Fun fact: Technically Squidward ate a multitude of Krabby Patties in the season 2 episode "Your Shoe’s Untied," so I am unsure why they retconned that detail in the season 3 episode "Just One Bite" (Maybe Squidward was traumatized by the experience and tried forgetting it by saying he never had a Krabby Patty).
I just wanna take this opportunity to bring up something I've never seen discussion about. The premiere of the episode this game is based upon in the UK was cut short. It had the length of a two-parter but I guess whoever queued up the schedule that day didn't get the memo and so the second half of the special was just a random episode. I remember as a kid watching it I thought I just missed some huge plot element as to why now it was an episode about SpongeBob and Patrick piloting a fist(?) and selling krabby patties around town.
Whew, what an unfortunate mistake! Though a really funny one at the same time. You gotta use your imagination to figure out how they got from one episode to the one after it!
I love how all the different truth or square games were created by different teams yet actually did the show justice by looking back on actual episodes rather than making up memories like the real episode did
Luci, I love you but yes we should just play a regular board game lmao 😅 this game seems really fun but it needs too much brainpower and quick reflexes :p
I feel inclined to point out that at least all the memories mentioned in this video were also the memories the DS version of Truth or Square used as the basis for its levels, and I find that neat
One thing that you didn't mention is that this game was outright lost media for a good while. Glad it was eventually recovered, though. This does look quite fun. The way you have to build pathways reminds me of Dungeon Dice Monsters.
