Please do a video of the quaint town of Peñuelas. There is so much history and it is too often passed by from content creators. Peñuelas is a very unique hidden gem with so much history of artists, poets, writers, sports figures etc. Also its known as the Capital del Guiro and it also is a hub for the manufacturing of the Cuatro instrument which is a major component of our Musica Tipica de los Puertoriqueños. So i how and pray you can one day soon make this video. It would be massively appreciated.
All that info is amazing! I’ll definitely put it on my list of videos to make. Do you happen to know if there are any festivals in Peñuelas, specially relating to the cuatro?
I’ll be visiting for the first time in February, and your channel has been so helpful. You give all the practical advice that most others gloss over. 👍👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏
Hey Chris! Thank you so much for your comment and positive feedback! That’s part of the reason I decided to start this channel. I felt there was a lot of information missing for people to feel confortable exploring the island. Glad you guys are visiting! Hope you have a great time! 😄🙌🏼🇵🇷
Thank you for wonderful video! It is really interesting and motivating! Cannot wait when all of us start travel again! Thank you for helping to promote tourism!
Hey Maris!! Thank you for your comment! You can find the Buyé Beach Resort and the Villa Buyé right next to the beach, but I’m sure there are other nearby options on Airbnb which are equally as nice. Hope that helps! 😄🙏🏼🇵🇷
Hey!! Thank you so much for the comment! I’m glad my video was helpful! 😄🙌🏼🇵🇷 I’m getting a lot of people requesting it! I’m gonna have to go back! 🙌🏼💙❤️💙🌊
Puerto Rico's 78 cities are amazing; its other bigger islands and 199 inlets and attols can total more than 7,000 square miles; the big island alone has 1225 beaches, and 1,600 square miles of rivers and lakes, and another 3,435 square miles of land. It's a true paradise, filled with many natural resources.
Cabo Rojo is a western gem. This municipality is blessed with great weather friendly people and nice places to have fun. The most beautiful sunsets are at Los Murillos Lighthouse. Cabo Rojo is the perfect place for any kind of photography.
Hey Jonathan! Thank you for commenting! Cabo Rojo is on another level of beautiful! So many unique landscapes that you wont find in any other place in Puerto Rico or even the world! Those sunsets are absolutely breathtaking from Combate and Buyé as well! 🌅😍🙌🏼🇵🇷
I'm so glad you did this video I've been trying to encourage people to come to Cabo rojo Puerto Rico for almost 20 years I moved there in 2004 but I live back and forth from there to Ohio. But I would like for you to do a part two because there is so much that was not shared but I love the entire Island LOL but I absolutely love and cherish Cabo rojo
Hey Asad! Thank you for your comment! Cabo Rojo is definitely worth the roadtrip! It was impossible for us to do everything in the short weekend we had haha But I for sure want to go back to make that part 2. Again, thank you! 😄🙏🏼🙌🏼🇵🇷
El Faro de Cabo Rojo is one of my favorite places in all of Puerto Rico. Once you are there, it's almost like you have left PR, and are somewhere else. So special and unique .... and those breathtaking views!! You feel those views in your gut.
Hey!! I totally agree with you!! Cabo Rojo feels like a completely different country because of it’s natural landscape, unique wildlife, and culture. Love it all! 😄🙌🏼🇵🇷
Many people do speak English, specially in touristy areas like Old San Juan. Outside of the metro area you’ll definitely find people that also speak english, but to a lesser degree.
Great idea! Though not sure how feasible it would be since the lighthouse is a historic structure and there are issues with which organization is managing it. That’s why sometimes it isn’t open to visit inside. Regardless, it’s a beautiful place to see, even if only from the outside! 😄🙌🏼🇵🇷
Brick, I’ll be in Puerto Rico in August with my wife son & his girlfriend. We’re planning on staying in Cabo Rojo for four nights and three nights in Old San Juan. I have family in Anasco, but we wanted to experience the southern part of Puerto Rico. How far is La Parguera from Cano Rojo? We also wanted to check out the Bioluminescent Bay.
Hey Steve!! That’s awesome! Cabo Rojo is very big, so depending of where you’re starting out from it can take from 30 - 40 minutes, which is not so bad, and the road is pretty straightforward. I’ve never been to the bio bay in La Parguera but I hear it’s better than the one in Fajardo. Remember to go when there’s no moonlight for a better experience! Hope that helps! 😄🙌🏼🇵🇷
When I was living in Cabo Rojo in the early 60s there was nothing in El Combate.. I went on vacation in 2019 to visit my mom in Monte Grande and my cousin took me back to Combate I didn’t know where I was.. There is a whole town there
Hey Eric! Wow!! I can’t imagine what Combate was like in the early 60s, but like you said, right now it gets very busy and there are many businesses down there. Definitely one of my favorite beaches in Cabo Rojo.
YES Please make a part 2 I'm planning on going there my grandmother was actually From there Heck I wanna move there tropical is in my blood I have always wanted to go and I didn't get a chance to go with her before she passed away
Thank you for your story! Glad you were able to see some of it through my video. Cabo Rojo is amazing and has so many interesting things to see. Hopefully I can make part 2 soon! 😄🙌🏼🇵🇷
Cabo Rojo is one of our favorite areas to visit in Puerto Rico since we like to go where the locals go it's definitely worth the drive from San Juan. The calm and crystal blue waters at Playa Combate makes it a must for every trip to this magnificent island. I can't wait to buy a house here. xoxo
Thanks for the comment, David! I had the privilege of living in Cabo Rojo for 6 months and I have to say that it definitely stole my heart. Without a doubt a unique place on the island. ❤️💙🇵🇷
Good videos, you must do them in spanish as well and advertise where to eat as restaurants and food trucks in the areas (a possible extra income in your pocket)
Hey Nancy! Thank you for the comment!! Look into Boho Beach Club. I haven’t stayed there but its a popular option, so look at the photos, reviews and decide. There are also several Airbnbs.
Thank you!! Cabo Rojo is just breathtaking and unique! Everyone should definitely visit if they get the chance. Glad you’ve been able to do just that! 😄🙌🏼🇵🇷
Hey!! Thank you for that comment! I definitely want everyone to learn, respect and love the island and the people who live here as much as possible. Puerto Rico is amazing! 😄🙌🏼🇵🇷
Fishermen do fish, but I’m not sure if there are laws, regulations and restrictions on who and where people can fish. Wish I had more information to provide you on that.
Hey Janet! That’s amazing! You won’t regret it! Just fyi, if you go during the weekend of Easter, it will probably be really full. Make sure to get there very early if you want to find good parking. Hope that helps! 😄🙌🏼
@@BriksTravelGuides i am going the week of Easter . Is it worth going to Cabo Rojo over vieques? So far I’m staying in San Juan then Culebra 2 nights but haven’t planned rest of my trip bc I can decide. Going April 10-20
Hi Juan! Puerto Mosquito would definitely make for an amazing video! A whole video of Vieques is on the list! What type of wild animals are you looking to see? I would say Cabo Rojo is a great place to go bird watching, specifically near the Refugio Nacional de Vida Silvestre de Cabo Rojo .
Hey Denice! I don’t currently offer tours of Cabo Rojo, but you can check out West Side Adventures. They have several tours that might work for you. Hope that helps!
Hey Tushar!! Playa Sucia (Playuela) is such a unique beach in Puerto Rico! A bit hard to get to but definitely worth it! Thank you for your comment! 😄🙌🏼🇵🇷
