I liked the piece, but, just a reminder: alleged claims, even detailed claims are NOT RECEIPTS. These cases are tough to crack. It's very difficult to get ACTUAL EVIDENCE. Ex- Mormon here, when I was a child I remember the prophet or the church proclaiming that america would be hanging by a thread and someone from the Mormon church would step up and save America. It was widely known and believed in church circles.

The first time I heard about this I figured it was screwy. #1 because we have so many children in the that are being trafficked,if the program was legit they would save our people before other countries, all children deserve to be saved but if they do it over seas they can get away with things that are against the law.How about take those millions you have to save kids & build two boarding schools ,one for boys one for girls. Save as many kids as fits in your school, when each child is ready to graduate they go back to their families or foster care the next groups come in. Start with our American kids , give them scholarships in therapy and classes they can use to support themselves & help others. Tim get neutered before you hire any woman to work with.

This is weird about the second anointing - I'm not a Mormon and never was, and a handful of my mom's family members were/are Mormons and I've heard about the second anointing from a second cousin of mine way back in 1999 when her son was trying to convince me to switch from being an Episcopalian and trying to convince me to get my husband to leave his Catholic faith and become a Mormon. My cousin spent about an hour explaining the second anointing the day before her son tried the converserion tactic with me. What made me so mad is that he was doing that the day before my mom died right in the hospital - he hated it that I dismissed him and basically told him I wasn't interested in his cult.

Generations of these families become adults who do the same in their jobs and political positions. It’s so engrained in the culture, the backlash happens organically when information is introduced that challenges the status quo.

I pity all the great people in the US who must feel like they are living in an alternate universe. The Catholic church had to eat humble pie and see it's congregations totally shrink before accepting its responsibility. The Pope spoke about how heartbroken he was for everybody who suffered because of inaction over years. Only now, after drastic and open changes, are their churches gaining attendees at church again. I doubt the LDS leaders will be so humble, even though it is haemorrhaging members. They are having their Catholic moment in the world's spotlight. That "church" is simply an enormous conglomerate, with $350++++ billions in Wall Street alone. Add the value of their land holdings, Shopping Malls, and countless other rich holdings and you have a worldwide conglomerate which dabbles in religion. Well done for allowing Carah to have her say.
