4mins in and the video is quite annoying, there are 2 purpose made stands for your cheap green screen at €25 and €55 bar mount and magnetic, holds you screen Vertical or horizontal, takes the space of one chair, and can be set up in 1 minute, it makes the pop up screen the most versatile and portable and if your going to do a video for beginners ,RU-vidrs, anybody needing a green screen, do your home work. You are making out that your pop up screen is clumsy and restricts where you can move it or set your computer which is not true at all and there is nothing worse than giving bad advice, better to give none at all.
Love this video! I also noticed how great your keying is. I use Premiere also for my green screen, but I'd love to know what settings you use in Ultra Key effect to make edges look so good!
@@MarkWattsVLG OH Thanks a lot man for your quick reply! I really appreciate it! I would have never guessed that you use premiere .. it looks so advanced! Well done! Really great amazing work! Keep it up! 😍😍🙏 & Have a great day!
I am just getting started myself and spending a lot of time researching. This is great info and pretty damn hilarious too! Well done and thanks for the info! Now I'm off to get a green screen or a giant cat that wears sunglasses...whichever is cheaper :)
You have great content, humor, nice quality, good editing and good reviews. Only point of critic is the ‘setup time’, you had to unlock the hinges, open the ‘door’ and stand out the feet, it wasn’t 3 seconds, probably around the same time as the other. Keep it up and will see you grow faster really soon my man!
nice video, would have liked to see someone messing with the lighting in the room while your was on camera to see how it effects the videos, lights on and off + mood lighting sorta thing. can bypass with rtx broadcast now but can be a bit glitchy at times
Have to say that the moving backgrounds were distracting and the fake blurred room was fine but seemed like there's so much natural light coming in that is not hitting you. You might want a use a less bright or open room image. xD
My elgato green screen is being delivered in the mail today and I can’t wait. My channel is taking off now and am getting requests that this will help with. Sorry for being late.
Great video comparison, thanks. I have a similar (but possibly worse) set up right now, and that's just a green screen cloth that I drape over some elevated dining room chairs. Looking at maybe getting the cheaper option here as the cloth creases and is so thin that lighting it evenly is difficult (light bleeds through from behind it too)
i used the green sheet of the bed well me wiff whent up the wall at me put it works so good not bad for £5 long as its green and dont tell wiff ur good to go
Excellent work! I was looking at precisely these two and was able to make a decision with your video. Have any of you used two of these Elgato screens side by side/offset from each other a few inches?
Not tried it but the base is wider than the screen so there would be a gap if they were side by side, offsetting them might interfere with the light distribution but if you've got a few decent lights it should be salvageable
Thank you (also metric and imperial would be nice for those of use watching in different places... it's not our fault that our government is still backward. LOL)
How well do webcams work for you when using shadow? Cause I plugged mine into my computer and it lags and freezes alot so it's impossible to set up a stream with it.
I picked up the Elgato one since it was on sale for black Friday, MUCH larger and longer than I expected which is nice, but my current configuration is way too cramped to use it to it's full potential, which will be resolved once I move into my own place and can setup a little studio, so far I've only used it with OBS and it does really well! great video! liked and subscribed.
Diolch yn fawr. I have been on a budget, but after my last video, I am definitely investing in some basic equipment. And yours is a good video to get a basic idea of what I am looking at.
Looked like it from the box as well. Also the material and color is too reflective. It literally spilled on the FRONT of his face. For live streaming it's efficient. For videography a nightmare
this is something ive been wondering feel id need get the more expensive one because of the same issue as you face , there be no support behind me for the cheap one , thanks dude :) whats your twitch ??
Three or four small hooks in the ceiling. A green shower curtain from the dollar store. Done. It's cheap, huge, and can be installed anywhere in any room. When you're done, roll it up and put it away.
I'm struggling on a purchase for a green screen, but like you, I have nothing to prop up a flimsy one. My channel is new, and I have to have it. Thx for this video to help me understand what I'm getting into.
What a day to be alive aye!! I literally just got my channel back today after a year and a half due to some rubbish person falsely copyright striking me now i have lost views subs and boy i was on a roll. Ahh well. But i am happy because i stumbled onto your page and have been enjoying myself. In your 1000 sub special you said things i can relate to it was tear jerking and i am so happy for you. Im also ordering one of those stream boxes but i want to ask you some question about it beforw hand. Oh yh just to let you know you can change your youtube name at any time. Just go to your google profile and click on your name and it should give you the option to change it. Thank me later. Anyway great work maybe we can network once i start to pic up momentum again.
Any colour, you can also have blue screens but that bright green colour isnt a common colour you have to worry about keying out by accident like someone's shirt
Oh Matt that was hilarious and just what I needed! I bought a GS for about 50 bucks but it's pretty crappy! Very transparent and I still have a hair halo! The Elgato looks like what I need as space is an issue! Thanks so much. Liking and subscribing!
Is chroma key paint expensive? The appartment I'm renting has a greenish color paint on it already, when I took a picture I could replace the background very similarly to a green screen. However, when I did the same with video I got a bit of a hazy look, especially if the image I replaced the green with was not bright. I imagine this is due to lighting??? Thanks for the video!
The reason bright green or bright blue is used for Chroma Key is it's easier for software to differentiate between than and any other colours in your video. If you're renting i'd maybe look at rolls of chroma key paper you can hang!
Hi -I'm glad I found you, Mark! Awesome video and instructive video!! Question - Will the Elgato screen be sufficient for my webcam's widescreen 100 degree field of view? ... and, if not, any recommendations? Thanks!!
Hello. Excellent video. I’ve recently bought a similar green screen from Amazon but mine has the blue as well as green side when flipped round. The only slight stipulation is there’s no way of co erring the floor and I’m slightly tall. Are there a way round these small issues? It’s excellent how it’s portable and able to fold away in a bag.
