I made this yesterday and it turned out really good! However, I recommend cooking it at 375°C instead of 350. (I cooked 30 min @350 and it wasn't looking cooked at all, so I baked 20 more minutes at 375)
PREHEAT oven to 180˚C fan, then grease all over and paper line the base of a 23cm (9") spring form paper. A 20cm (8”) could also work you may need to adjust the cooking time and bake it a little longer. Happy baking 👌🏻😊
It’s hard to say. I haven’t tried it. The apple keeps the batter moist. You could try it with grated apple so it’s not obvious and leave the apple off the top. Or try a few tablespoons of yoghurt, might help too.
