There is a house in the middle of the woods with no trail leading to it and it's barely visible on the map, i was never spotted or raided. It's somewhat close to the summer camp near berezino there is a gas station on the road by a ways behind the summer camp. At the gas station you can look for a hunters stand going behind the hunters stand in the woods about 400 meters or so you will see a very nice house just sitting in the woods near a creek. It is absolutely the best base spot for any solo wanting to remain hidden. Another great spot that never got raided was the small island directly south east.

The improvised tent is the best way to test a potential base location. Pop one down near the location you are thinking about. Put some items in it you know someone will take. Keep returning it and see if its been tampered with. If know one has found it in a week or 2. That is a low traffic zone. Every server is different. Different people setting up in different spots so one spot maybe great in one server but sucks in another based off group locations. Improvised tents are your best friend and if someone finds your tent. They will definitely find your base

I'm 3.53 into the video, haven't read any comments, haven't seen any other videos you created, and I've subscribed. I'm a DayZ fanatic, and I've been playing for over a year now, on console. Your info is very educating and the background music is the best I've heard in a very long time, and I watch a good amount of different DayZ youtubers.

We built a base in one of chernos many high rise buildings and we had it 3 months and never got raided. We had 10 gates and it took a while to unlock and lock but worth it. Nice video 👍🏼

There is a wonderful place on the Chernarus map where there are three very nearby towns, 3 ponds to fish in, a few barns here and there for base building, all of which are located in the middle of nowhere. Other online players will occasionally pass through this area, but not so often. Perfect for camping out, hunting, fishing, looting and hitting zombie convoys. Usually a very peaceful place to just hang out in. I've got barrel stashes scattered here & there along with lots of improvised stick shelters scattered about here and there, well hidden. Something else I wanted to mention, when you build an ISS (improvised stick shelter) to stash your loot, always put it in the middle of a field near a tree where there are also bushes or in the middle of a forest where it can be placed around green pines. Always make sure you spread your stick shelters by great distances in the area so they won't all be sniffed out so easily. Another helpful tip, make sure you take a screen shot of your stash and create a file on your desktop to record the exact coordinates of your ISS so you won't lose your stash.

The best base location is actually a dense forest in the middle of nowhere with a big ass tree and all you need is only a shovel and hatchet/axe. Making a stash is literally so underrated😃 I had a couple stashes close to a hotspot location on a 90 slot pvp server for like 10 days before they've been found. (But unfortunately obviously useless if there's cheaters on the server.....)

I mainly play on PvE servers, and my preferred spot has always been on the rocky cliffs just west of Pusta. You get a great view of the harbor and ocean at Prigordki, and by building on the VERTICAL face of the cliffs, almost no one ever sees the base because it is built DOWNWARD instead of up, and hardly anyone goes through there to begin with.

I love building my base in the barns north above Sinystock(1223.86 / 12408.12), although probably the furthest away from the coasts, Siny has tons of base building materials, a short path to Tisy, and really adjacent to the ski resort to snoop around other bases. Also bonus, not on the official map dirt road from the barns down to Siny is the perfect place to hide vehicles, no one goes on that road, especially with the official hiking trail that is a much shorter way into Siny.

I agree especially it takes way less time so you can scatter it and build like 2-3 of those

I have built in every of these locations lol. The biggest base I've had was in the main building in the ski resort. Multiple cars in the garages there and a huge tomato field in the back. That was on a public server and have lived there for months without being discovered. Until I did and then it became a hotspot for PvP, 4aids and people trying to take over whoever lived there at that point. And then dayZ decided you couldn't build inside anymore and the fun was over

I built a small walled off base in the center of the woods south of devils castle had it for 3 months on official until server reset, never raided once. Always came and went through the castle just in case. Fun times.

There is a farm in Zaprudnoe that has three barracks, a piano, a red warehouse and two garage barns with its own water pump. It's also close to unlimited stone, planks, and logs. Also by a gas station and three heli crash spawns. Best spot in the game

I’ve had a lot of bases that have never been found, and the golden rule for me is - small tent, camo net, Deep forest lol I would never build in a building again until they fix the swimming glitch. I only play vanilla.

Hoping to be a first time fresh spawn on Xbox after finals end. Any advice for console players? (Aside from get a PC lol). Also, do ppl use mics bc I miss that aspect of gaming, hoping to walking dead with some randoms after I get used to the game.

Slightly north west from krasnostav there is a radio tower I believe it's named ostry with only two gates needed to block off a nice little space for a 1-3 man squad.

2,000 hours in the game and Ive never seen that tunnel! I guess I know where I'm going this weekend.

I've been seeing a lot of bases recently, so I'll just show some of them First of, today I found a base at the northeast of tisy mb, on the red house and another one being built in the big farm shed (2247 / 15173 on Izurvive DayZ) Always check landmine buildings, there's always a base on these buildings. Theres always a lot of bases in krona castle and in the surrounding buildings, since it's near Tri kresta (it's the only other tier 4 military base in the entire game). Today I also found a hidden stash literally inside a wrecked truck, idk how that guy put the boxes there, but it's a very cool stash spot. (My base is at solnichny, in the landmine building, in case you're all wondering, it's a pretty cool base spot).

Lived in stary on NY 7564 made great obvious base. It's now my trap. I loot stary regularly come take some stuff. Maybe you get easy supplies.....maybe I get yours.

From my experience playing 1pp hardcore lightly modded community servers I heavily recommend people to play servers that don't let you build in Coastal, Military, or Castle areas (Or other prominent POIs). It makes it much easier to hold a base especially when clans can't hold very important loot chokepoints against other players. Remember the servers you play on in DayZ is the deciding factor to your experience, otherwise of course you can experience what it's like to be a Rust player but just on a heavily modded DayZ server. 💀

great video m8, i've got a question about the airfield hangar.. we've got raided recently and managed to save an olga and about 20 crates that are currently waiting for a new spot but im wondering if that hangar is safe enough, i checked the map and says its a contamined zone.. you guys know if the gas reaches that building?

There's a barn in the middle of the forest just north of Gorka. It's a great spot for a hidden base.

I found a relatively good base location on the west part of the map, it was two houses next to a creek and at the edge of the map. It also hat a M3S spawn.

I think. you'll find most community servers have rules against blocking tunnels so that tunnel would break the rules. Otherwise, some interesting spots. Thanks for sharing.

I learned no place is really "secure or invisible" it takes one determined Player who decides to scope the whole Map. Unless you really decide to have a small Base with Hidden Stashes in the Woods no Walls, but thats no Base IMO. I decided to ateast make it Harder for them to Raid it, i build my Base in the Contaminated Zone Pavlovo, i figured at the Rooftop of the Post Office(my Base) or the Hopsital, you have Clear Air. So i fortified the Post Office quite Peacfully, i think it isnt spotted yet, wich is Good i can fortify it even more until it is found. The Rooftop is also Big, i currently have 2 Car Tents, 4-5 Large Tents altough only 4 Placed for Visiual Purposes ,2-3 Medium Tents and 2 Watchtowers.

I like DayZ but I'm really just a stinking noob... I always like a base at Green mountain, it's so homely, a few tents, some barrels, off street parking and awesome views... it might be very obvious but on the right server it's a mansion.

Every base I've built has been raided. I found the best base is no base. I find large one trees on the side of a hill and just stack crates. Haven't been found yet and they're loaded with explosives, grenade launchers, m4s, SVD's, and 101's. I make sure to put them near buildings because it's human nature to focus on the building's.

I used to love DayZ mod... DayZ SA is a joke onto itself. You run around for hours to find some broken guns and ammo to other guns you have not found. It is a fucking joke. And, base building is for larpers.

when day z was still an arma 2 mod and was all about survival, not PVP and being a dickhead (so before that little crew of youtuber sociopaths discovered it and brought all the most toxic murder hobos in gaming along with them,) I had a spawn survive for 4 months real time in a bush camp north west of Podebo Dam. Had mates who were playing on the same server who would die a few times a night. they'd always ask me "where are you" and I'd always give the same answer "somewhere you're not."
