The Trans Kid Situation Is Getting Worse Than We Ever Thought. 

I was a tomboy growing up, l was one of the guys, I hated pink, matching, makeup, brushing my hair, perfume, and anything that was remotely feminine, I HATED it. I wore men's shoes and liked dressing more boyish. As I got older, I did question if I was in the right body. I never felt feminine. My boobs weren't growing, I also was bullied a lot and struggled with depression to boot. At one point, I cut a lot of my hair off and people thought that was me, "coming out." I got called a dyke and other rude things. Eventually, I started to live glitter, dresses, girly stuff. I grew into myself and realized, "Hey! I can like looking both androgynous and girly and still be me. Aka Becky, aka a girl who likes what she likes!" Had I been born in this generation, maybe I would've started blockers, or cut off my boobs. I'm happy I had parents that were sane and never painted me as anything else but a teen who didn't know who she was. I found out who I am, and I'm thankful for that. Tomboy still exists. Stop making it weird. You aren't a they/them. You are someone who likes what you like. Thanks Blaire for everything you do

In California parental permission is needed for anyone under 18 to get their ears pierced. We are so upside down.

Kids should NEVER be allowed to transition before 18 and especially not without consent of their parents. This is literally opening pandora's box.

Y’all I came across a “trans” 2nd grader yesterday. I wanted to cry and scream at the parent.

Heyo Blaire. I clicked on this video and I was advertised puberty blockers to "regulate how I feel about puberty happening in my body". They were essentially telling kiddos to get in contact with their company to purchase puberty blockers. It's probably out of your control what advertisements come up. I thought you'd want to know.

I’m glad I found Blair as a young person. She opened my eyes to the real world and what’s really going on and the real issues that people are trying to cover up.

As a former H addict I can say, the reason so many people do fentanyl is because it’s extremely addictive. I got clean right as fentanyl started to become prevalent and basically replaced heroin. My late husband died from an overdose, so it’s an issue close to my heart. His death was the catalyst that ultimately saved my life, but it was a really dark time. There are H addicts who do fentanyl because that’s what’s available. It’s a tough situation to be in and my heart goes out to those still suffering. 💜

Another concerning trend seen (at least here in the UK) that was seen during lockdown was the massive rise in child abuse and domestic violence. Unfortunately we locked people and children up with their abusers and told them it was illegal to leave the house 😔

This will totally increase the runaways in California. It’s already been an issue for like 100 years there. Now there will be an influx of kids who had no place to go, or who wanted to run away, and now they’ll go to Cali, get surgery for free, and some will def end up in really bad situations. It’s scary enough for runaways, imagine also healing from a major surgery too…

I’m not a member of the trans or queer community but I am young and like to keep up to date, I like listening to you Blaire because you make sense. It’s nice to know the whole world hasn’t gone crazy. ❤

I am not Trans nor do I agree with it but I do have respect for others and their choices. I don't however like the choices people make forced upon others that dont agree with them. What you said about staying in your lane and let people live their lives as they wish is so true. I am a grandmother that's wants to be informed and try to understand today's society and things that my grandchildren may be faced with as they go out into the world. I'm am glad to hear you speaking out against allowing children to do things to themselves that they have no way of truly understanding. I am glad I gave you a chance and listened to your show. My heart really goes out to the ones that are detransitioning. If they would have know some of the things that you have brought up on your show they may be in a better place in their lives and I dont mean not choosing to be Trans but know the side effects and issues that come with the complete transition. I’m in my 60’s and did not want my grandchildren to suffer. My health is my responsibility. I was in the longest lockdowned city on the planet - Melbourne (our very own dictator) this was a travesty and what scared me was how compliant my kids in their 20’s were (are) they did not question the government’s vitriol at all. My children in their 30’s and 40’s however fought back. We seem to have lost critical thinking. Thankyou Blair for inviting people to think!

I’m hoping eventually someone will answer my question. Who is going to take responsibility for these children when let’s say one dies during a procedure? Who is taking responsibility when they have an adverse reaction to the medication or anesthesia and die? Or goes septic/SSI/gangrenous from an infection at the incision site? Who will take responsibility? Who’s calling the parents to let them know their kid is no longer here because they thought it was a good idea to do this to kids? Edit to add: Parents who allow this to be done to your child…If your kid dies when your virtue signaling over comes common sense, are you prepared to loose your kid in the name of being “woke”? When you have to tell people you let your 13 year old have a double mastectomy and she died or you let your 13 year old have a double mastectomy and her nipples lost blood flow from infection so she lost both of her nipples, Will it be worth it? Talk about “You can have a trans kid or a dead kid”.

I feel so blessed I was a troubled teen before the gender warriors took over. I used to love to play with my moms makeup and dressing up. Today I’d be a gender identity mess cuz my mom fully would’ve fallen into this trap. Here I am today. As masculine presenting as you can imagine. Let kids be kids. Sometimes kids just want to play and sometimes it’s just a cry for attention. That poor young man. I don’t care where you politically align yourself. You’re a human being worthy of love and respect. So many of my friends aren’t politically aligned the same way as me. I don’t disregard their safety and ability to live their life with love respect and joy. I can’t believe someone would do this to such a young life.

You came on the scene at the height of cancel culture (if I'm recalling the era accurately), & you were like _"Fuck it. I said what I said."_ I've admired & appreciated that so much! It's courageous, & whether people agree or disagree with you, they know where you stand from jump. It's a solid foundation that allows for *real* conversation. I'm definitely still here for it.

I love this format of breaking down the news, it might be a lot of work but maybe starting all your podcasts with 10-15 minute news recaps and then hopping into the interviews could be a vibe. But if not having regular episodes like this would also be cool

Totally agree, my youngest was going into 3rd when the shutdown started and completed 4th grade during as well. Those are the 2 years you learn the building blocks for math. She struggles with math now and the way I was taught was completely different than the way she is being taught. I had to sit and watch her teacher explain it while she was learning just so I could help her out.

Thank you talking about Fentanyl. My niece of 23 years old recently died and while we don’t know the reason yet, they found fentanyl in her room. 😢 we are heart broken and had no clue she doing this and other drugs. I never thought that would hit close to home. Other ppl I know also know of someone who has died from this. Absolutely horrific and worse than covid.

As a drug addict. For 12 years. (I'm 24 years old currently.) I have been a heroin addict for 4 years. An IV user for 2 years and now I haven't used intervenisly since February. (with some stunts of sobriety here and there.) I can tell you the fentanyl "epidemic" is a huge issue because it's so cheap that it's now being used in soo many other drugs. But the whole someone will die from touching one little spec. Is not true. Those who aren't regular users are the ones dying because they don't have any tolerance to it. I personally have {previously} done 10+ of those little blue ills you see on the news in one sitting. The only way of "fixing" this is ensuring the çhildren growing up today don't need to recover from their childhood. I was a daily drug user by the age of 12. The trauma I endured before I found that cooing mechanism. No child should have to go through. What I did. I truly believe that the only way to end this addiction problem is to educate the children of the world and to support them and not turn them down. Blair I watch your content and I'm 32. I have a little boy who's my miracle baby. I remember back when I was growing up where the only topic in school was what sexuality you were. The only time I heard of trans individuals was on the news when people where trying to get them into woman's sports. I had no clue what trans was until much later in life. Now with this social contagion I'm wondering how I can protect my child from being exposed to all this insanity with made up pronouns and gender ideology. I have always supported that trans Individuals have every right to be happy and to feel comfortable with their bodies as adults. In the past I feel all the red tape to protect the individual from the last resort which is surgery is now gone and now we are tossing in children who are very easily manipulated and confused. When I was five I told my mom I was a boy and that I had a penis. I didn't know or understand the differences in boys or girls until my mom told me " no baby you're a girl you have girl parts. " I'm a very well adjusted woman today. Kids get confused at times and it's not body dysphoria. We literally got rid of the mental health aspect of things. In any case I've got my work cut out for me to keep my boy out of this chaos. I feel your channel is very informative and keeps me in the loop on these matters. I still support real trans individuals who have a good grasp on reality. I wish more people from your community felt strong enough to speak out though I know it must be hard having the rage of the LGBTQ community but I support you. I know it must be exhausting but thanks to you doing this I stand a chance to safeguard my little one in his future.

People have no idea…. Just wait. They can literally take our kids from us in the name of “trans rights.” Let’s say a teacher reports a parent, now CPS could get involved in CA now. This is insane. So kids can’t drink until they’re 21, they need adult supervision/permission to get permanent tattoos, and have to be at least 16 to drive a car, but a five year old can undergo irreversible surgery that can potentially scar them (pun intended) for life because they were told to believe they were something they weren’t.

Roe V Wade has been reversed, making abortion illegal 2. Teens can't vote or buy cigarettes until they are 18, and 3. The age of consent for seggs is 18 in most states. 3. You must be 18-21 yrs to gamble in casinos, depending on the state

Thank you so much for talking about the effects the pandemic has had on children. I work in a nursery/kindergarten and since covid I’ve seen a pattern of 2 year olds with intense anxiety and attachment issues, all the staff know why. Lockdowns are no way to live for anybody.

I discovered you recent and appreciate your nuanced conversations about this. I'm a Black female anarchist from New York. I've spent most of my life comfortable in progressive spaces and mostly agreed with them. But I've seen a lot of manipulation in the trans movement. I have friends who were suffering from deep mental health issues before and who got this marketed to them as a solution and are now incredibly unhappy. I wholly believe in sovereignty and in basic human rights, everyone deserves tolerance, care, and safety is just love if we were able to have a civil cultural conversation about how we're going about this. Involving children in it before we've even figured ourselves out is beyond me and suddenly you get pigeonholed as conservative or hateful for asking if we're going too far or if the ways we're responding to things are universally helpful. It's interesting to see how angry people are at you for being a trans person who also has your own independent ideas.

"Why are we doing this, it doesn't make sense" - I had those thoughts as a kid too, like having to say the pledge of allegiance at the beginning of every school day. That was one of my first memorable "rebellions", but I still let the teachers shame me into standing up and mouthing words even if I wasn't saying them. Eventually they stopped paying attention to me, but for so long I was stared down for being the non-abider. Nowadays, everyone realizes how absolutely crazy it is to have kids speak this nonsense.

About the fentanyl... I was given a prescription 13+ years ago for chronic pain.. it was, you guessed it, Fentanyl patches! I don't get a euphoric high from it, but I can't live without it. The withdrawals are so stupidly insanely painful that I almost took my life if it hadn't been for my wife... I survived because she helped me the best way she could...

Just recently discovered your channel, primarily in binging through a million podcasts after a friend recommend I read the book "Trans" because my 14 year old daughter is lesbian and was talking about a few friends at her school saying they were trans. Which didn't click instantly and upon investigation started to discover the new meaning of trans and gender ideology that is being pushed. Please keep pushing forward with these podcasts, I think they help a lot and it's good to hear someone say what I am thinking as well. As a later genx 78', I definitely remember the times when we could just talk shit and it was ok. I thought we were done with the divisions, but here we are. Thanks for the amazing content.

Okay that explains why I'm so messed up. For the first 18 years of my life due to my parents arguing and due to me being non-talkative I only had maybe one friend and I went to school like twice a week or twice every two weeks to pick up homework and teach myself math and Reading. Now as an adult it's very awkward for me too make a friendship and communicate with people and they have to carry on a normal conversation with other people and keep trying but I never occurred to me that it could I've been brought on a social isolation my parents would keep me locked up in a room for the first 14 years of my life and then very limited and I never saw anybody's face other than the television my mother my father keep me home I taught myself how to read and do math. Now I'm so sorry awkward hard to communicate with people hard to carry on a conversation you name it

The comment made about small children and masks is on point. My daughter only ever remembers school with masks. She started preschool with masks on and knew nothing different.

We need to help kids be comfortable in the body they were born as especially today as it's becoming clear something sinister is going on over 10 years ago there was barely a thousand now it's all over like a rash.

As a native and life long Californian, I hate how social media constantly makes our state out to be a liberal cesspit ( I mean it is, but not to the degree that is exaggerated online…) This bill doesn’t allow runaways from coming into California for gender surgeries who are minors and don’t have parental consent. This new law simply clarifies that courts should retain jurisdiction in situations where a parent brings their child to California so that they can obtain medical treatment for gender dysphoria from a state that has banned or restricted access to that care. That includes mental health treatments. Whether or not all gender-affirming care to minors is considered abusive is debatable. A 17 year old who’s one month away from turning 18 is not the same as a 8 year old but they are still classed legally as minors. California also allows minors to be emancipated and emancipated minors don’t need parental consent for anything. It’s a rather complex family law area. This bill mostly makes it so a non-custodial parent who lives out of state can’t impose those states laws on California law. It’s to do with custody battles, like if a child wishes to be with a parent who consents and affirms their gender identity, the other parent in the custody battle who lives in like Texas has no say what the custodial parent in California does and can’t use Texas law against them in court. I personally don’t think anyone should be having gender surgeries or mutilating themselves, but we live in a crazy world. I don’t think the current health care for people suffering these mental health issues is good for anyone, and is something one day humanity will look back on in horror once medical professionals gain a better understanding and treatment plan for these things.

Freedom of speech is so precious. I encourage everyone to know their rights and stand on them before we lose them all…..

Thank you for talking about the Fentanyl crisis. I almost lost a family member due to (accidental) Fentanyl overdose recently. It was in another substance they were taking, and because they didn’t test it they had no idea. He spent time on life support and the doctors said it’s a miracle he lived. The pandemic really sucked, but compared to my mom's death in 2020, it didn't seem that traumatic. Sure as hell wouldn't want to go through it again. It would be more traumatic NOW bc I need physical contact with my siblings. Our dad's gone as well.
