My biggest enjoyment of your videos is your attention to patience. Nothing is rushed, giving my old brain a relaxing experience. Good job here. Do more! o7
This was really chill, I needed this today lol. And your voice is really nice :3 Something I really love about SC is how easy it is to slip into role play in it. I generally walk everywhere too, at the same speed that I would walk IRL. Just makes it seem more real :3 Also you're making me realise I need to explore Daymar
I really had fun seeing you landing on the top of a mountain, rushing downhill in a car without braking while talking about relaxation and having a glass of champagne. Haha. Imagine sitting back there while spinning through the air. You survided very long. Liked and subscribed
When you leave your ship behind i recommend to power down your engines only ( I ) SO it doesn't do the wierd bug taking of and hang a few meters above ground. Liking this kind of content, your voice is very nice but to soft over the game sounds, sometimes a bit hard to hear. But hey. could be my old age and not English native ;)
@@glitchedinorbit one of the small things I love about this game aside from the views is having an 'power down' routine. Makes me feel like a real spaceperson. Power to shields, shut off engines, get out of seat, simple but effective for making me feel really there.
The Carrack / Pices combination is a very cool set up. Your walking speed is perfect. Running has its place and time. However, for a normal effort, walking is cool.
I wish starfield had the proper planet visiting experience without the cinematic cuts. Leaving atmosphere and entering/landing yourself must have been great for that game
also I wish that Starfield had ground vehicles. After being able to use ground vehicles and atmospheric flights in Star citizen. I have stopped playing all the other games in cluding starfiled.
30:40 Good advice on slowing ship faster by 180* as its faster than boosted brake! Like Expanses 'Flip n Burn' Id add if in space, its good to go into decoupled first so the rotational change does alter your course. Once your halfway turned, use 'look behind' keybind (may need manual bind in setting?). This was a godsend when coming in hot with raw mined Quant and my timer at like 30sec. Thx for the chill stream! Props for not sprinting everywhere, it kindve kills the 'immersion' factor!
It's indeed way faster! Thanks for adding that tip as well, that could come in clutch some time. And you're very welcome, glad you liked the chill immersion. :)
3.19 has been so reliable that I managed to live a week on Hurston mostly driving a ROC and using my ship just to log out. It's a great experience. ( I recommend north pole because it's always sunny there :D)
Your voice is so soothing and it's really nice to see someone appreciate the beauty in the quieter, calmer moments Star Citizen has to offer. Please make more of these, I could watch hours and hours of them.
I have made good discoveries by not heading to any facilities. I just see an area that looks interesting and head down. Sometimes it takes time but I think its more on the exploration side. Good hostile evasion. Those were npc's btw.
John, Thanks for indentifying them as NPCs. I am still struggling to figure out if my attacker is an NPC or another player. Any tips will be appreciated.
I fully agree. So much detail and gorgeous visuals to take in. I'd also love a solid exploration gameplay loop, especially with gathering/selling data. :)
I’m pretty sure that the fault of your little tumble in the Lynx Rover was due to the fact you picked a planet with low gravity wasn’t the vehicles fault that its mass was lighter. Maybe I’m not too sure as I am not a player of the game. I’m not entirely certain whether artificial gravity exists within the game and how it functions is there anything like the real thing I don’t know but this is just my observation.
I love the space junk of old ships around the space station.. but I think for true realism it would need all those trivial travel items people always lug around, space-cookies, toothbrushes..
I finally finished the video .... I have ADHD, I watch stuff by pieces, thats how it works 😅. (Adding more comments to help with RU-vid's dumb algorithms). Lynx at Daymar I'm surprised that it didn't explode Chloe. I got the Storm but didn't get the Lynx, might get it, looks nice and it also fits the Carrack. With so many vehicles being pushed to us I concur with you they placed too many rocks. How would Opportunity and Curiosity drive in Mars if CIG designed Mars?? 🤣
No worries, take your time and do things at your own pace! :) I'm also quite surprised the Lynx didn't explode. It's quite a nice vehicle to drive around in. If there aren't too many rocks of course. xD
So glad to watch this video. I also enjoy just exploring around more than the other activities in SC and its so good to see that there are other players who likes that too. I liked your comment on just walking most of the time and enjoying the view. It looks so funny when i see other players are just running and doing those funny jumps. I also dont get why would someone just attacked you without any provocation when you dont have any valuable cargo onboard. It happened to me several times. Its just ruining the game experience for all. It means we will never be comfortable to get close to any random palyer in the verse and make friendship with them. I know ORGs are there for that but I want to just meet someone in the verse in-person and had a chat about their day. Now I just have to ba extra carefull all the time and run away. Awesome CIG!! I loved the fact that you can just backsapace and respawn back inside the carrack. The more I see carrack I love it. Oneday I will grind enought money get this. Meanwhile please make more videos like this.
I'm so happy I'm not the only one who has this play style! And I'm sure the attackers were NPC guards or something, so it's all good. I do agree it ruins the experience when actual people do it for no reason though. It used to be so much easier to make in-game friends with people a few years ago. And the Carrack is super helpful for respawning; it's a beast. Please look forward to another video today! :)
I had to destroy the Carrack today because it had stuck a piece from another ship (was small) on the side, no clue how it got there. I could not log out as it was saying items present that I did not own. Even saving and retrieving the ship didn't remove that piece. So destroyed and reclaiming. Thank for the Video!
Leave your power on when you leave your ship, but always turn off the engines with 'I' so it won't float away like they tend to do. Best advice I got when I first started playing.
You was asking how relaxing will be this chapter is when you was driving there in the mountain/rock/cliff, I can assure you it was and a lot! hahaha also so funny. I hope soon I can get SC so I can drive for you :P
Amazing video! The only little thing I would suggest improving is that it could be cool to somehow isolate your voice from the game. Make your voice clearer in the context of in-game sounds and ambience. Right now, they are sort of fighting each other. I am not sure what video editing tool you are using, but I am sure that there is a plugin or some other simple trick to achieve that.
The speed you walk is just fine with me. Play the game as you seem fit, don't worry about us. Good video, I enjoyed watching it. Your voice is a little quiet, though. Sometimes it's hard to hear you over the noise in-game.
Ok a few things I do videos, narrations aswell on my channeI. Secondly you sound my ex, which I kinda miss. Im a bit weirded out how dead on you sound like her. This is surreal, have not thought about her in years. It is like I am on the phone with her again, listening to your voice. Lol sorry I know this is an odd comment. But I can hardly tell you apart from her voice. You have no idea. Edit. Looked at you pic just to make sure.
