The Tower of Terror Movie Nobody Knows Exists - Every Disney Parks Movie REVIEWED 

The lobby was actually a set because given that the real one was in use for the ride queue throughout the day! Also when theyre walking around the outside of the hotel they actually used a real hotel in Pasadena as a stand in! In regards to promotional footage being used its mostly the other way around with ads later using footage from the movie to advertise the tower :)

i grew up in this movie! found it at the video store after riding the ride at disney world and was obsessed.

Tower of terror is perfect. If they do a remodel like in Disney Land I will never return.

I remember this movie! Use to scare the shit out of me as a kid.

Man, when I was a kid my mom convinced me to go on the tower of terror. We got all the way to the top and she stepped out of line like "okay have fun!" The ultimate betrayal let me tell you. Luckily there was a very nice man there with his own children who talked me through the whole thing and I, of course, survived😂 not without trauma tho 😂😂 and I got a t shirt

I have never forgot about this movie, it is cheesy and just a good story and a good story means to understand the characters and their motivations with a sprinkle of what makes it good. This is an older movie that has a good premise, actors and effects for the time, unlike movies today that has no good character build up. I would rather watch this movie than others. You cannot make a good film, esp tower of terror without a good build up and this had some good scary scenes for people. It may not be a perfect film, but it is still enjoyable especially with Guttenberg as main character and Kirsten. I also like both Haunted Mansion movies despite what people say about them. I have never been on the ride so I can't compare the film to it as I just see the movie for what it is.

You are complaining that they used the actual ride for the movie rather than making a movie about the ride in name only? He writes for the fake supermarket tabloids and you don’t understand why he stages stuff?

If you’ve never been to worlds of fun in Kansas City then it’s definitely somewhere to check out if your into theme parks

Honestly this film is not all bad. When they show the actual ghosts and curse from the ride, it actually works. The dialogue is campy and matches the era this was made in. At least Haunted Mansion tried and failed twice. I feel this film would work better if it were a paranormal horror movie, something like Grave Encounters and Haunted Mansion combined into one. Maybe have the film be about investigators who sneak into the haunted hotel and encounter the many spirits there. Maybe have some actual aspects of horror with some jump scares, spooky effects, paranormal activity. Maybe have this movie be a prequel to the ride that takes place during the era the incident happens. Something to make it more fun and spooky but still retain that disney movie feel. Just saying.

I remember as a Kid I saw a clip of this movie and was scared by it, then couldn't find a full version, so happy I wasn't crazy in thinking this existed

It wasn't a Disney Channel movie..it was a "Wonderful World of Disney" movie..which includes a lot of forgotten adaptation like Freaky Friday with Shelley Long as well as other remakes of classic disnwy live action movies feom the 60s and 70s... also had musicals like "Gepetto" and "The Music Man"......."Rodgera and Hammersteins Cinderella" wirh Whitney Houston and "Life Sizs" wirh Lindsay Lohan are the rare exceptions
