I don't even bother watching any of these shows where I just now I would hate most of what I would see, I only care about Nintendo Direct these days. The Power Rangers game looks sick nasty though, definitely keeping an eye on that, I still have my SNES copies. I mean of course I'm also interested in DBZ but after Xenoverse 2 I just know this will be a DLC pest I mean fest, also it's not on PS4 anymore so I would have to get it on Steam, and I'm not paying 70 bucks for physical games and certainly not for a download, so definitely not a day 1 purchase and a later Switch or Swiitch version is not impossible.
I just seen some highlights and it was abysmal. Cannot even imagine watching this garbage live. Nintendo needs to save us again with this upcoming direct :-)
what a let down. even the aftershow said Resident evil and its like.. the gaming industry just doesnt know its audience what so ever man. Its like " yea... most of us were expecting a NEW RE game".... but nope. ALSO the power rangers game litterally looks like shreddars revenge lol.
I watched almost all of it at double speed, and skipped games I didn't care about, and it still felt bloated with low tier stuff. This should have been an email.
The best trailer is the "mobile chicken game" ... But this summer, there's so many events, it becomes really hard to have a good unique show ... And yeah RGT, Power Rangers seems fun 😁
LEGO Horizon on Switch makes absolute sense; the LEGO target audience is kids, and they're a lot of the folk on the Switch. More than the PS5, at least. Hats off though to watching the full thing. I couldn't. :D
pretty good show until valorant dragged it down with that long segment. the blumhouse games looked cool but very confusing presentation. and sam lake speaks very bad english?
Even if it had a load of top games I don't think it needed to be a show with an audience. To be honest these styles of events are old hat, most of the premiers are only premiers due to this being before other presentations. E3 isn't coming back it's not needed and it's a case of how long other events like the Tokyo game show can hold on for.
idk i thought it was sick that there were actual games this time and not 50 genshin impacts back to back like it feels like events were last time. that being said i think they leaned hard into indie games this time around which i think isnt SGF's place.
Man, no wonder Nintendo declined to be part of this event. I bet Keighley has a rough idea of what Nintendo is cooking and thought they'd cash in from their new content announcements. I definitely wish E3 were a thing again instead of this.
