The Roman Catholic Church (properly called the Latin Church) is "A" true Church. Not "The" true Church. We Eastern Catholic Churches are also true Churches and we are not Roman Catholic.

@@mitchellosmer1293 That deceitful church you speak of created the Bible. Inspired by the Holy Spirit it was the bishops of the Catholic Church who discerned the Bible and codified the canon of Sacred Scriptures. There would be no Bible without the Catholic Church.

It came in ad300s. It was made the official religion of Rome in ad380 by Theodosius. Scriptures was written by Jewish Christian Apostles and Jewish Prophets. Not Roman Catholics. Acts 9:31 says nothing of Roman Catholic Church. Stop misquoting. Acts 9:31 clearly says the Christian Church spread to Judea Samaria and Galilee regions of Israel; not Rome. So all your claims fall to the ground. Bible only approves traditions of Jesus and Apostles. 2 Thes 2:15. But Bible rejects all man made unbiblical traditions of Pharisees and Roman Church alike. Mat 15, 23. Roman Church doctrines came from its own man made traditions. Not from Jesus or Apostles or Scriptures. 95% of them are so. --NO Catholic wrote any part of the NT!!! . The scriptures were written by the apostles and their writings had been in circulation for a long time before the canon was established so even before the canon the letters of the apostles like Paul instructed was being read in the churches i.e. Colossians 4:16 "After this letter has been read to you, see that it is also read in the church of the Laodiceans and that you in turn read the letter from Laodicea." 2. When canon was agreed upon the Roman church wasn't even established and there was no pope then, just bishops or elders in Rome. He didn't even have supremacy at the time. The church had always had local congregations that were autonomous as we see in the scriptures with elders or bishops over these congregations in the cities. After the conversion of emperor Constantine he wanted to unify Christianity under one umbrella and create an orthodox uniform religion in the image of the empire. The first steps to doing that was the council he assembled to agree on authoritative letters and writings of the apostles and adding them to the already established Tanakh(Jewish old Testament). Later on, he gave palaces and donated a lot of money to the Roman congregations amd bishops who eventually later on gained supremacy when Christianity was made a state religion under his successors. The mosty influenrial bishop in Rome eventually gained the pagan titles of the roman emperors and became bishop of bishops, pontifuxx maximus and then pope. 3. Let's even pretend that the RCC created the scriptures. How come their dogmas and practices are in opposition to what Jesus and his apostles taught and believed in the scriptures. Remember the scriptures are not a poem that must be interpreted. They are recorded accounts of the teachings and beliefs and practices of Jesus, the apostles and the new testament church. So in your logic you should accept whatever the RCC says even though as i said we pretend that they made the bible. SO IF tomorrow the RCC comes out with a a papal bull to declare that pre marital sex is a dogma you will accept it??? Does that make any sense. Are you a Christian(christ follower) or a follower of the doctrines of men. I'm a Christian and i will continue to stay true to what he taught. As a free individual, you can do otherwise. I have nothing to prove to anyone. I love all who claim to serve Jesus and i want them to be true to his teachings do that they can be saved and have a true relationship with him and the holy spirit. I have given you a lot of evidences in scriptures from what Jesus and the apostles taught to show you that Roman Catholicism isn't the same with what they believed and taught.
