Praise god, I quit Kratom as well a little over a year ago, noticed my hairline (I have a widows peak) was slowing disappearing lol, but now it’s full thick and healthy, when I noticed it was full it made me feel this pure sober joy again, like a balance of life, but not the only reason I quit, I just wanted to be good to myself and take care of myself, been eating healthy, exercising, life is so good, been praying so much, I thank Jesus everyday❤️✝️

Lmao there is literally 0 pharmacological reason or evidence that Kratom would cause hair loss. In fact the opposite would be true due to its effects on test levels. You are literally just delusional 😂😂😂😂. "Why am I balding as a male, it can't be because 30 percent of men go bald!!! No its the kratom!!!!111!" 😂😂😂😂😂 🤡

I discovered Kratom back in 2009 while stationed in Japan simply by looking for natural alternatives to pain meds. I had several surgeries and a bad back injury but the pills made me a completely different person. Kratom is a miracle for pain relief but is absolutely, positively, 100% addictive.

Same here since 2014, a couple of grams a day mixed in delicious almond of oat milk makes it go down easily. I can't even imagine some people eating the raw powder with water. Yuk! lol It keeps me calm, even keeled with reduced back ache due to my office job sitting all day long. :)

I believe that opiates are less expensive as kratom I am spending between 600 and 800.00 every month to have enough kratom to work through my spinal injury pain and I have been taking it consistently for about 2 years now. I started using kratom about 10 years ago and I would take it once in a while it also gave me that very euphoric feeling but since I have been taking it daily for pain maintenance I don't get a euphoric feeling it just helps me to push through the incredible pain I'm experiencing and by no means does it ever kill all of the pain but it is a lifesaver in helping me maintain somewhat of a life and taking care of myself by myself I'm at least able to keep my place clean and keep meals prepared. I haven't worked over the last 2 years and I have no social life it's just me and my dog and without the kratom I don't think I would be able to move the pain is that bad.. I also had an opiate addiction about 20 years ago after having a terrible accident and blowing the disc in in my neck after surgery I continue to take opiates for almost 10 years it was a horrible heinous addiction Ed eventually led me to develop a irreversible condition called gastroparesis which means your entire GI tract shuts down and eventually you will just starve to death and it's incredibly painful. After doctors told me the only thing they could do for me was give me feeding tubes and a gastric pacemaker I decided that I would just lay down and die because I was not going to have my son changing my colostomy bags I couldn't imagine living that way so my son left college and he came and nursed me back to health 100% against all medical journals as they will tell you it's incurable, however within 6 months I was completely cured and I decided I would never ever touch opiates again. I went to 100% holistic and I went to NA meetings incredibly even the pain for my neck had gone away completely however a friend told me about kratom and I tried it here and there once in a while for energy the white strain I love the energy it gave me but it was so expensive I knew that I could not allow myself to take it on a regular basis. However two years ago when I got my spinal injury from being hit by a car they offered me opiates again but I knew I did not want to go down that road ever again so I knew that the kratom was a wonderful option so I have been taking kratom daily for the last 2 years I take the extract and it's very expensive but it is the only natural thing that I can take that helps me through the day everyday. So I really thank God for kratom it can cause you to get constipated but if you're eating a healthy diet with live fruits and vegetables your bowels will work just fine. Also I stay consistent on the same dose every day and that is to extract bottles dosed out in three servings from each bottle I never ever have to take more as a matter of fact I have tried to take more when the pain is so severe but I find I vomit and throw up when I try to take more than my daily dose one thing about kratom is if you take too much you will definitely throw up taken in moderation with a healthy diet it will serve you well but if you are using it as cocaine and or opiates and abusing the intake it absolutely can make you sick like any pharmaceutical medication or street drug so I suggest that you definitely do not try taking kratom to stay high taken in moderation for energy or help sleeping or help with pain you will find it will serve you well alongside of a very healthy diet. Also any kind of substance that you are using daily can begin to stack up in your system so as in my case I would suggest that you take a zeolite or bentonite or charcoal clay I take a mixture of all three every single night with a big glass of water and plenty of water all through the day just to keep my body system clean IMAX all three of the clays together and take a heaping teaspoon every other night.

I had a totally different experience. Been using a couple of grams a day for almost 10 years without any issues. It keeps me calm, even keeled with reduced back ache due to my office job sitting all day long. Like all drugs, kratom is subjective, it could make some people loopy while others well. Even sugar is additive if misused, as they say, to each their own. It has mild effects, nowhere near hard opiates, heroin, etc, not even near those, even if taken in large amounts it will just make one nauseous. One person's bad experience shouldn't make a mild and useful natural substance illegal for all others. IMO

I do not know about everyone else, but this stuff is literally killing me. I have been taking it for six years. I got off of it for quite a few months, and then I relapsed because the paws was horrible, and I couldn’t handle it anymore. It literally has me suicidal. I want to stop, and I know I’m going to have to or I’m going to pay the ultimate price. I don’t care what other people say …Kratom is addictive and it does something to your brain chemistry. I DO NOT want it banned, because it is better than being on fentanyl, heroin or even prescription opiates. It has actually helped a lot of people. I have a very addictive personality. I feel hopeless. Most of everyone around me doesn’t know what I’m dealing with. I have been so blessed by God with a family and a good career, home and other blessings. I’m able to function with a Kratom addiction. I just am not the same person I used to be. I get horrible mood swings out of nowhere. I get irritated so easily. I literally hate the mirror. If you are a Christian please pray for James in East Texas. I’m not one to ever ask for help or tell my problems, but I’m desperate. It has its hooks in me and I’m so tired of it. I definitely know there are people who can use this responsibly… I’m not able to. Just like alcohol I never stop at a moderate amount. I’m abusing it. Just be safe and don’t look at this stuff as a joke. Thank you for this video and the others you have made about kratom. God bless.

What sucks is tianepatine is usually right next kratom these days and sold as a stronger alternative. as far as kratom I'm very split on this ,with almost as many positives as harsh realities that its definitely been addictive, and all the negatives you could expect. It has helped. It has been super habitual in its formation. What bothers me is the downplayed,but ultimately brutal withdrawl . it doesn't mean its all on kratom.its us. Seems by keeping it light and alternate strain schedule and avoidance of the super potent shots that can be 6x dose . its definitely made my body different. And recently stopped for three days,and it was brutal. But it will save lives. I can't imagine how many fentanyl deaths have been averted. We just need education, some more will power,and support

Thank you so very much for sharing your experience, strength and hope for a future in sobriety and also for addressing both sides of the issue with your clear opinions. I’m very glad that you are there for people who may need a friend, an advocate who has a similar story and can see your journey. My best wishes for you and your future! I only have one suggestion - please try not to think about whether or not a person has an “addictive personality”, but rather as addiction as a medical (mental and physical) disease. I know what you meant and I’ve said it myself in the past; however, to recover, I needed to simultaneously treat my body, mind and my spirit / energy / soul. You mentioned that when you talked about placing a bandage over feelings and mental health issues and I feel you really understand the whole picture. I’m cautious about the “personality” word because I never want anyone to feel that they are beyond help or hope because they are just made broken. I felt that way for years - like I was beyond help because I just came out wrong. You spread help and hope in your video and I hope and pray that you make many, many more! ❤️

It has now gotten to the point where I feel like I can’t even get through my day without having it in my system. It’s gotten to the point where I’m on the verge of getting a divorce..losing my kids..possible my house. It took over my life. I lost my job. It really changed me as a person and it’s the biggest regret I have in life. It’s hard to try and get off of it because I’ve been doing it for so long. The only constant has been God. Always been there, never judged me, and I finally feel I can let go and fully give it to Him. If you need the help, get it. If you feel you can get off yourself, do it. Just ask yourself, is this hurting me or helping me? If the answer is the former, don’t stop till the Kratom’s gone my friend or everything else will be. That’s the reality of addiction. I hope and pray for the best for you Travis!

thank you for sharing this. i've only been taking it for about 2 years now and intermittently: 10 grams at most, and maybe a few times a month. a friend told me about it because it helped him kick opiates. i suffer from ptsd, my panic attacks are intense, and most days i have a moderate to high level of anxiety. thankfully i never developed an addiction to anything, and i dont like to self medicate although i'm guilty of trying (alcohol mostly), but this is the first substance that has shut off the voices in my head and changed my thought process about what triggers me. the effect for me is immediate so i can see the allure to take more/more often. im working with a therapist and he knows about the kratom, and knows i do not want anymore prescription drugs. i'll most likely keep taking it, but you've answered a few of my questions and you've shown me what the path looks like so i can avoid it. good luck brother. i really hope you are doing better.

Thank you for your input. I've been struggling with addiction for years. Amfetamine, alcohol and opioids. Two years ago, I decided to go for full sobriety. I went through a ten week detox under the supervision of a physician in a hospital. This because I was on suboxone for almost five years and it really took a lot to get off. But I managed. And I stayed sober for 1.5 years. Than I start taking kratom. It's precisely how you describe it your story. It's been a few months now that I take kratom on a daily basis. It does a lot for me but I'm beginning to also see how I'm getting myself into addiction again. So my plan is to taper of very slowly. Yet I'm afraid for that same hel I've went trough getting of of suboxone. Again thank you for your story

I found K absolutely NOT addictive and very mild, It helps to stay awake, increase mental performance and reduce pain if any, as it is actually from Coffee family, and it have very similar effect... Does Coffee makes you "high"? I don't know, maybe, if you drink like 3 gallons of it.. :))) Same here.. In terms of a "high" K less effective than light beer, unless like this guy, eat half a kilo at ones and blame K for "hair loss", which is nonsense,. because K is powerful antioxidant too.. It helps many to quit Alcohol intake and Smoking, I cannot say about drugs, as I never take them.. So, NO K is not a f* drug, unless you eat a Kilo at ones, then Coffee is drug too.. You get the point.. Otherwise like SOPRANO's says: "There is no chemical solution for your psychiatric problems".. We can drink to that.. Much love.. Stay healthy.. Cheers..

I had no idea it was contributing to my hair loss and adrenal fatigue. I've been weaning off it myself for a few months now as it is becoming illegal in Louisiana soon. There are horror stories of people facing 10+ years in prison for being caught with kratom in Mississippi and Arkansas. It is being labeled as a scheduled 1 synthetic drug. So the penalties are equivalent to meth charges.

After I quit for about 2 months, my hairline started coming back, my skin stopped looking greasy and gross, and my quick wit and social motivation started coming back. Kratom takes that away so gradually over time that you don’t notice it’s happening. It did help me so much with concentrating at work and I’m still struggling to focus without it. It made me a worker bee.
@sarpsays

This is the thing. It's extremely effective at making you a worker bee. But goddamn if it's not the most sinister compound in that way, it steals your soul. It's an opioid with antipsychotic properties, honestly I'm surprised governments aren't forcing people on it... But yeah, it's an amazing feeling to regain your soul and feel emotions again after kratom.

Just a follow up, I got back on it for a bit but quit 4 months ago (mid-December) and feeling great. I don't miss it at all and have my focus back. In fact, the thought of Kratom makes me kinda queasy now. I think part of the key to success is being ready to quit, and just because you might have failed before does not mean it will be as hard to try again! Just keep trying, don't beat yourself up if you slip and remember that you WILL BE FREE AND BACK TO 100% eventually if you keep working on it. Also, I quit my old job and took a less demanding job - if you need kratom to get through your day, that may be a sign you need to make a change in your life. I get paid slightly less now, but I'm immeasurably more happy and healthy. Your health is more important than a few extra bucks, don't be afraid to scale back on the demands in your life. Much love to you all.

I also call on my higher self whenever I need that extra self discipline.

My doseage climbed fast and now I'm hooked. Every time I back off my mind goes dark and the restless arms kick in and I can't make it past 24hrs... I have a kratom store a half a mile from my home. Thing is I'm a family man with kids and a loving wife and I know this stuff is changing me because I am an addict with an addictive personality. I'm obsessed with this crap. Contemplating on going to my wife, tossing in my clean time and going to detox. After my disease is arrested only then is my recovery possible.... I relate to everything you said at the moment. THANK YOU for bringing awareness of these facts. I am down to 33 grams a day from 50 a day and its not as rough as ones brain will tell you. I notice that whenever I i don't plan well that I can run out and not be home and I always expect it to be absolute hell, but its not as bad as I think its going to be. The mental struggle is so real. If I didn't have to work and provide for my family I woulds just cold turkey and be done with it. I wish I had never found it on some days but then on other days I am still grateful for it. I was a Heavy Heavy drinking, pill abuser and I have almost 6 years sober from alcohol and don't mess with anything else besides the K. I just wish I could get away from it for good. It's so interesting to see and hear all of the different attitudes and side-effects that different people experience from Kratom. I've been going down the rabbit hole by watching a lot of videos on Kratom abuse as I've recently come to realize that I am Kratom dependent. I started using it about 5 years ago to deal with a ruptured disc and a torn left shoulder labrum. My experience with it is it works better than coffee in the morning in regards to mental alertness and better focus for work. It does help dull the pain I experience in my back and shoulder. Not as good as maybe ibuprofen or an opioid, but we all know the terrible side effects of constant use of those drugs. I find my self more motivated to want to do things I love, like paint, draw, play guitar. Be more creative than when I'm not on it. But, there are the negatives. Like, I get really bad restless joints throughout my body when I don't take it for about 6-7 hours. So bad, it will keep up ALL night. This is how I know my body is now dependent on regular intake of Kratom. Long story short, I truly seems like a persons individual biology will determine how Kratom will affect them. There is no umbrella statement anyone can make on how it will affect everyone.

It was much easier for me to wean myself off of kratom than anything my doc prescribed. I am 100% with you, it should be legal. My sister is addicted to sugar and caffeine, and this is just accepted in our society, despite the health consequences. I dont think kratom is super dangerous for the average person, as long as they are informed to not take it daily. But maybe for weekend use only, and pls stop and think if you are going above 15-20 grams per day for long time. Then it will give you bad wd, obviously. Thanks for sharing

The first 3-4 days is not fun at all. Can't sleep, can't get comfortable. I got severely emotional as well. After about 2 weeks all of discomfort went away. If you're looking to quit, there are plenty of YT videos like this one to help motivate you. I went cold-turkey after about a kilo every 2 weeks so my experience might have been harsher than others. If you can, find some weed to lessen the intensity of the withdrawals. After I quit I told my dad and my boss what I went through. Holy hell if you don't want to feel like a POS do not, and I repeat DO NOT tell anyone about your experience that you know doesn't have an empathetic heart. My dad wouldn't stop reminding me of it and treated me like I was a meth addict. My boss fired me, even though I was clean. I also have a messed-up ankle from breaking it 3 years ago but didn't go to the Dr. for treatment cuz I didn't want to take opiates. Needless to say I started a job that took a heavy physical toll on my messed-up ankle so I did start using it again. Honestly don't think I could ever get off it again because of it. I have learned to be a lot more responsible with it. I do think it's a lot better to take that than any opiate a Dr. would prescribe, but if I didn't have the constant pain I would stop. Good luck to you no matter what path you take. If you need any support, don't hesitate to respond. You've got someone responding that understands everything someone might go through when trying to stop. Much love to ya.

I'm absolutely sick of Krarom. I have huge mood swings and I can't seem to stop. It's the worse withdrawal pain I've ever experienced. It's worse than getting off of oxycodone. Waaaay worse. I've been on it for five years and I'm absolutely miserable. I hate whoever tries to support it because it's a nasty cycle. All that it's like a cup of coffee BS is exactly that. B.S.

Firstly I just wanna acknowledge how cool you look bro, Hair is majestic. Your story and everything you said in this video I relate to a lot. I too train jiu-jitsu and muay thai, And we kind of started the whole kratom journey the same way. I have struggled with addiction a little bit, started with pain meds, moved to other drugs later and some a little too extreme for me to even want to mention but I never was very strongly addicted to anything because I got bored of everything. I never had a problem getting off really any drug UNTIL Kratom. Kratom is probably the hardest substance to move on from that i have taken. I started taking it to relieve some of my anxiety and it worked (for a short time) later i started noticing how much of a chokehold this stuff had on me and the changes it was making to my body everyday. But the whole time taking it, I tried justifying it. Its just a plant, Its legal, Its not really a "drug". All lies man, this stuff is just as bad as anything else. Ive done a lot man, This is very much the same as the others and it will sneak you. I was waking up later than I used to, I felt like shit every morning, I was slower than normal, Hair loss like you said and the list goes on. I finally got to the point where i was able to taper down and get off but soon later I was taking small doses here and there, micro-dosing if you will. I do plan on getting off of it for good again soon but I have had such a problem in the past with prescription meds that i am scared to start taking anything else other than this but also hoping to not go off track with it again. It's a battle brother, I appreciate this video a lot. You seem like a good dude and best of luck to you in all your endeavors. Much Love

What you need to work on is the reason why you needed to chase a high. If it wasn't kratom it would be something else.

Thank you for your story. I just tried it recently and like you said, it felt like: "This is the way I need to feel." I felt so excited because I have depressive bouts and I was hoping I could do something about it without doctors or health insurance. Today I feel miserable. I don't know if it's like the stark comparison of bliss vs. everyday crap and it didn't help that it was cloudy/rainy all day. Anyway, I better stay away from this stuff. I've heard good things about kava. My main problem is anxiety. I would like to feel okay around people instead of being scared all the time. Anyway, life is a journey, right? Thanks for your input.

❤Thankyou for your video. Thanks for giving credit to our Lord and Savoir!❤❤❤! I take kratom for back pain because doctors are afraid to prescribe anything that works. I try to stay in shape, I go to the gym 5 days a week. I eat as healthy as I can afford. Doctors hands are tied,and pharmacist sometimes override the doctors and sometimes refuse to fill prescriptions. I pray for your continued success and health,and guess I should quit kratom. I only take 6 grams a day max,usually less. God Bless you ❤. Thanks again my brother in Christ!❤❤❤!!

I’ve been using feel free for almost a year to stop alcohol. It worked, but than got hooked on it. Knew nothing about Kratom, I thought the main ingredient was Kava. Stopped and had serious withdrawals. Been back on it. 2-4 bottles a day. Tapering off now. I used to feel amazing when I used it at night. Now I feel dizzy and sick. Use it in the morning at work, afternoon and evening to not shake. I hate it. Depressed. Angry it’s not working. Also, I haven’t told my wife that I’m hooked on this stuff (hiding my purchases of the stuff on a credit card) and it’s making me feel horrible, dead inside. Her mother is dying and I don’t want to burden her anymore than she already is, but I don’t have friends or family to talk to, so thank you for this video and these comments. Keep up the sobriety guys. I should be done with it by next week. Pray for me.

I’ve tried stopping kratom several times. I’m not necessarily addicted to it. I normally take it when I go out here and there, but I do find that sometimes I can fall into doing it a whole week, but I usually take a clean break when that happens for about a month or 2. I’d like to stop in permanently though

I have been using it for almost a year. My daily usage is little under 30 grams… At first i started using it for school tests (learning), but it turned into addiction. I don’t even know how to stop, the withdrawals/cravings are too strong. Feels like my heart is going to explode.

How long were you on suboxone before switching to kratom. Subs are evil when addicted to it. Worst shit I’ve ever withdrew from. Took months to get off it. Kratom helped me get off something that was screwing me up bad.

I’m thinking about starting Kratom for long term sub use. I listen to your story and many more just like yours. I heard low dose kratom is helpful and the important thing to remember is don’t take enough to get that high feeling that will make you want more. Find and stick to a dose that just keeps the withdrawals under control. I heard that’s the key with kratom do not take enough for that high. If you do that’s when it can become a problem and you start chasing that high. But like you said it works for some and destroys others. I have tapered my subs from 16mg down to almost 2.5mg a day since April. But some days I still have that problem with wanting to take more but with God and a good family backing I have stayed at 2.5mg. Your story was great and I think I will stay away from Kratom and continue my tapering. Thanks man you may have just saved me from a deeper black hole because I do have an addictive personality.
@gimmeyoursnacks

Hey my friend, I appreciate you reaching out! Yeah it can definitely be a slippery slope, especially when it comes to those of us with addictive personalities. Keep the taper going! Is it possible to taper even smaller than 2.5mg? The less you have at the end before jumping the better. You got this! God's got you! God Bless you and your family!

@cubensis7706 No, he doesn't. Suboxone is prescribed at 16 mg max for opiates typically.
@thatguy1729

I jumped off at 1mg. Its fucking hell. I'm using lower dose kratom for two weeks then stopping that. If you can do it without kratom, I commend that. Suboxone withdrawal is no joke. The best way is to taper to .25mg or lower. Then skip days.

75 year old sober from alcohol for 35 yrs, but have “dabbled” in some other stuff, and rationalize that at least I’m not drinking. “Discovered” Kratom this year. Capsules. Probably use no more than 10 grams on an average day. Works really well for old man pain, lowers anxiety, mild stimulant. Really worry about increased tolerance and the addictive pull of any drug though, and I appreciate the video and comments very much…

I found your channel while searching quitting kratom years ago. Unfortunately, I am still using it. I used to be so outgoing but now have bad social anxiety. Did you experience this and if so did it subside when you quit? Thank you J

I noticed the same thing. Naturally an outgoing person (at least that’s what others say), I noticed myself getting really bad social anxiety which again was very abnormal for me. Decided that using more Kratom would help when in reality it only made it worse. Quitting for the last time. I know you can too!

I got where I just did not feel inclined to leave the house or visit friends. It changed my personality, I typically joke around and like making people laugh, but after being on kratom for years I was dull - I felt dull, I was dull. It took about 2 months after quitting before I became myself again

See that's the issue, you mentioned tolerance was building and you were taking more then 10 grams per day and then tapered down to 10 grams per day, I 've been using Kratom for 6 years now (since 2017) at about 4 grams per day and take it for 4 reasons: 1) diabetes (yes it drops sugar level so I use way less insulin) 2) depression (it does boost mood, one of the tricks to avoid tolerance build up is to use it with magnesium). 3) pain management (after surgery every so often a person can really feel those screws in their bone and kratom helps with that) 4) RLS (restless leg syndrome, had it way before I started taking kratom, it's like this uncontrollable urge to move your legs when you're laying down and nothing helped, I even bough one of those yoga needle mats so I could somehow quiet it down by standing on it, that didn't really help kratom eliminated RLS 100%). So to sum it up, if using it responsibly and taking bakes every now and then, it absolutely helps.

Facts. I tried getting off twice with support of my wife and even took off work to focus only on that. I relapsed again and will try again asap. Felt horrible and even sleeping hard. Felt so gross. I’m not against it but I do think it needs to be very clear about physical addiction and issues after you try and stop.

I've been taking it for over 10 years now and have been using it daily for the past 5-6 years. I've settled into a routine of consuming about 2kg per month. I don't really measure the dosage either. Basically, I take a heaping tablespoon and drink it with warm tap water. Naturally, I would experience withdrawal symptoms if I stopped. I don't drink alcohol or use other drugs. Regarding hair loss, I've read about it but haven't experienced any negative effects myself, being in my mid-30s now. It actually fits quite well into my daily life. I'm quite successful in my career, and paying over 5k € per year for it is not an issue for me. But yes, I am slowly starting to consider how I can reduce or completely stop using it. I don't even know what it feels like to be without it.

I didn’t realize the long term effects until my local supplier ran out during covid. The withdrawals didn’t start to kick my ass for 3-4 days but when it did is when I realized how addicted I had gotten after only one year. I woke up with restless nerves and thought I was having a heart attack and was sweating and felt cramps.since then in 2020, I strictly use it short term and when absolutely necessary for like a bad tooth ache etc., and only buy 1-3 grams at a time of the dried leaf.
