I've been attending and watching TransAm races since 1970 and have never seen such an unprofessional driver as Drissi. I've seen some tough racing like Parnelli Jones vs Mark Donohue, but nothing so consistently fucked up like Drissi's tantrums. Drissi is a safety hazard and should be banned for life.

I wouldn't take an invite on any pit crew that has Drissi as the driver. He was not only an asshole, but a reckless one to boot, don't know what grudge he has against Amy Ruman except I think he may be sexist. But anyways, that 1 year ban is BS, a life ban would have been better.
I suspect Drissi has effectively ended his pro racing career. I sure wouldn't take him on as a team owner after that display. The best comment was the announcer "I'm not sure what race Tommy was watching there....". What a mess.
This one was embarrassing. Not just because of Drissi's antics but the skill level is pretty low for most of these drivers. Too low for multi-class racing. The "Cadillac" just punted the slower class car out of the way. Andretti was still able to make the podium after that stupid move? They blow their motors up a lot for such short races too, then they just keep driving, laying oil all over the track. I understand it's a short race so they have to go all out though.
Motorsports should never be used as a PUBLICITY STUNT!!! A one off driver sponsored by a movie about Gangsta Rap acts like a thug........... This just reeks of a media ploy. Admittedly this is the first TA race I've watched in 18 years......
Drissi received a 1 year suspension? Doesn't he just race once a year anyway? I don't really like the TA and TA2 classes that much. I wish they'd ditch those 2 and just run a big field of the closer to stock TA3 cars.
Wow - interesting race for all the wrong reasons. Drissi was driving like a kid in an online racing game, but at least in a game the only thing that gets damaged is an ego, not cars or potentially people.
I am looking at this from Belgium. Why didn"t Drissi get a black flag after the first crash. It was obvious that he would do this already he mentionned it. during the interview. This guy should not be allowed to race.
What a vulgar display! Tomy Drissi, in my opinion, should be banned for life, from all forms of motorsports. This type of sever departure from logical & rational behavior is typically attributable to substance abuse. So he should also be subject to stringent substance testing. This cognitive instability & sever detriment in professional ethics & responsibilities should disallow his participation in SCCA (or any professional motor-sports) events, indefinitely!.
