Darjeeling & Himalayan Railway: follow the preparation and departure of Class B No 806 "Queen of the Hills" from Kurseong on its way Ghum and Darjeeling. Filmed on the 18 March 2014. Some of the locomotive's slow pace was due to No 806 also being on a test run following derailment and repair. Spot the support truck with 8/10 additional engineers and staff which accompanied the train all the way to Darjeeling.

From 1949 till 1954 lived in Kurseong with my parents and 70 years after that visited kurseong again first time. I was so nostalgic, at the age of 77 never thought would visit my lovely Kurseong again. Kurseong I love you.

Hi viewers I am Bangladeshi . Visit Derjeeling in 1955 and now 75 years more. Again like to visit u r beautiful Hamilayan city. In 1955 Siliguri bus terminal was less rush. Watch forest in both rail road side to go Derjelling. Suvash Roy from Bangladesh.

....The Highway & Road drivers are absolutely insane!!!!..... The D&H 0-4-0T locomotives must have the ugliest proportions of any steam locomotives on earth..... but then as they say "Form Follows Function", and function they did!!
