Hey team, Made a slight mistake with the Speedmaster specs! It comes in at 42mm not 40mm. Sorry guys, don’t know how I got that one wrong! ❤

Technically speaking it is 40mm, it’s 42 mm if you take into consideration the crown guards, but it you measure the bezel, which is the visible part of the watch it’s 40. So, I guess you were kind of wrong? Not entirely wrong.

1. Dress/everyday watch - a Grand Seiko (a snowflake, skyflake, etc) or a Cartier Tank Must XL 2. Dive - Omega SMP 300 white dial or green dial or BlancpaiN FF Bathyscaphe 38mm (but is more expensive than Omega) 3. Pilot/Field - IWC Mark XX green dial or Rolex Explorer 1 36mm Yeah I put Rolex Explorer in the Field category, for some it may not be a field watch but for me it is. 3,6,9 on the dial, very legible, 100m WR, screw down crown, screwed caseback and is a strap monster

@@nickbrooker1411 Ok, I mean, Seamaster 300M isn't a Rolex, but sure...all sports watches I guess doesn't make for an ideal 3-watch collection. Of course, it depends on your lifestyle. I use the Pepsi when I dress up to go to, say a wedding or the theater. With the jubilee bracelet, seems to work. The other two cover pretty much everything else for me.

On my wrist today is my Lorier Falcon II in black/gilt. A 3-watch collection I could live with: my BB58 blue for daily wear, my SARB035 for dressier events or a change of pace, & my G-Shock DW5610 for any appropriate rougher occasions.

You could have a white dial watch to complete the collection and maybe a quartz movement so they’re not all manual/automatic. If you could stretch a bit over the 3K that means a quartz Cartier Tank or Santos.

My perfect 3 watch collection. Speedmaster pro (Hesalite or Sapphire) Rolex GMT master II Rootbeer JLC Reverso duo face (because almost like a 2 for 1) when limited to just 3. Other than the Speedy these are not necessarily my favourite 3 watches. But they provide the diversity of 3 different brands, got a chrono and icon, and beautiful two tone kinda sports watch with a GMT function and a rectangular dress watch with 2 dial options to change things up a bit. The Reverso belongs on leather, the GMT on bracelet, and then the Speedy will look amazing on pretty much any strap option.

For the CW 12 it's only like $1500. Having that much detail with an in house case is such a big ask for that price point. I don't mind the movement because you don't have an in house, but you get so much else

Not sure why so many think that a collection should include a chronograph. Most people probably never use the chronograph function. I believe a diver / beater, a nice sports watch, and a dress watch is a well balanced three watch collection.

For me I just can‘t make a 3 collection, it need to be 4 watches, one for every of my favourite categoriea of watches: Diver, Chrono, GMT, Dress In my case: Black Bay 54, Speedy, Datejust 41, And for the GMT I opt for Black Bay 58 GMT. And one day change it with the Rolex Pepsi ;)! More than these 4 models, I’ll never need

Mine would be 0. One solar quartz, so it can keep telling time almost forever and to be used as standard time (at least one of these should be this movement) 1. Field or Pilot watch 2. Dress watch 3. Dive watch 4. you didn't say "as always"

I don’t wan to hurt ur feelings. Majority of those from the east have little to no interest in omega oversized Speedmaster or christopher ward. And when there is no love or support from the vast majority of watch lovers then you might as well give 50 % discount or more to those who love it 🤭
