Tim and Renee are a thru hiker couple who dehydrates all their own meals for hiking, shipping it to themselves. They wrote a cookbook on our request this year. Having them on showcasing recipes would be awesome. All hiker could eat better on trail, right?

Seaweed is incredibly nutriuent rich, throw it in ramen and swap out dried miso for the flavor packet is also a lot healthier.

I remember watching that moment where everyone met back up to summit Katahdin and having mixed feelings even at home it felt awkward and uninviting, I couldn't imagine living it. But that's what makes some of that years trail experience stories, as well as the other random events that happened on trail. Glad you're thinking of thru-hiking in the future Maddie, love your content.

You need to get Ben and Kami from fight for together on your podcast. I think they had the most wild thru hiking experience from hiking with multiple children ages 2-17, CPS being called multiple times on them, running a marathon mid way through their hike hiking in snow and horrible weather early on and not even being allowed to fully summit katahdin at the end. AND THEY FILMED IT ALL!!

I've done trails more than once and have zero regrets Maybe the trail doesn't change but you do and you see it differently and process it differently and understand the value of the experience maybe more than you did the first time. I think a lot of hikers just can't wait to be done not really understanding the impending heartbreaking loss that comes with scrambling down katahdin .... Hike it again Hike them all again 🌻

10% of people were in a new relationship since the start of the hike, but only 5% fewer people were single from the start to the end (39 - 34%). So 5% were actually in a relationship at the start, and then in a relationship with someone new by the end of the AT 😮

I like her! I've watched many of her videos and like her style and personality. I like the fact she vlogs a variety of ways to enjoy the outdoors, hiking, kayaking, van camping etc. She's promoting to just get outside the best way you can. As far as her mullet head boyfriend, I feel she can do better! That's my unsolicited opinion that's worth absolutely nothing LOL. I see a lot of potential with her channel. K.I.S. (Keep it simple)😊

Why isn’t Americans actually spending more time outdoors..? This is almost day-to-day life here in Norway 🇳🇴 Either hiking/backpacking, or we spend time camping and hut-to-hut.
