The UKs biggest abandoned slate mine ! Must Watch 

There is another quarry a about 20 miles from llanberis, Trefor Granite quarry, They were filming the new House of dragons series there last year. There is 3 mountains the quarry on one side and on the other side you have the ruins of celtic houses on the top.

I may be wrong but I thought Dinorwic was a quarry as a mine is usually underground ?
