank these moments. would love some insight :)
Not TheShy in the Teemo pick. CJ top laner was Shy, a Korean player. TheShy is a chinese top laner that supposedly created his name like that as an honour to Shy.
id say that TL challenger locking Rammus in 5th pick game 5 of the promotion tournament was worse than that teemo. Their comp was already set so it had to go support and it was destroyed. lost the org around a million dollars on the spot they could have had
