Wow, great job hiking this hard trail with so little sleep! And what a neat place at the end, I will have to look up more history on it.

Thanks so much and yes just research Tuttle creek ashram online. Fascinating story. Couldn’t include everything I found out about it

Dude, when you said deep sand I had flashbacks of Havasupai. Deep sand makes 1 mile feel like 3. Awesome place!! Thanks for taking us there.

Hey thanks and yeah it wasn’t the deepest I’ve ever hiked in but paired with the climb it was tough for this old guy! lol

Very cool building. So good that it was saved from demolition. Great views. Doubly tough hike due to heat & elevation...Hope you stayed plenty hydrated.

Wow, absolutely beautiful. That heat didn't make the hike any easier. I have been wanting to revisit that area since 2014, I will have to look up that hike. I am looking forward to your HST. ❤😊

@@anitasimmons3599 hey yeah the heat made it especially tough although a slight breeze began once I got up at the Ashram. Yeah you should definitely go there if you can. Very near where you go up to the Whitney portal. Thx in terms of the HST. Yeah I’m getting on trail early tomorrow for 6 days ending in the 29th. Daily videos will follow of course. I want to take my time on them to do them justice

Such a cool hike. I saw it on All Trails when we visited Alabama Hills at the end of May and was tempted, but the conditions weren't right. Glad you got to experience that. I love hikes with a cool destination. Well done coming from sea level. I can relate.😉

Can't wait to get to California for some hiking adventures. I've done Palomar mountain & potatoe chip rock in August and can tell you to load up on water because you will run out. Thanks for the video.
