I just wanted to share how I felt about my own maxing, and how I feel it relates to an important life message that I try to live by every day.

Getting recommended this on the day of my own 137-ing is wild. But you're absolutely right. Cherish every moment. We'll be looking back on these days soon enough, wishing we could be here to do it all over again.

Haven't played toontown in the better part of a decade, and despite this video being 3 years old I've gotten it in my recommendations. Thank you for making this, it is a much needed reminder for all. God bless and have a wonderful day squire green duck.

Such an amazing video! I'm getting out of a really deep ruck this summer, mainly as a result of quarantine and removing from an injury. What really made me start turning things around was appreciating all the good moments in life, as well as in Toontown. I think most of my love for Toontown, and especially Corporate Clash, was from the journey and the small moments. The hype and eventual release of Corporate Clash in 2018 was one of the funniest periods I can think back on. I didn't have a specific goal in mind, besides wanting to play the game ASAP, but all the snippets and teases from the team and general hype in the community made the wait amazing. Every day was waking up and going to sleep in pure anticipation for new updates. I used to use those moments as a contrast to my situation for most of this year, insisting that those moments, the "good times" of my life were behind me. Thankfully, I slowly realized that those good moments can happen. Was I aware at the time that the wait for TTCC was more enjoyable than actually playing? Was I aware that those nearly care-free days were going to last forever? No, of course not. I was just processing and enjoying all the little tidbits, while not really chasing after a goal. I think this goes true for most people. At a certain point, people begin to think of the past as the only enjoyable time of their lives, something they can never get close to. This is why you get many who criticize younger people for enjoying themselves, either through gaming, social media, or memes. They have forgotten how it was to live the moment and have fun. I slowly saw this happening to me, where I would subliminally get upset over people enjoying gaming or social media. I realized that's not the type of person I want to be, and decided I will live life for the journey and the little moments that occur so often. With this new mindset, I think I've finally gotten more enjoyment out of living, and I encourage anyone to do the same. "Once you think all the good times are behind you, you inevitably make that statement true." I know this is kinda a rant at this point, but its just something I need to get out, after experiencing how exhausting life can be when you don't appreciate all the little moments. Also, congrats on getting 137 laff, let's hope one day we can get above 137 :)

I couldn't of said it better myself. I started playing Toontown in 2003, I never really stopped, just took breaks, even the end of the game couldn't stop me. I tried for contests to get an alpha key in TTR, then tried for beta, then participating in semi-open beta, never got the key but at least I was still on top of things. This game has been there with me through a good amount of my life, I was just about a few months away from turning 12 when I played for the first time & now I'm 29 so yeah, big part of my life was spent playing this game. I never reached 137 laff & I never intended on it because I remember when I was a kid, wanting to be 111 laff when that was the max but during the journey getting there, I found it wasn't somewhere I wanted to be. I finished DDL in 2004, back when the VP was the only boss & it was super hard to beat back then, it was a struggle just to get to being a level 2 Cold Caller, other than me being soundless & having to communicate through speedchat because it was either that or add people as an SF back then, VP was stronger & you lost disguise parts whenever he beat you. I wasn't looking to max out my VP suit, that's for sure but I still tried to chip at it in small doses. I had more fun fishing to get laff boosts. Thing is, I was often bored because typically when I got onto Salty (my main toon) I'd just fish, that's about it. I missed the days of playing with my best friend, working together to get stronger. Since I didn't know how to add her as SF even though I knew her from school & I didn't know her phone number, we had a system to where I'd whisper the bought phrase off my chat "been keeping out of trouble?" which meant to call me then I'd hear the home phone ring & we'd hog the landline as we played Toontown together but by the point the two of us finished DDL, it was either lose against the VP again, get our disguise parts back, or fish so we started drifting apart & she stopped paying for Toontown because she was bored by it. The journey is a lot of fun, I start over toons a lot, still keep in contact with people I met either through TTO or early days of TTR, & we find ways to make it fun. I never raised a toon to 137 laff but that leaves things open, I'd hop into the discord chat or something & be like "who is up for doing what?" I have toons in all stages of life pretty much so I could join them at any point they're at & I've got 3 toons that completed DDL tasks so typically I'll have a toon ready for promotion somewhere other than bossbot, I have my boss suit on my highest toon, she's ready for promotion but being soundless in TTO not only soured my taste for doing the CEO but that was the very last thing I ever did in the game before it closed down, a friend of mine I met through TTO had never done a CEO before so the last night of the game, I went in with her to do one but her internet crashed during the run so she never got to complete it, I have had a hard time bringing myself to do CEO runs due to how I ended TTO. From everything, I have mountains of memories & can go on & on telling many stories from many different areas of the game, I've seen so much & experienced a lot of stuff, I never plan to stop experiencing things too. Most toons I have, has a story behind them. My 120 laff & 107 laff toons both participated in different Laff O-Lympics, that's what really got me back into the swing of things because before that, I just sort of doddled on TTR, I raised two toons up to the Brrrgh level then just sort of goofed around because I didn't want to get too far too quickly but then with the crocs vs deer Laff O-Lympics, I wanted to get gold which didn't happen because through terrible luck of golf not working at all & everyone in my neighborhood being without internet for about a week because of some construction or something, it just couldn't happen. I would take my laptop & bus over to Starbucks in order to use the internet, I remember doing VP battles in a crowded Starbucks as I drank my coffee & people wanting a place to sit would give me weird glances. I even shared my table with a stranger once because of how packed the place was. Also, their internet was terrible. I DC'd a lot, I did manage to make it to hollywood through some miracle but yeah, that was a darker time & I got silver due to the struggle but I got gold second go around, I was on team Milk & Cookies, that experience was a lot more positive, met some amazing people & worked with them to reach 115 laff, we held maxing parties & one friend went above & beyond with maxing her sellbot, cashbot, & lawbot suits during the event. Just getting my sellbot suit maxed was too much for me to handle so I don't know how she pulled it off. I even went with her for a CJ run & because of her time zone, it was like 1am for me & it took us like an hour to get a full group of 8 so I really don't know how she managed it but good on her. Getting gold was a lot of fun, the last night leading to the end was something I will never forget, is probably one of the funnest experiences I had in TTR & reminded me of why I loved the original game so much. Most of the people I met on the journey were on, we gathered in DDL, threw beans, & got into the glitch area above the playground where we threw more beans & hung out, talking about the different experiences & stuff. One person came down to the wire to get her last laff point, I think she managed it but was a close call. We were all rooting for her, I think she was getting it by fishing or something, I don't entirely remember, I just remember it wasn't from doing a boss. I could sit here all day sharing Toontown stories & I plan to make so much more, I had a lot of fun raising up yet another toon, she's working on DDL tasks at the moment, I'm taking a break because last time I was on her was stressful. Needed Number Crunchers, there was an invasion for them & I was in a hurry to find a building & get all of them before the invasion ended because I hate cog specific tasks but needed it for the bigger jar. I've done some odd builds of toons too like this one dog I made, he only has drop. Raised his squirt up to squirt gun but all he ever uses is drop, maxing out his drop was a ton of fun. I don't ever plan to complete MML so no need for cream pie. That was a fun time building him but I'm weird with my love for drop, that low accuracy makes it feel so rewarding to train. I never plan to stop making in game memories & maybe one day I'll unintentionally reach 137, I do want to max racing eventually, hopefully Blizzard won't be glitched after I move & have different internet so maxing racing becomes possible. Maybe just by having fun with friends, I'll reach it but I never will plan to get there. Just taking things as they are & adding more stories to my massive bank already is how I like to do things.

@@fauce3275 TRUE! Honestly, ubers are so much fun to play on. I maxed my sellbot suit on my uber before I did it on my main. 😆 My favorite uber I've been working on has maxed toonup, throw, and squirt. And I'm going for 56 laff on them so I can roll up on some field offices. They have 49 right now, I just need 3 more from sellbot suit, 2 from gardening, 1 from racing, and 1 from fishing. Steel factories are exhilarating with them, constantly living on the edge.
