I dig how you’re able to say that in their home turf. And I wholeheartedly agree! Most if not all GR Sport variants look too much like a lazy cash grab, like Toyota isn’t even really trying. I suppose they’ve gotten so big and people in general think like they can do no wrong.
Good that Toyota still offers a pocket friendly product for those of you respecting the old school BOF chassis RWD platforms. I like the Rush for its remarkable engineering. Keeping the weight of a 4.4M, BOF, RWD setup down to 1220kgs is no ordinary task. I wish we had this vehicle here in India. Manual transmission and key ignition adds to the fun. I enjoyed starting my old Innova in gear without pressing the clutch. Micro hybrid launch control of sort 😉.
A 76k price bump for a few badges & no safety sense, I might as well go for the G Variant & upgrade it, it'll be less than 76k. The ladder chassis & RWD is what sets this apart fr other vehicles in its segment, its practical & sturdy. Kudos to your sincere review 🎉🥂
gusto ko sa reviews mo lods, hindi lang basta review nun kotse, ina-analyze mo din yun thinking ng manufacturer (bakit kailangan ng GR Sport na Rush?) looking forward to more reviews in the future
They should have just come out with a variant that has 5 leather seats, Wireless Celphone charger. Leather on the dashboard and steering wheel. Call it “Avanza - Lexus Line”
Sir Reygan would you recommend this Rush GR over the 2023 expander.? My only issue with the expander, veloz and avanza is the front wheel drive I believe rear wheel drive is far better than FWD.. pls enlighten me regarding this.. but all of these Cars are amazing thanks 🙏
FWDs are inherently more fuel-efficient than RWDs, especially when driving through heavy city traffic. That said, if you're expecting to use it at near if not full passenger capacity and/or cargo load for most of the time, RWDs won't disappoint especially at climbs. Same reason why vans and trucks are RWDs. IMO lesser fuel efficiency is a good price to pay if you want to haul. Can't deny it though, mas pogi yung latest Xpander.
What I liked about with the Toyota Rush is its high ground clearance as compared to the Veloz & Xpander. I also don't like the exterior design of Veloz & Xpander.
Nice unbiased review. I think toyota dont need to upscale the materials or techs of their products in order to sell. Just being a toyota will sell their cars nevertheless. Anyway not a fan of the brand.
This is i like the most with this channel if sir reygan’s very honest reviews(heck yeah why you spend and paid extra 76k for only slapping gr badge on the exterior of this car?)
In all fairness, you dont need alot of engine power. In the provinces the roads are not really suitable for speeds of 100 kph or more. And in Cebu Davao or Manilla the traffic is so bad you wont be going anywhere near 100 either. So 100 hp is plenty for most people.
Can anybody tel me,,, What is the rpm's at say 70-90-110 kl hour, on a flat highway with driver and passenger only ??. Also does the manual version perform better at highway speeds ??. And what about noise levels ?. thanks.
Hi sir! New sub here from Dubai. I own subaru xv, but after watching your mazda episodes im beginning to consider mazda cx-5 diesel as our family car in Phil. Please let me know which dealer has the best promo and discount. I tried to inquire from one dealer outside manila but they don’t offer discount for cash due to limited quantity
That interior is very disappointing. it doesnt deserve to be called as Top of the line GR Sport model. if you are getting a Rush just save your money and get the lower variants and buy yourself a GR Sport badge and stick it on, the same product
This is just right. Imagine if the interior is as good as the Fortuner. Fortuner sales will go down considering Diesel price is on a hike. Many will pick this over fortuner since its the "little brother". 🤷♂️ People nowadays tends to pick low gas consumption, looks and budget. Well ill still pick Rush over Xpander thats for sure. Its a Toyota.
Go for the Veloz if you want more features and an all-around good family car. Go for the Rush if you prefer a higher ground clearance for some slight off-road capability and rear-wheel drive
So with Rush GR variant, are they also removing the G variant anytime soon? I remember from your last video on Altis GR, Toyota is removing the V variant. Which I think ridiculous move of Toyota. I'd rather be contented with the G/V variant over these body kits upgrade which I can also avail after market and cheaper I guess? Anyway, just a personal opinion.
The only reason I didn't buy the gr rush was no arm rest, plain interior and crappy radio..disappointed.. I bought the veloz instead..MPV and beautiful interior
Toyota should just drop this nonsense of selling us more expensive variants with literally no difference from the lower ones except w/ the minimal added body kit which we could have ourselves installed for way cheaper. They did this to the Vios and the top of the line Wigo which has the same tiny low, powered engine except they slammed a bunch TRDS badges. Toyota. Just. Stop.
@@johnbrando2666 Unfortunately, you are correct. I think on paper it's about 190mm. But I've seen these on the road. That bottom "flap" up front negates most of it. That will definitely scrape obstacles.
@@johnbrando2666 you can’t have everything in a car and it will always depend on consumer’s needs. Kung sa bahain at maputik ka nakatira at sira sira ang daan papunta, get a Rush or any car with high ground clearance. Paano mo masasabing bad decision to get an Avanza or Veloz e hindi naman ikaw ang gagamit? Lol. Owners ng old car models naghahanap ng negative sa new models pampalubag loob sa bulok nilang kotse. ~kung may kotse.
The GRS was a waste of money. I would not spend my hard earned money for those extra plastic exterior, lol. They should have at least added front windshield defogger if they didn't want the whole toyota sense. Whoever designed this GRS should be fired.
@@reviewqueen2937 Why use rush on offroad? it doesn't have all terrain tires. I think the cvt has more freedom in finding the right gear than the 4 speed At of the rush
@@reviewqueen2937 If you will always go uphill and family, both are not the one for you. You can either add a bit more for an innova E At or manual or try the okavango
@@ArcherArios22 idiot comment, in cities also there are offroads and even flooded muddy areas, the ground clearance makes the rush more capable. CVT reliability sucks than AT.
