This is what saved the end of 2020 for me... this tv-show, this story, this couple, this healthy representation. Yes, it's tragic, but... as they say, even 1 second of true love is better than the whole life without it. I cried my eyes out, I'm still shocked by their story, but it was so beautiful, heartwrenching, memorable... that for the first time in my life, I won't complain about such an ending. They're forever in my heart from now on. And the cast, oh my, everyone was amazing, but the girls - simply astonishing. And perfectly splendid! I love them, love the creators of this masterpiece, and love the emotions this show evoked in me. My bow to Damie!

The au pair knew the moment had come. The beast had lurked indeed, and the beast, at its hour, had sprung. And she could not risk the most important thing, her most important person. Not for one more day. And so, the gardener found herself back at Bly Manor one last time. The gardener said the words she'd heard those years ago. She willed it with everything she had. You, me, us. Us. "Take me with you," she cried in her heart. "Take me. Drag me down like you did the others." But the lady in the lake was different now. The lady in the lake was also Dani. And Dani wouldn't. Dani would never. In fact, no one would ever be taken again. And no one has been taken to this day. For the rest of her days, the gardener would gaze into reflections, hoping to see her face. Her own lady in the lake. She'd leave her door open at night, just a crack, should she ever come back. Waiting for her lover to return. Years would go by, and as she slept underneath the water, the au pair's memories would fade. Like Viola before her, like the children, she, too, would forget her past. She would know nothing of the gardener, nothing of their life together. The details, the specific moments would all fade away. More time will pass, and… The water will wash away the delicate features of her. Of her beautiful, perfect face. But she won't be hollow, nor empty. And she won't pull others to her fate. She will merely walk the grounds of Bly, harmless as a dove, for all of her days. Leaving the only trace of who she once was in the memory of the woman who loved her most.

I find it unfathomable that we will never get more of them.

what i loved the most of this story is that it is not a cliché, i mean, is not about a girl who discovers her sexuality and is really confused about it so the relationship becames complicated. This was a really good story when you can feel real love, feelings and not sexualization because it's a lesbian couple, loved it.

It's quite awesome how this show told this love story. Haven't seen this kind of love on TV in a long time, actually. Indeed, there is a big difference between love and ownership. Jamie invited Dani when she was at the lake, she said the words "You. Me. Us. Us" and Dani accepted the invitation. But, to be honest, there is the whole difference. Unlike Viola did, Dani wouldn't posses Jamie, she would never, because if she did, Jamie would forget about her own identity. I mean, if Jamie looks at reflections, she would see Dani, but she would forget about herself. And that's how deep it hits. People really mistake love with ownership. The love between Dani and Jamie was pure, genuine, they were real soulmates. That's so true, that it's proven with Dani's hand at Jamie's shoulder at the end. She was always there. She would always be there, because they were the love of each others lives, until they meet again. And that's the problem, poppins. I'm not tired of them, at all. I'm actually pretty in love with them, it turns out

7:00 to 9:00 was the most miserable and heart-wrenching-kicking-punching moment of all time. The Haunting series is goat.

"The lady of the lake was different now. The lady of the lake was also Dani. And Dani wouldn't, Dani would never." Those lines brings me to tears each time. The sacrifice Dani made for everyone. And you just see her lifeless body floating at the bottom of the lake while the beautiful soundtrack plays. My heart breaks each time.

love the way this show tells the stories about lgbt characters. love both seasons, the first full of scares and teachings. The second incredible stories about what love means. Jamie's love for Dani was the purest and loyal love that I haven't seen on television for a long time... story well told and with excellent dialogues. Kiss from Argentina.

There's a theory that says that flora's wedding took place at that Manor and since Jamie made up the names, nobody except her, Owen and Henry know that it's the same haunted Manor she mentions in her ghost story throughout. So when Jamie falls asleep that night hoping to see her own lady of the lake, Dani finally shows up and is there with her but only as long as Jamie stays at the Manor because technically, Dani can't leave the Manor, so they just met for one night or as long as Jamie was there in the Manor and she didn't even know

This show made me sob. But Jamie wasn't right about her walking around Bly and being at that lake, she is with Jamie. Her body may be at Bly but her soul is with her soulmate until she dies.

Dani and Jamie's story warmed my entire heart this season.💘👭 You can BET that I was bawling towards the end! 😭💔

the fact that dani could see and feel jamie even though she died, but to jamie? she couldn’t see, feel or touch dani and that’s what hurts me the most.

Honestly thought watching just this supercut would hurt less, but uh, nope! Still makes me weep every time. I love this story.

During the bonfire scene, Jamie said "Here's Dani Clayton. She's a bit of a weirdo, but she's a lot stronger than she thinks..and if anyone can brings Miles and Flora back to themselves, she can. I'm glad she's here". And Dani did..she sacrificed herself. It was really sad to see Hannah never got to be with Owen, and her last word was 'tell him I love him..and the rest.." (it's just confetti ❤️) It was heartbreaking to watch Jamie went back to the lake, screamed and asked Dani to take her in the water... Their pure, selfless love for each others just made this a beautiful love story. Now we all know the ending....so let's watch it again, and count how many times Flora said "Splendid" and how many times Jamie called Dani "Poppins" ❤️❤️❤️ And I want to know what Dani wrote on the letter.

Jamie underwater screaming is heartbreaking

Mike Flanagan knows how to mix real emotional pain most people go through and horror. The Haunting of Hill House does it with mental illness and addiction. Midnight Mass does it with guilt and the fear of what comes after death. The Haunting of Bly Manor does it with love and grief. It isn't just scares it's things that are familiar to us and I think that's why it's so good.

I love the Fact how their love was compared all of the couples in the series. Starting from viola and Arthur: they never had love, only a arrangement, Arthur liked her may be somewhat loved her but it was never love from viola's side. Then Arthur and perdita- Arthur married her because perdita somewhat reminded him about the affection he had for the mother of his child and for perdita it was always related to taking her sister's place rather than loving Arthur. Now we come to the Wingraves and we know how messed up their love story was both brothers loving the same woman beyond words only to have their trust broken ( Dominic by cheating and Henry by being lied to about his daughter). Then it was Hannah and Owen- again a tragic story of unsaid feelings and unaccepted emotions. Lastly Peter and Rebecca- oh god it had so many issues right of the start, it was immature toxic and so consuming that both were losing themselves in order to love the other person. But Dani and Jamie didn't hide their feelings, didn't try to change the other person, held onto each other even in the darkest of times, understood each other and even after death they were together. A selfless type of love where you think about the other person more than yourself. Truly beautiful ❤️❤️

I am in awe of the way Mike Flanagan is able to meld horror with so many other themes that don't necessarily go together in traditional cinema.

Shite mate. This show really drenched me. And Dani-Jamie relationship is so heart wrenching. The episode where Jamie tell her backstory, her family, her pain, her abandonment issue, and her finally get hope again in the hopeless place, she finally found her love in plants and gardening. And how I love every second of her monologue of moonflower analogy. How every living thing grows out of every dying thing. It recycles and refresh. We live more life behind to take our place. If that's not the most beautiful and selfless thing, idk what is. This scene really got me and sold me out. And I feel it really impact Dani too. In the end, she becomes the moonflower too, the symbolic of selfless love and beauty. It's tragic yet so beautiful. It's haunting my emptiness.

I never thought that this show would allow me to see that I'd been running from 'loss' all my life. Jamie and Dani knew how this was going to end and still chose the effortless tumble down, not knowing for how long, or when it would be over. I criiiiiiied. Here I thought I was getting a scary show and I got something entirely different! Genuine art is just so powerful. Thank you, Bly Manor!

I'm a 25 year old man and I was bawling for the last 30 minutes and 30 more minutes after it ended. Reminded me of the Black Mirror episode: San Junipero. What an absolutely beautiful and tragic love story.

Unlike "modern millennium" american horror story or black mirror with all the disturbing act and bloods, this show is so 90's,.. warm and beautiful.

In the haunting of hill house there is a scene where Olivia tells Sheryl that "when we die, we turn into stories, and every time someone tells those stories it's like we are still here for them". Jamie is telling Dani's story, and she is still there for her. It's such a beautiful parallel.

It's the most beautiful love story ever told. I'm in love. It's so real, true and sincere. No big coming out, no one backing of because they're scared, no big fights, no cheat on boyfriend kind of relationship like we are use to see. Thanks to the writers, directors and of course, those two magnificent actresses who portrayed Dani and Jamie and their love to echeother so perfectly. Chemistry, honesty, everything is there. Well, I'm obsessed with them and the love they share since I've watch the show. It's so inspiring and hopeful. I'm pretty in love with them it turns out.

this was one of the best lgbtq relationships i've seen portrayed in the media of 2020, finally netflix has done something good for us gays. it was so utterly genuine even if it ended tragically. they were so obviously inlove with one another, i couldn't help but smile and squeal like a child whenever they shared sweet moments together. the show made them out to be soulmates so well, because i really do believe they were meant to be together just by them looking at eachother. bravo to both of the actresses and everyone behind the scenes for this show, their relationship was beautifully bittersweet

Absolutely in love with this show, I hope the memories Ghost Dani relive are all the peaceful ones; when she first met Jaime, when they owned a flower store together, when they had fun at Bly with the kids, Hannah and Owen. Just like the beginning when The Narrator claimed that Dani thought Jaime was familiar when they first met.

there are a lot of different love stories this season, but theirs is the most touching by far, because they both were so good to each other, their love was equal and pure, forgiving and thoughtful, they really stood by each other right til the end, it's so good to have such a healthy relationship representation on a series, I loved them all the way

There’s something that really gets me about doomed relationships. Where two people have found true, happy love but it’s underscored by a persistent dread and they both know they’re heading towards an unjust and terrible end. Cried my fuckin eyes out.

It was annoying that they didn’t remember Dani when she was the one who cared about them the most meanwhile the no good uncle father Henry just gets away with really being a murderer.

This is the most haunting but beautiful relationship ever. Its one of the only times that I find myself actively seeking out a show that is going to rip my heart out over and over but the beauty of it is so entrancing that I endure the tears to feel the strength of their love.

This is the kind of lesbian love story a lot of us have been waiting for. A genuine, beautiful, sad love story. This is the content us lesbians have been wanting so badly.

It's been a week since I watched the finale and I'm still not over it!!! It's going to take months! Not only the best lesbian couple ever on TV, but perhaps the best couple full stop. So much love and chemistry, it's all I want.

Their story is hauntingly beautiful and tragic at the same time 😭 It feels like those years that they had spent together is still not enough

I can actually felt the pain that Jamie felt when she dived into the lake at Bly Manor and was screaming at Dani to take her in. There is so much of pain of unrequited love that the heart felts heavy and tears drops down the cheeks without you even realizing it. And the last line of the song "Please say honestly you won't give up on me" is such heart warming thing. The creators couldn't have closed the show better. My ❤️ goes out to Dani and Jamie.

I’m so glad they chose Amelia as Jamie! Victoria wanted Oliver to play Jamie, but I can’t imagine this story being as beautiful if it would have been Oliver instead of Amelia!

Why does RU-vid keep suggesting these videos to me, my heart can't cope, I'm crying all over again. It's the gut wrenching realisation on Jamie's face and her screaming "take me with you", but Dani would never, would never sacrifice her most important person. "I will feel everything for the both of us", Dani hasn't gone anywhere because she will live on in Jamie's heart.

The way Jamie deals with Danis panic attacks and hallucinations is amazing and just so perfect. They say all the right things at all the right times. I wish I had someone who would help with my anxiety attacks like that. A show has never touched me like this and no romance story or sad ending hit me that hard I cried my eyes out when Jamie found her body in the lake and I can’t tell whether it’s the beautiful story and emotions of love perfectly conveyed or me just being a huge soft emotional lesbian quite honestly.

"You said it was a ghost story, it isn't. It's a love story." Dani and Jamie are friendship, tenderness, complicity, care, respect and love. Best couple ever.
