I've had 6 Capri's over the years and the best one I had was a 2.8i special in two tone blue. My first one was a 1.6 GL automatic in metallic gold with a black vinyl roof. Great simple cars that were easy to maintain and great fun to drive..... Especially in the wet.

My dad owned a 2.8i capri which had a role cage and had been in storage for many years previously owned by a member of a capri club, full recaro bucket seats, was such a fun car to go out in with him and very fast as standard and modded rear T bar(most likely the wrong name it was so long ago). loved being so low to the ground. Great video which brought back some good memories. cheers dude :)

Oh man.. nostalgia kicked in hard watching this, when I was a yout my old man had a 2.8 injection Capri bought from a police auction. I remember the throttle cable would snap and he’d be driving it literally pulling at the cable with his right arm out the window 😂 This musta been around ‘95, I’m 30 now!! It’s the Capri that made me fall in love with motors

I remember meeting this car on the a259 back in the day, I was in my 300hp magenta sapphire cosworth, good little race but he never got past as we ran out of road😀 ! Amazing he still has it, sold my cossie when I got divorced 😢 .
