Dude thanks for the update man! I love your videos there so cool and awesome you seem like a really cool guy. You've inspired me to want to get reptiles and make terrariums and stuff but my parents don't want me to😅
I enjoy watching ALL of your creations. And if I were an amphibian, reptile or the like, I would totally enjoy the space you'd made for me to live and thrive in. Even your terraniums look like something out of nature that was captured in glass. You have made me want to try to make a terranium with a water element added. Thank you so much for sharing. 😍♥️
While buying weights and dumbbells Employee: Working on your summer body sir? SerpaDesign: (hesitantly) uhhh yeah, *fitness fitness fitness muscles muscles muscles* Loved the setup btw 💯💯
I've found that after I trim down the edges on any work I do with foam, I take a heat gun to pretty much any surface and edge. Gives it a really natural and nice looking finish. It's really easy to overdue it but it turns out looking really nice.
Beautiful home you've made for them! I had firebelly toads about 10+ yrs ago. Their terrarium was actually pretty neat, however this... would have been the best! 💚
Thank you so much for doing this! I'm about to be in a place where I can create something like this and house... something. I haven't decided yet, but this has been so invaluable.
Very nice job I used to build high-end reef aquariums and had one at homebut it was constantly $250 a month in the winter to heat and pump and light the tank. It was beautiful but I don't have that kind of money anymore.
I just found you on youtube your videos are fascinating your attention to detail is meticulous. Your pets are very lucky they have you! The habitat you provide is beautiful and natural. I have a small tank I used for my Beta's I'm seriously reconsidering my setup before getting another fish. Thank you.
Truly amazing. This is a work of living art. Just one question though. Don't the filter you're using, have a filter cartridge that has to be changed every few months? How is that done without dismantling so much of the waterfall?
Just a note, there are some varieties of foam-safe CA glue that will not melt the foam (as long as you don't use any Zip-Kick to activate it). Yes, it will take a few seconds to set (between 5 and 30 or so), but your foam will not be damaged.
Had a very similar tank for my chahoua.... just took it apart and redoing it.... i miss the water part... i literally did the exact same thing as you 3 years ago... just don’t have the time to keep up with water portion anymore since i wont be home as much...
I used to own 2 fire bellies toads when I was about 9/10 and they were shared between me n my mam as she grew fond of them,at night they would make sounds and i don’t know.. kinda wanna buy some again they were fun pets
One question that I haven't seen anyone ask, is how do you change the filter opponents ? You didn't leave enough room to slide the filter out for biweekly/monthly changing. 11:48 and pause gives a good visual.
Hi this is amazing but I wondered how you clean it. Does water not get under the egg crate and if so how can you do water changes properly? Thank you 😊
Hi Tanner! This has been my favorite video of yours since I found your channel earlier this year! I'm working on a waterfall in a vertical enclosure I come back to this video frequently for reference. So i have a question, what brand is the black expanding foam and where did you get it? Everywhere I've been says they dont think it exists (which obviously it does lol). I want the black because I like that when its carved it looks like porous black rock. Which actually leads to my next question, could I leave exposed cut black foam touching the water features or will it eventually rot? Thanks Tanner you're amazing!
I have seen this video roughly about 25 times. I use it as inspiration for my first paludarium build that will be housing red eyed crocodile skinks once the plants fill in and everything is up to par. I very much wish you had them as well! Anyways, I have a couple questions but I'll keep it simple. Would it be beneficial to fill in the false bottom egg crate with matala or some other type of filtration sponge so there isn't just bare space in there prior to siliconing it to the floor? I feel like it could be beneficial but I don't have anyone to talk to who even knows what I am talking about. I do have a filter placed in the middle-back of the false bottom as it will be turned into a waterfall.
Hi Tanner, I have a question. How is it possible to get the silicone everywhere by using a paintbrush? When I tried it, all the silicone got stuck to the brush and nothing went anywhere else.
New to this art form and planning to build my first one of this. I am not able to visualize how the water from the front viewing areas is able to return to the pump to make its round. Seems to me like all the sides of the false bottom lattice are covered by the coco fiber (which I assume allows the water to get through and to the back where the pump is) but most of the sides seem to be covered with the expanding foam. What am I failing to see? Thanks in advance
Is the reason you use so many zip ties , for parts reusability ? Seems quite inefficient if this isn't the case surely gluing would be a better hold and seal ? Aslo why didn't you glue the slate on the waterfall ?
You should do commissioned work! Beautiful and very natural! I would buy one of your terrariums, you can make a whole business out of what you love!! Sure the toads love it!
I didn't like when he added in the toads, I think those animals deserve a bigger environment to live, with the bugs it's fine, but toads are too big for such a small habitat.
@@Sumdarkbusiness Lmfao, set your spawn location to "last location" then save it. Then spin the wheel if you see its not gonna land on what you want close the game before it tells you what you won in the bottom hand corner. Rinse and repeat my friend, if you get something you want simply walk out the casino and it'll definitely be saved. This is a simple exploit that messes with the games hard save mechanic. Enjoy
It's like watching an artist painting. At first you think "Well what a mess, that will never turn out great.". And at the end you're just like "Wow that's beautiful." You, Sir, are truly amazing at your craftsmanship.
