Just to nerd out... It be great to see stock bolt vs the upgraded bolt at the chrono. I'd like to see if your theory holds up. It's a pretty easy/quick thing to change out. Plus you can add the material to "part IV"
I have this without the soft bolt, can shoot like 8.8 consistently super easy with 1 finger. Perfect for using in recreational play but still having an edge.
I was thinking of getting an emek, but after upgrading the barrel and doing this stuff, it made more sense to guy a new mini gs instead. It looks so much better and has a much higher rof. And it is cheaper than the emek with all of these parts, on top of looking and performing much better.
In an earlier video, you reviewed the Emach trigger, and now you're using the Infamous on your build. Which trigger do you prefer? Are there any noticable differences between the two? Thanks for your time.
I 100% say barrel. Being able to match your barrel to your paint would help out in all situations. In a real gun would you rather hit what you're aiming at or be able to shoot faster but have less accuracy?
My local field only half fills tanks, so can never tell exactly how many pods I can shoot. Though with the hair 45 I seem to be getting almost 2 more pods, of paint, per half fill.
I'm 50/50 on this. I have an Adrenaline CVO and a hair valved inception emek with an infamous trigger. I prefer the CVO shot and trigger feel, but know the bolt/valve design on the emek is superior (no short stroking and softer on paint IMO). My CVO trigger is more crisp/snappy, while my emek is shorter by pull length.
I’ve been debating on a stanchy custom double trigger. With 2 fingers I can easily do 8-10 bps. Single trigger I can barely do 4-6 bps. hAIR valve should be able to keep up.
ultimately depends on your goal, double trigger is definitely great for faster rate of fire just higher risk of ball breaking with no eyes to assist preventing it. if you’re playing more for fun and trust your trigger finger(s) then absolutely do it. if you’re planning on climbing the ladder and hitting the competitive scene later down the line then be cognizant of the fact that double triggers and larger trigger guards are illegal and may be a better idea to train your one trigger finger rather than get comfortable with 2 :)
Here's some knowledge for ya. Deadlywind originally developed the hAir valve back around 2002 FOR THE AUTOMAG. They ran into patent complications and it was never released, until now. There are videos of it on YT ripping with double trigger frames.
You are the only other person who has said they use the emek without a trigger spring. Everyone says to use a pen spring and stuff but anyone who has seen an auto mag knows that it’s perfectly fine without a trigger spring.
The air pushes the pin back and it works just fine for me. The only problem I see where there’s a slower rof would be when you want to shoot faster than what’s even possible with one finger at least for most people
Thats why I said theoretical, I don’t know if it’s possible for a person to shoot fast enough with one finger for the spring pressure to make a difference. I do know that I can shoot much master with a stiffer trigger pull on my enmey
Yeah I didn’t mean that as concrete proof, we’re all just speculating here. I would like to see someone shoot too fast for the valve to keep up though. Trigger stiffness is really all up to opinion though at the end of the day.
Some people, like me, enjoy playing the game with more of a sense of pulling the trigger and sending the round to the target. In Surfing it's like Lomgboarders vs Shortboarders. Some like to Surf and some like to Shred. Matter of preference and mindset.
The two are functionally identical as you pull the trigger and a paintball flies out. However, the Etha2 is electronically controlled and the EMEK is all mechanical. Do you want the ability to step onto a speedball field and hold your own against tourney style players or just be able to shoot a whole bunch of paint? If so, then the Etha2 is for you. If you want to feel each shot, use your mind more than your Marker, and just enjoy playing more, then get the EMEK. Honestly, I would 100% say get the EMEK first and then get an Etha2.
@@glenj.taylor2938, ok thanks dude. I was just on the edge of what I should get. I would definitely be using a lot of paint if I got the etha 2. So the emek like u said is the way to go.
