Tip for playing by yourself with AI squad - while setting up game, go into Params and under equipment options you'll find a setting called "Default number of items needed for guests to be able to use them". Change this to "no limit". There's nothing more annoying than scrounging a few good rifles and having your AI unable to equip them.
@AlenB29 you can’t unless you change the settings, otherwise they have to be unlocked. Usually 25 of each item will unlock them but I like to have this setting on, makes it more realistic guerrilla warfare.
Actually, if you move your HQ about 300M in any direction you can do another mission of that type. This is how I capture villages and towns very quick. If you start do a supply mission once the town is on your side you move HQ into that town or closer to the next town you plan to move on the map. Just move Petros and you can do another. I’ve done 5 in a row just by moving HQ. Another great video tho! Can’t wait to see the next series !

@@theurbanhermit365 Then just do a supply, then another type then ask for a supply again that is what I do... It has always worked for vanilia antistasi and even on ultimate it still works. So do supply, then assignation for instance then come back and do supply till you control the towns near the HQ... I mean early on its where I get most my starter gear doing supply missions killing the police in region for their better then your starting gear... Like vanila they got lvl 2 ballastics vests that say police. I am doing RHS right now against Russians they got MPs with just basic Aks, Ak74us and like 1 out of 5 got a tin foil starter helmet, and 1 out of 3 seem to have a ballestics vest. Like works way better with vanilla as all them have vests, but then its like 1 out 6 have blue popo helmet so feels about same drop rate on helmets just in RHS the war score one russians use same crap helmsts and vests as the MPs so it stacks up.

If you are using ace mod( if you're playing alone use ace no medical) you need to go in the gas station get out to the vehicle and press windows key in the gas bomb
I don't remember if vehicles get fixed/fueled/rearmed if you don't have those special trucks in garage. You don't have to use the map to save, easier to use commander menu. You don't have to unload ammo truck "the hard way", just park near it and you can click "transfer cargo to arsenal". Same with crates you get from enemy outpost/airfield/milibase. They get fixed/rearmed/repaired if you have those vehicles in your garage, you don’t have to use the map no but generally I’m at HQ when I log off so I use the map after looking at info etc, Yes but transferring will delete your loot box, early on this isn’t ideal so do it the way I said and you don’t loose it.
@@kettujabamiesukkeliukko talking about loot crates 🤣 if you have one in the vehicle with one of those arsenal crates and do as you say you’ll loose the loot crate also. Takes an extra 5 seconds to unload it haha An armoury box you can what you wish with, doesn’t cost you anything haha
Refueling: If also running any ACE version, you need to use your Windows key (default) while looking at the pump to actually grab a nozzle and hook it up. Garage: Find Fuel, ammo, and repair trucks, garage them, then "restore nearby units" will repair and rearm any vehicles too. Loot boxes: Most flags have a large crate nearby, and surrendered enemies drop loot crates too.
Nice, yeah ACE just makes everything more in depth. Generally I do the vanilla side of things with AU but I appreciate the comment and advice for anyone who might be using ACE 🫡
@@theurbanhermit365 we run a few mods but stick with ACE No Medical for simplicity. Currently freeing Takistan from the Invading Americans in a Durka Durka playthrough XD Also, earplugs are a must (especially with soundmods)
Small correction, ACE doesn't stop the AI from resing you, the AI actually does treat you, but you have to keep in mind that it'll function via ACE mechanics which means no immediate revive, it'll take time to get blood back into you, the meds to take effect, bandage you up etc, but I have found they actually work on you, AND on each other.
@WinterburnVideos yeah the medic had extras on them, that’s why I was confused as it kept telling me they were on their way then just stood there staring at me or getting distracted with something else 😅 I’ll have to try again tomorrow as I really wanted to use it for the next series

Its not one per login its one at a time so if you do a logistics or failed it, you CAN take another after you do another mission or enough time has passed you can't just spam only one mission type though.
yeah so you cant take a logistics and then do a logistics after, basically what i was saying. generally i wont do loads of missions in one playthrough, it'll be one or two missions and then attacking a couple of places then log off, if you really wanted to you can just save the game leave server come back in and just rinse the logistics missions but why would you want to.
Hey. So to my knowledge, I followed everything you said. But I cant recruit soldiers to me, if I recruit some, they are just there, existing, but I cant control them, other than from Zeus. Also, when I buy infantry it also gets spent from the faction money, not my own
That seems strange, you playing vanilla settings and with AU/CBA_A3 ? I’m only running those two mods with this guide so maybe an extra mod you’re running is doing it ?
What's the best way to tackle the "sunken ship" mission specifically for Tanoa? I always roll my eyes when I get that one as opposed to the ammo truck.
Grab a boat, some scuba gear and get fishing. Tbh I’ve only ever done one and I did just that. You can obtain scuba equipment from sea ports or the black market trader 🫡
I did find out from a subscriber that if you store it in the garage when you’re finished before logging off it’ll refund you the $100 you spent on it as well.
Hello, I need help cause I’m using Ace3 Medical and I’m playing with a friend but we both run into the same problem of not being able to use all of the medical functions even if we are a medic. For example using saline or blood. We tried to change the settings within the config but it says server overrides the change.
Ace does effect the AI being able to revive which is why I haven’t used it 🙂 So best thing to do is try a mod see how it reacts. There is a website for AU which gives a list of compatible mods etc 🙂
How do you self revive? I play sp and the ai is crap sometimes. Ive had them stand next to me and let me bleed out so i for one would like to use this.
You need to change it in the parameters before starting the game, there should be an option for a self revive - then this on to withstand and when you go down it should show you a print to push H, you can use it once every 5 minutes 🙂
hi ! i have a question, im playing antistasi ultimate and have a problem. Why EVERY assassination quest i pick is completed 5 sec after (i did that for 15 quest of assassination and 15 was automaticly completed). Any tips to resolve this issue ?
I have had it a couple of times myself where a mission may end sooner than expected or before I’ve completed it as such. Only happened a couple of times and it’s been with the kill L’Ensemble leaders. I know that the new version for Ultimate has just released so maybe it could be a new bug? Join the AU discord and report it, may be others that have had the same issue but I’ve yet to start a new series since said update.
@@theurbanhermit365 yes and random events will happen to but i just can’t see them bc i can’t click on task to find where they are i’ve been looking everywhere for a fix and it seems im the only person with this problem lmao but I know you’re also supposed to see the mission name in the top left but mine doesn’t have that either lmk if you find something that can fix this please i don’t know what to do.
@@theurbanhermit365 also i had this problem months ago and it made me stop playing but I’ve recently started playing again and noticed it hasn’t changed but in the past I uninstalled then reinstalled the game with no mods in story mode and It was doing the same thing.
@fadedreaper86 random event won’t be classed as a mission, these tend to just be the other forces coming together and having a fight usually. You can occasionally be giving random missions when playing but these should give you an indicator then show up on the top left. Maybe go verify files quick on steam. I’ve had issues when I fist logged on after the update of AU I verified and not had any issues since. Other than that I’m not too sure why it would be there 🤷♂️
version update invalidated previous saves. If you want to finish your campaign, the AU page on the workshop has a link to an old version that will work
The Devs have recently updated the mod so old save files may not be compatible, there is a work around. If you join my discord there is a pinned message in the arma discussion tab - set by step of how to use old file save.
Are you looking at the arms dealer himself when trying to get the purchase menu ? are you using any other mods other than AU & CBA_A3 as they could be causing it. last time i went to the dealer there was vehicles and equipment available so not something ive had happen myself.

@@craigdamoose9769 okay, they’ve recently done an update for the mod, are you fully updated, I did notice yesterday when I loaded back up for the first time it had a few issues but resolved itself when I verified arma 3 files, maybe give that a go see if it does anything. All depends what you’re looking for. I did notice the Antistasi Website had been updated. Makes it a lot easier to see which maps/mods are compatible with AU. I was on there earlier looking at mods for the next series 🙂
