I love how surreal and low budget Bakshi's versions are. He was definitely smoking a lot of heavy stuff.

In this episode, Spider- Man was voiced by Paul Soles who also voiced Hermy on the old Rankin Bass Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer. And Billy was played by Canadian actress Billie Mae Richards who also voiced Rufolph. And Paul Kligman who voiced J. Jonah Jameson also voiced Comet on Rudolph.

I love Mrs. Conners handing him the note casually while sitting 8 feet away from him. She doesn't even stretch her arm out, she just moves the sheet like 3 inches forward and then a giant spidey hand comes in and takes it. Take a look at the frame where they'e both holding it at the same time

The Krants films were more dark and dramatic than season 1

From the plastic arts we turn to Superheroes. Last night on a 1967 Spiderman cartoon episode we witnessed the resuscitation of a great superhero tradition when Peter Parker came of age, in a European sense, with an almost Proustian display of modern existentialist superheroism, virtually annihilating by midfield moral argument the now surely obsolescent catennachio defensive philosophy of Doctor Kurt Connors. Connors was indeed a side 'intellectually' out argued by a Spiderman thrusting and bursting with aggressive Kantian positivism, and outstanding in this fine act of heroism was my man of the match, the arch-thinker, free scheming, scarcely ever to be curbed, midfield cognoscento, Peter Parker.

Have you done an entire video of how J. Jonah Jameson’s personality in this cartoon variation was the most different than the other cartoon versions? Because he was more disliked in it but it would be interesting of your take on this version and compare it to the other cartoon versions.
