"Raise resiliant children by not cuddeling them to much?" Well most survive it, but very rare really become resiliant. Many suffer depression and some kill themselfes. As my husband did. He tried as hard as he could to cope with the feeling of not beeing loved and accepted by his parents. Elon is unique.

Just to be clear... Elon grew up in a very wealthy neighbourhood in Pretoria. The "killings" that was referred to was more likely protests shown on TV at the time. You would not see those protests and things going on in those areas. There is still none of that going on in those areas. He went to Pretoria Boys High which is still a very prestigious school to this day. They have an "Old Boys" gathering every year as far as I know. It does not help taking the man appart for whatever reason. Respect him for his work. That is all he ever really offered.

Elon won me over when he was talking about honesty in the context of autism. It’s taken me 44 years to learn that I’m the one who is different, that I should not assume the motives, intentions, and thought processes of others are like mine. I do not scan the environment for deception, I do not assume the worst in others, it never occurs to me that the words being spoken are not true and accurate. Imagine the confusion during a decade-long marriage to a covert narcissist - didn’t even know that was a thing. I can’t remember exactly what Elon was saying, but whatever it was, it resonated so deeply, I knew in my soul - he’s honest like me. It’s not actually a good thing, I suppose. Certainly not in an unaware state. But he speaks my language, and that’s good enough for me.

I think my husband is a genius. I sometimes think he has multiple personalities, separates himself from people, gets bored easily, thinks he's autistic, highly intelligent, hates engaging at a low vibration and level, etc. I brainstorm a lot through him inluding in my own career etc.

Sure that is normal. But to be attracted and to want to spend your life (or a small part part in his case) should be two different things. Sure comfort is guaranteed is valuable but I don't think you will get the best respectful and positive relationship from somebody treating his employees and the world like he does.

A genius?! 😂 He's a conman who fooled Isaacson. Clearly you're part of the cult of Elon. Do you work in tech? If so, is it in Silicon Valley? If you did or do you'd know the open secret in the valley is he's not a genius. He steals technology or takes over companies like Tesla from others. He didn't invent PayPal. He was one of many investors. He talked them into making him CEO and was so awful the BOD fired him. His fellow conman and white supremacist, Peter Theil took over his role. There has never been a CEO of a publicly traded company or companies is his case, that wouldn't have been fired and sued by shareholders by now...oh...that's right...he is being sued by Tesla shareholders. Space X? The man has zero clue what he's talking about regarding rocket science and hilariously makes shit up during interviews.
