This is a hot take. My favorite part of ROR is getting hyped for someone I learned about in History class fight a god. That’s why I love Tesla, Leonidas, Anubis, and Susanoo because they have name recognition! I don’t care about Okita Souji at all and I the author bias makes it even worse He is the first human in the series I am actually hoping he loses
I can’t get over it I don’t care if the author had a previous manga about Okita Souji. There is a reason Record of Ragnarok is popular and no one knows the name of whatever manga Okita was in. It’s because thats fucking boring and Record of Ragnarok is a original concept that is easy to read and easy to get hyped for. It became an international success because everyone in the world recognizes the names
Sasaki Kojiro has been watching all the fights and probably fighting everyone in his mind. I wouldn’t be suprised if by the end of record of ragnarok if kojiro is on the same level as Odin

Please don't say that. I don't believe Rapsutin will be physically powerful but his hacks will be insane. I have a feeling it will have something to do with regeneration and maybe something else especially if he fights Anubis. I need Rasputin to get a W in this series. They already did both Leonidas and Tesla super dirty especially Leonidas

I am hoping the author does literally the opposite and undermines our expectations. Sasake had the opposite of hype and he’s now top of the verse. Okita has been given panels left and right with tons of opportunities to make us like the character and I still hope he gets dunked on.
few hot take: Sasaki is kinda over scaled (not over rated) ,since Posidon repertoire of attacks can be boiled down to "really fast stabbing" is literally a god that refuses to change is RoR, and against opponents with more tricks up their sleeves he would not be able to achieve his "omnipotent prediction" state. Opponents like Jack, Bhudda, Shiva, Apollo and to a lesser extent Zero/Hajun would be able to get the kill off before he can completely out predict them. Also meta Theory, but Leo died cause the author saw how popular Simo was and originally Simo was supposed to die, so they swapped wins/loses. This would explain why Leo Vs Apollo felt so short and rushed.

RoR vs JJK would be dope give us Shiva vs Sukuna. Four eyes and four arms, a knack for destruction and punching people REALLY hard. (Also I don’t read JJK but I saw a panel of Sukuna with a trident so like both characters potentially are based off the Hindu god Shiva???)
Also for Susano'o his weapon is insane mut mjolrnir didnt need to have its user thor wear the Gloves to properly wield mjolrnir. Mjolrnir needed them to protect itself from thor beyond awakening. Goes to show Thor is probably also a god who deserves every feat he has and might genuinelly be top 3 god
For people who are downplaying hades by saying "He doesn't have an op ability" I want to ask them- What was Poseidon's ability? What was Zeus's ability? What was Thor's ability? What is Susanoo's ability? Tbh all these guys are doing is pretty much swing their weapons or just have absurd strength,And Hades is one of the best in both of the categories.

Said this before and will say it again since you brought up whether Thor's attack was stronger than Hades's. Thor's attack went up against an attack that split the heavens without a Volundr. That was an absolutely insane fear by Lu Bu. Add in the power of a Valkyrie and the Sky Eater becomes an absolute menace. Thor met this attack with one that smashed through it AND took no damage. Yeah, Thor's Hammer attack is stronger by leaps and bounds. He would crush Huang
Its possible they rework hades vs qin in the anime, with same outcome but giving Hades more glory. Its weird he has so much hype for nothing to show really. He has probably one of the greatest feats depending how you rank the titans
People hard downplaying Leonidas (and not Apollo for some reason? but he should be in the same sphere as Leo) but it really was just cuz the fight began and ended in like 5 or 6 chapters. Backstories included. The characters were fine, but for some reason they made the full round itself have less dedicated chapters than Beelzebub's backstory.
I have a hot take - Ares will, eventually, sooner or later, prove that he's on par,surpasses or is only inferior to Zeus in terms of overall combat prowess. The reason why? Ares IS The god of war. All of conflict, all of competition, all of fighting and all of combat is his lifeblood. It is what he thrives on, it is what empowers his existence. Even taken from mythology, Ares is not only the most powerful offspring of Zeus but also considered powerful enough to stand toe-to-toe, shoulder-to-shoulder with his father and his uncles as the 4 most powerful Olympians. And he's also the most daring one out of all the Gods to attempt to overthrow Zeus as the Ruler Of Olympus more than once. We have seen all three Olympian brothers in action, win or lose, we did see their best. Ares, regardless of how much of a wimp and a simp he's portrayed as since the beginning still IS an Olympian. In Greek mythology, he's easily stronger than Apollo, Helius, Hermes and other gods who are sons of Zeus , Poseidon or Hades. So this is why i feel my theory can end up coming true more likely than not. This is what i feel is going to happen. In one of the fights leading up to the ‘Last Boss Fight’ of the series, cud even be the penultimate fight, Ares will finally come to the battlefield. He'll be egged and ordered by his fellow surviving Gods, to do the least and represent the Gods in the fight, regardless of the outcome, with several prominent members even thinking that he's going down easy. The Human's side or whoever the enemy is will grossly underestimate him. And it'll be the same with the vast majority of the fandom, many will believe he's no good. Until the actual fight starts and when he's pressured or on the verge of defeat, he'll show WHY he rivals the three Olympian brothers in strength and that show of power will send a statement to all who witness it . And I feel that ability of his will be something akin to Adam's Divine Reflection but instead of Adam able to copy physical moves and abilities, Ares can assimilate and unleash potentially EVERY single arsenal, Volunds, and Divine Weapons with the complete knowledge on how to use those weapons to their fullest combat potential. This ability will be very similar in looks and function to Gilgamesh 's Gate Of Babylon from the Nasuverse. Because all weapons are made with the intention of fighting, and fighting is War. And war is Ares. It doesn't matter how esoteric or exclusive the divine weapons wielded were, they were all intended to fight and hence it automatically become Ares's right to command them. And he will always know more than their wielders on how to use every one of those weapons to their fullest extent. And all this boost in power will be there because the enemy will be equally or even more formidable than Ares, so as to balance the fight, and not make it one sided in the other's favor.
6:30 gotta disagree there, qin is quicker, he doesn’t need to clash, he can just cut thor in half. Unless Qin messes around and gets a direct hit on him by thor, he is not losing
Thor hammer is probably the most destructive weapon of the series and nothing can break it. Most of the time in the series when characters about to be lost their weapon is the one to break first

I really dont think qe saw everything Poseidon could do in his fight with Kojiro. Bro is the god of the sea and never used water in his attacks once. I feel like his arrogance made him hold back even as things got dire cause from his POV he never felt hed have to try against a human. He was supposed to be perfect from the start, his own words. He is my favorite so maybe Im bias, but I like that he's as mean to other gods as he is to humans. Him shutting up everyone with a glance over his shoulder was awesome to me
I’ve had something similar to that on my mind for ages. How tf does the god of the sea lose to a guy with insane predictions when you can match that by potentially drowning him? Get inside his head and fuck him up! That L would have been so much more epic. Same with Hades.. no River Styx, no Cerberus, no army of the dead vs that cool ass emperor guy etc. They still had to lose no doubt but c’mon!
great video, but Beelzebub wanted to die but cannot, because he has curse who force him to fight with all his abilities. He's nerfed because he didn't has his weapon, and Hades no diff him, so I think than current Beelzebub vs Hades would be an extreme diff for one of them. (I think Hades take the W anyways)
