Oh man - I still can't believe how yummy that was! I was saying that I want to go back ASAP to get another. LOL - Let us know what you think when you get it.
Thank you so much, so glad to have you here!!! i can tell you yes - at least for te NYC location. We have seen in the past that things change throughout the season, however currently, in the NYC S&S location the booths open about ten minutes after the S&S opens. We love this location for that reason. You can try three different food booths and get a great drink from Finnegans too.
Absolutely! We were really impressed with the offerings we tried. Hoping everything holds this level of quality, its really fun to have so many yummy options.
I was so disappointed in the Left Behind Ravioli. It was chewy, bland and the bread was cold and spongy. Did not taste the garlic from the bread. The mushrooms were non existent in my can but I have to say, the line was pretty long when I ordered. I think they had several pre made cans- I may have gotten one that sat out for a while.
Oh no! I think the main challenge Universal has is with consistency. It definitely sounds like you got one that sat for a while, I always wonder how they can find a way to keep things fresh while also keeping the line moving. We didn't get as much mushroom as we hoped, or as was pictured in promos - but at least the ravioli was fresh and our toast was definitely garlic-y and added a nice pop to the dish. What else did you try, or like?
I loved the Walking Taco. So simple but it was delicious! The meat was seasoned just right and the Fritos were a nice touch. The Peanut Blooder Burger was a disappointment. The bread was dry and crumbly, the peanut sauce was very mild - which was probably a good thing. And I only had a spot of jelly. It could have have had more flavor but it was not what I hoped it would be. Ghoul Juice was a hit- I loved the tropical taste to it. Had just enough alcohol for a pre mixed drink!
@@foodiegal9923 I completely agree with you on the Walking taco... its kind of an easy hit, but it does have to be freshly made with that well seasoned meat and beans. It is really good and reliable. We have the Peanut Blooder on our list for Part 2 - Im hopeful it will be good, but burgers are notoriously hard to do in this type of format... seems a lot goes wrong with them.
You are very much in luck! They are available at one of the permanent food kiosks - during the season - You can get them at the Kiosk that sits in front of Jimmy Fallon and on that corner closest to the Tribute store. We really enjoy them too and will include them in our Part 2.
Lol. I can see why it read that way. We are not Chef Boyardee enthusiasts. But it seemed a global reference since it is in a can. Thanks for the feedback ❤️❤️
