another thing about the beet shield that you forgot to mention! the list of chemical filters, especially UVA filters, approved in the US is very limited and hasn’t been updated in a while. so, the beet shield can’t even be FDA approved because the UV filters used in it are too advanced for US markets, lol

Exaxtly. But korean subscreens are better for people who are darker then white skin. Because it doesn' leave a white cast whereas almost sll americsn sunscreens leave a white cast.

Krave Beauty is the brand I have seen the best results from in the shortest amount of time, which is saying something because I've been super into skincare for ~7 years. LOVE the matcha hemp cleanser, but i live in LA and my skin type is "normal" to slightly dry so I see better results from hydrating cleansers in this desert climate.

Mariam Jo Matcha is a green tea. They listed it as it’s scientific name “camellia sinensis” in the ingredient list :)

Omg is it actually moisturizing? 🥺 i have a very very dry skin and cant switch from my simple micellar gel wash, but i ran out one, it's sold out everywhere 😫 do you thing this cleanser would work for me?

I've tried the Krave cleanser and also their sunscreen and I really really like them. Just one bottle/tube of cleanser lasted for about 6 months and it's so good, it's the best cleanser I've ever tried. The sunscreen is very different from what I've tried before because it gives you a glowing look, kinda like a glass skin effect and it absolutely works, it protects my face from harsh sunlight and it doesn't irritate my eyes. I haven't tried the other 2 Krave products, but I'm excited to see if they work for me 😊🤞🏽

Laura Gill I have oily, acne prone, EXTREMELY sensitive skin and this is the only face wash I want to use for the rest of my life. It’s a gel so it does foam and actually makes your skin feel clean, but it’s so rich that it doesn’t at all dry your skin out (even though every other gel cleanser I’ve tried has) and has never irritated my skin. It also just had a wonderful luxurious texture. I can’t recommend it enough.

Been using The Beet Shield since Liah got it to the US. I will never use anything else. Even my 8 y/o uses it before school. ( rec is war lol) Start them young! Love liah and this brand.

I was looking forward to this video so much! Hyram, you should definitely try etude house's soon jung line. It is specifically for sensitive acne prone skin and has no fragrance or essential oils. I am genuinely in love with their barrier cream. I had been traveling a lot and my skin broke out so bad, and that moisturizer helped calm it down so much ❤️❤️❤️

@@skylarvaldes1087 To be honest, I don't really see any cons. The price point is good and I found no problematic ingredients. Their stuff is just super hydrating and gentle. Yet to try the toner, but the cleanser, 2x barrier cream, sleeping pack and sheet mask are all really great at doing this. They're just really great at calming down your skin

I bought krave beauty cleanser after watching hyram review. I'm 19yrs old and i used to have closed comedones and sensitive combination skin. This cleanser is so amazing . But i really love krave beauty cleanser. It's just 2days i used krave beauty cleanser. But it really calm my skin redness (my cheek and my skin look like fresh)I really love krave beauty. I used to watch hyram channel since i'm new to skincare. Past, i used skincare wrongly. so, it cases my skin breakout but i almost recover now. I'm so excited to use krave beauty great barrier relief and exfoliating toner because cleanser is so hype 💥 i bought Great barrier relief and used it after watching my RU-vid review . I used it for 2 week . It's the best serum i've ever used

Great Barrier relief cured my dermatitis (heat rash?) that I had last summer. It also kept my skin hydrated throughout the whole winter. I highly recommend that you get it too!

I had horrible hormonal acne and very very sensitive skin. The cleanser didn't fix it but it was the LITERAL only thing I could find that didn't make it worse. When I finally bit the bullet and got a prescription for my acne, the matcha hemp hydrating cleanser remained my faithful friend and helped clear my skin up. It's been three years and I still swear by this stuff

If your new hear 1: We Stan the ordinary, the inky list, youth to the people,cerea VE, and krave beauty. 2: We dislike Mario badescu, clean and clean , must of neutrogena products, most of tatcha products and other brands who use fragrance 3: fragrance is a BIG no. It can can cause many problems 4: Mario badescu is just fragrance in water 5: make up wipes do more harm than good ( for your skin and the environment) 6: double cleanse if you wear makeup 7: chemical exfoliating is way better than phisical exfoliating 8: everyone’s skin is different 9: everyone needs to moisturize 10: use what works for you 11: fragrance is fine in a wash off treatment 12: be gentle with your skin Hope this was informative. Tell me in the comments some more things I forgot

the GBR is a dreeeaaaaam for my redness!! i use it morning and night and it reduces so much of the redness around my acne & helps alleviate the look of my post-inflammatory erythema 😍😍😍 i think it’s helping to protect my skin from general irritation as well. i agree with you, i’m so in love with it!

I’m so glad you did this video! Liah is such a skincare beast! Which I know is contradictory because she’s a sweetheart lol. But she’s just so knowledgeable and is really good at breaking down everything (so are you, much love for you as well lol). Can you do a review on Centella Asciatica? Or Madecassiside (maybe A’pieu?) They’re really great skincare ingredients, but I’d really like to know your thoughts on them

@@elonmusk921 agree! tatcha is over priced and overhyped... people are paying a lot for fragrant skin care that does more damage than good. 😕 Drunk Elephant contains skin loving ingredients and I enjoy their products - but no reason to pay that much when there are more affordable options that are just as good. (i.e. Cerave, Cosrx, Paula's Choice, etc)

I remember you were talking about video ideas, so some that I have are: 1) All about Accutane & products to use on it (I have a list that I made of products I used that I can share too!) 2) Showering and Skin Care (like the right order to avoid breaking out, etc) 3) Things that Might Be Breaking You Out (like a pillow case, towels, etc)

Interesting to hear the experience of someone with oily skin with this line, guess Krave has everyone covered lol. Also, I love that you emphasize hydration despite being oily as its unfortunately a common mistake that hydration and oily skin need to be mutually exclusive.

i just found you and i love your content!! krave beautys serum is my ride or die its literally life changing. my skin went from dry, red and raw to actual skin like with more hydration and lesser breakouts. they are launching an oat moisturiser with less than 10 ingredients (!!!) in oct I CANT WAIT

When will the brand make these products available to Canada. We aren’t that far from the US and easy enough for companies to either ground or air ship products here. We have so many stores here that sell K beauty including nature republic and innisfree and some smaller independent shops. So I was hoping to be able to try krave beauty but what’s the point if I can’t get my hands on it easily to repurchase if I end up loving it.

Obviously not Hyram here, but I have a feeling he does not like it, because unfortunately their products are full of natural fragrance, like fuuuuuull of of it. They don't even scare away from using the most irritating ones like citrus and lavender. :/

I’ve been using Tamanu oil for 6 years, now. I wish I feel the same way as you do about its scent. Regardless, I love tamanu oil (organic and cold-pressed in amber glass jars) that much to endure its scent. It definitely has beautiful healing properties. I do love using organic and cold-pressed rose-hip oil, too.

I really love krave beauty products that I even have all 5 of their products. I've been really loving their products especially the kale-lalu-yAHA exfoliating toner and great barrier relief serum. OMG these two products have been working wonders on my skin especially the latter, as I can see my skin clearing up specifically redness and blemishes. As for the remaining products, the cleanser is really gentle and not stripping on my combination skin, the oat so simple cream is really a fuss free and moisturising cream I really need to end my night routine. Beet the shield sunscreen is so light and and the best part is that it doesn't make my face feel like a grease ball in the afternoon, which I feel majority of the sunscreen I have tried does to me, and ends up clogging my pores.

I feel like their products are super gimmicky and full of ingredients not really proven to do anything (but thats just my opinion). Brands like Krave Beauty, The Ordinary, or several Korean brands might give you more bang for your buck.

Few years ago, I was only into organic natural skin care. So I bought kora organics Noni glow oil, Noni glow eye oil and tinted moisturiser. Spend nearly 200 AUD and it did nothing for my skin. Now I use some Korean skin care products , retin-A, ordinary resveratrol serum, vit C powder and niacinamide 10% . If you have extra money I think it's wise to spend on a good vit C serum like medik8 or skinceuticals and buy a retin-A or retinol cream. Add a SPF 50 Korean sun cream like cos rx or etude house sunprise. I think that's all you need. I was a person who would make my own cream from coconut oil and beeswax. But my skin got ruined going all natural. Drunk elephant would be a good brand if you want to be in the safe side and still could get great results, but pricey too..:-)

I bought the Kora Orgaincs mini set of the cream clenser, mist and moisturizer and let me tell you, it was extremely underwhelming. They did absolutely nothing for my skin. The products I tried were very average, if that. I would have been very upset have I spent $100 buying the full size products. 100% it is unfortunately not worth the price.

They actually teach you what the packaging is made of and how to recycle it and they’re honest/transparent in simple words. i purchased the full set and just yesterday i tried it, man, you really something, the cleanser is amazing since my skin is combination, the spf is super amazing, and so is the barrier, the only concern is about the barrier, its smell is just too much fenugreek which is quite awful so i can't wear it at work because of the smell but for it's benefit i just can't complain at all. Man this brand is a MUST to anyone who loves their skin, so i have added KRAVE long side with Sensai, and Lancome absolue line, and i have eliminated LA Prairie, and La Mer, really worth it's price. Thank you Hyram.

@@janitajasmin Just make sure to pay with PayPal, so that if you haven't received your product, you can claim back your money. I also look at sellers that have no less than 4.5 stars. What you should also keep in mind is that the packaging is in Korean, since most sellers get their products from there, and that they're slightly more expensive. I hope I could help you a little :)

Yea its just being careful, I'm in the uk and get them through ebay and they are the same as the real thing, mine comes from korea and I've had no problems. If I find a good seller I stick with them.
