Si...es esa mezcla de culturas la que junto con las músicas que ya existían antes de la época Andalusi.. no debería de olvidarse de los ritmos africanos no arabes solo, también sefardies. ,,y que nació en España en un momento de opresión cultural y religiosa ..por eso el flamenco es es el resultado de las minorías que después de Al andalus fueron marginados..de ahí nació.. y gracias a ellos podemos escuchar esas letras increíbles que hablan de la vida ❤❤

As a moroccan i see a big influence from india too but i think at the end its a mixture of many of them. I would like to add that a lot of Palos in flamenco have the 6/8 or 12/8 time signature which is very similar to African rhythms or more specifically to the moroccan ones. If you listen e.g. to the the rhythm of a Tanguillos or a Bulerias and hear the moroccan Chaabi you will be surprised to hear how similar it is, additionally if you listen to a North African style Called Gharnati „Gharnata is Granada“ and listen to the Flamenco singing you will be as well surprised how similar it sounds. No wonder, the moors from North Africa spent almost 1000 years in Andalucia before getting kicked out by the Christians. Flamenco nowadays is one of the greatest styles music for me and got as well a lot of influences from Jazz and Brazilian Music (which is basically inspired from African music 😊).

Sephardic jewish culture was very much an influence and part of a trio of cultures in andalucia that gave birth to Flamenco. Areas such as Sacromonte in Grenada where the Romani, conversos (converted jews) and moriscos (converted muslims) were forced to live on the outskirts of society intermarrying and intereweaving their DNA on the art form

You forgot Jewish . Because saphardic Jews were living in ANDALUCIA AFTER THE DISTRUCTION OF SOLOMON TEMPLE . IN YEAR 156. And Arab Moroccan in 711bc year. GYPSIES ARRIVED IN 1424 BEFORE THE SPANISH EXPULSION 1492 .
