@@JasonNguyen that's life aye, but as you said there may be someone else that would fulfil you dream by installing the SC onto their 250 and probably do something different in a way.. For me back then the is250 was my first dream car. I wasn't in it for the power, it was the look of it and the 07 model when I first one of my school mate borrowed it from his brother for year 12 formal. It was lowered and on some chrome wheels. My cousin also had an is250 and it was sc as well. It was some custom sc.. RR sc was definitely not around. Anyways long story short, the first F sport series 2 caught my attention with the semi sport like the grille and duck spoiler.. series 3 of the 2is f sport was the one I really wanted but that time it was out of my budget so I bought the 07 with F sport style grille will some mods like coils and some other minor cosmetic parts from ebay. Turns out it was a lemon. Lol I'd spent alot of money and I mean crazy money to give it a new life new look as I didn't want to give up on it. I'll try and keep it as long as I can but nothing is guaranteed as the more we grow the more we think differently. Overall Jason, thank you for your valued time to create content to keep someone like myself entertained... I do rewatch your earlier videos as well. I can never get bored of them videos. Whatever you do always remember be happy with yourself as it's very important.

@JasonNguyen I feel you, I'm looking gs350 and all I want is basic intake, headers and nice exhaust and everything else is exterior mods. These lexus can see 400-500k miles on original motor and transmission. A lot of youtuber don't show the bad side of modding a car and most of the big channels have a team working on the cars all the time.

I got quoted by one of your reps for over $2000 and I would have to drive or trailer my car 6+ hours to you😅 I ultimately decided not to move forward with it because the supercharger from RR isn’t the best kit anyways. There were a lot of gimmicks that I didn’t like.

@JasonNguyen it will be my fun car and I will only do a few mods. but still wouldn't do a supercharger or turbo. I LOVE the idea but definitely don't want the headaches they come with.

The only thing you can really do is FBO. Which is intake, FULL exhaust, and tune. And that’ll probably give you about +25 hp😂. There’s a hybrid turbo out there but it’s expensive and difficult to find. Idk if they even make it anymore. The 200t has absolutely 0 potential to make more power😔

Oh that would be sick! Honestly, he didn’t even sell anything besides the Supercharger so he still has the car & it looks the same! It just doesn’t have the SC! He sold it because he needed money. His wife is in a nursing program so he’s taking on all the bills and working OT all the time. Plus he doesn’t drive the car that much.

And yeah I got quoted over $2k from Loi and I would have to drive my car 7 hours away or trailer it haha. Def not worth it. I got the SC for $3,000 and it would’ve costed another $3k just to get everything done and dialed in. And I just didn’t really want to move forward with it. I know I’m going to run into ALOT of issues.. I’ve spoken to Marty motoring and most of the supercharged IS community and ultimately, it just didn’t seem worth it to me anymore

Hahaha I wish! I strongly considered that back in the day but after seeing my friend spend like $40k on his swap with all the baller parts, turbo, motec, injectors, etc, I was like I’m good haha.

Still will have terrible reliability and even worse transmission slips and issues than a supercharged 250😅

It already sold! It would’ve been too much for too little. Sure I could make the money back from RU-vid and such over time but it wasn’t really about the money or content. I wanted the boosty sounds and honestly, after re-evaluating, talking to RR, I decided against it. Plus there were a few gimmicks I didn’t like about RR’s kit.

I absolutely hate how the ISF looks inside and out so that’s not an option😅
