@@neiljohnson2067undertaker kinda makes sense. He has many different variations that look different. His dead man debut attire looks different to his 2006 dead man attire, there is also the american badass who looks different. As for shawn his wwf and wwe attires and face look different as well, but we only need those versions two for him. With cena i get it, since the main difference his the color of his T-shirt. They could have fit different variations to only one of his versions. Same with Rey Mysterio, since in 2k22 there were like 8 different versions of him.
@@neiljohnson2067i thought 2000-2001 austin was awesome. They had disturbed do the intro music for him in that version. Do they have that version of austin in 2k24? Or hopefully "hollywood" the rock from 2003?
Lol glad I'm not the only one who hated that Hollywood Hogan had a bandana the past few games, it can't be removed either but someone on PC uploads a removed Hogans to community creations with the bandana removed and I always download them.
I likec the arcady style more than the sim version because it's a sim but no matter how hard they try, it won't feel real.... just bring back the arcady style....
Yo Shawn one cool thing about my faction this year is we can unlock "persona" cards that give us alt attires to be played in any mode. It wasn't like that last year. Can grind without spending a dime. & my rise I download a community creation wrestler. Last years "the lock" was fire with STING
One thing that’s really cool that they added is 30 person Royale Rumble online, which my friends and I are extremely happy about. But we did try to play a tornado tag match and it switched up our tag teams and even a player had a different person than who they picked. But overall the game has a lot of new stuff to it actually.
I'm a long time female fan of wrestling since i was a little girl and still greatly enjoy it. I love when you talk wrestling here every now and then... even though I don't have this game, it does look good and so far people seem to be enjoying it.
It's a great fun game I recommend it Especially if you like playing with your friends They added special guest referee match and other new modes which is awesome.

Thought I was the only one I hope they have some variation of his chokeslam from Smack down shut your mouth where before he lifts them up he gives the thumbs up i swear every body talking about how the games moved back then and how they want it back man bump all that I want all those old moves back from the past games

@tomdrake Here comes the pain is one of the goats but the new WWE 2K game has a bunch of things that you can’t do in Here Comes the pain. Blood on the mat, apron springboard moves, tune the difficulty with pin sliders. Here comes the pain and every wrestling game that has ever existed before 2k24, 2k23 and maybe svr2006 were extremely easy after a while. With 2k you can always tune them with the sliders. Also, in here comes the pain highflyers were broken when the AI played as them. They would never do their top rope finisher. Submission wrestlers were extremely weak. They could never win a match vs a player because they wouldn’t fill the meter quickly enough. You also couldn’t break/disrupt finisher animations. You couldn’t do a standing finisher unless you kick the opponent. There’s a lot more but you get the point Etc.etc

I’m not generally a fan of in-game card games, but I make an exception for Pazaak in Knights of the Old Republic. Like every other aspect of KOTOR, it’s incredible.

You can get alternate attires from myfaction now so im actually going to play that mode now, also i think you can get items to unlock i think such as clothing
I had selected a certain attire for a wrestler and when I started the match it defaulted to the original attire I did this a few times and it kept happening ugh
I did purchase the deluxe pack & really having a lot of fun with it. I didn't go into depth with all the game modes as of yet but really having a blast in the Wrestlemania showcase mode. After that is done, I will do My Rise....I usually love that mode & I did hear it is pretty solid.
Is it possible to get wwf legends 64 on Nintendo 64 , but a cartridge? And what kind of n 64 should I buy for my big screen flat t.v. ? I have mega retron hd for sega genesis..tecmo super bowl hacked roster games, and retro-bit for my nes 8 bit tecmo super bowl hacked versions. These consoles look great on my huge t.v. through hdmi.
Before I played 2K24, I had not played a WWE game since 2K19. The disaster of 2K20 and the control changes prevented me from getting anymore WWE games. So I just got 2K24 about 3 weeks ago, it took some time for me to get used to the controls, but I eventually did. And this game is a masterpiece, with the post-2K19 controls, matches are more competitive and more alive. I love it!
I have been enjoying it as someone who hasn’t played the games in the last few years i had to play this one. I’ve been playing the career mode and its fun.
In love wrestling when I was younger and also all the older wresting games. Haven't really watched it for a long time now. I remember buying a 2k wrestling game a while back and hated that I had to pay extra money to play as my favorite old school wrestlers so I gave up on it. Do they still make you pay extra for certain characters????
I’d definitely check out my factions they offer ways to unlock new variations of wrestlers this year like sheamus 09 & the shield Seth Rollins & unlike past years you unlock them for all modes
I do have question, I don't mean to hate some games but I got confused a little bit. I love to play WWE SVR 07 on my PC. To me the graphics was pretty good, and the likeness was so similar, like Undertaker, Batista, John Cena, is so similar to the real person. But then saw some clips of WWE 2K games, I find it hard to guess which one is the superstar, the likeness is different, some superstar looks like totally different person. But why? new technology graphics supposed to be better, right?
Crazy we don't have legends like Edge, Christian, Chris Jericho, Big Show, Mark Henry, Billy Gunn, Sting, The Hardy Boyz and it's still fairly a big roster

MyFaction isn't really a card game. The cards are basically just your roster of wrestlers you can choose from to play the various MyFaction challenges~
I am so glad I just got my steam deck to supplement my switch for the games that dont come.....it can get frustrating waiting and wishing for ports to play on the go like the new resident evils and Sims and Madden. The steam deck has me covered now!
oh yeah, can't wait to play at 10 frames per second in slow motion anytime there are more than 3 wrestlers in the ring. Maybe when the new switch comes out, since even most phones can run games better than the switch at the moment.
Good review bro, I feel the same way about the back stage politics in wrestling, hopefully they leave it be because I thought it was so weird they had Brock Lesnar in the WrestleMania showcase but don't have him as a playable character on the regular game, it's obvious they already have the character created they just don't want to release it
It's 4 new match types not 2, Ambulance, Casket, Gauntlet and Special Referee although Ambulance is the only real new match type. All these are new to the 2K series.
I love this game my son loves this game but there's some things that need to be fixed one of the things is when you're playing a tag match somebody that's outside cannot come in every once in awhile, some animations take longer than others when it comes to hitting people and I feel that this one all the reversals are much more easier to do than 2K 23, overall me and my son love this we live in Texas right now we went to raw on October and we just finished going to SmackDown where Cody Rhodes smacked The Rock and that was epic cuz I have never seen The Rock in real life until now and I got to see it with my son he's nine and he is a big attitude era fan he loves watching the reruns
Great gameplay, amazing roster, fun modes. 2k24 is a huge W. I used to play wrestling games all the time as a kid until I fell out of the product, I started watching again a few years back, and I'm happy that the game is so good
I agree, it's an excellent wrestling game, the first I've bought in 25 years (the last being WWE Raw for Dreamcast) despite being a keen fan since 1987. They didn't used to be very good, but this is the first one I've played that actually feels like a wrestling match (pacing etc...). However, I didn't think I'd like MyFaction (I'd never even heard of it), but I'm really enjoying it, so while it might not be for everyone, I think it's a great mode. As long as you don;t spend extra cash on it but so far I haven't had to. It give a bit of RPG-ness to it (ie evolving wrestlers etc..).
I haven’t watched wrestling in awhile at least modern wrestling. I watch ECW matches still and older WCW and WWF matches though i did watch highlights of wrestlemania this year cause I was told a Rhodes won the championship belt which is awesome.
Sorry RGT...I can't pay attention while being stunned that Andre is not only coming off the top turnbuckle, but that he's getting powerbombed by Ilia Dragonoff. 😳😬
