"Chain Hole" (trap card) is literally made to stop Dragoon. I found it a while back and held on to it cuz I knew I would need it when Dragoon got released but was pleasantly surprised to see it reprinted in the MP20 which has Dragoon in it so that confirms my initial theory and I hope other people figured it out by now too
That IS the perfect background for Ultimate Conductor Tyranno. Nice job! Timelords keep killing my opponents with Red-Eyes Dark Dragoon. 4000 ATK Sandion normal summon, Raphion can give burn damage after making Dragoon stronger for +4000 damage. My angels don't let me down.
I love playing with timelords, this guy was playing timelords and beat my Dragoon deck Dude he normal summon 1 time Lord and then use a spell to special summon the next and then go into this Rank10XYZ monster and then into another by adding materials and then did it again! So he had a Rank12XYZ with like 4 materials I got my butt kicked lol
He made the 2 timelords into number 35 a rank 10XYZ Then transfered materials into number 84 a rank 11XYZ Then transfered materials into Number 77 a rank 12xyz ! I just looked up the screenshots I had for this it was a Krazy combo! 😭😭😭😭
My people! I have never met other Timelord players! This is awesome! Summoning Curse an be helpful, and better yet if I use Kaijus to get rid of opponents' monsters and trigger Summoming Curse.
Ultimate Conductor Tyranno is the best monster card. It’s basically negate most monster effect by flipping them face down. Then it burns them for 1000 damage by selecting which card it want to send to the graveyard by attacking them without making contact or flipping them. Just like any other Yugioh card, to use it effectively, you’ll have to bait your opponent or be ready to counter any negate they can do.
You can bait the negate and use Called By The Grave on Red Eyes Black Dragon, since Dragoon’s name becomes Red-Eyes Black Dragon on the field thanks to Red-Eyes Fusion’s effect. Afterwards, just combo and beat over it, or target and destroy it.
Aside from Kaijus (and this may not be even close to meta) but Shinobird Baron can just bounce it back to the extra deck without targeting, so long as you can bait out the negate and summon it successfully.
Dude, super poly, kaijus, ra sphere mode, lava golem, triple tactics talent, evenly matched, dingersu and longersu, dark ruler no more, forbidden droplets, every mirror force that doesn't destroy, ash ash solemn strick to negate fusion or preda, dimensional barrier, monsters with higher attack, bro their are soooo many ways to out dragoon, I know, I'm a solid red-eyes player. Really ain't rocket science.

Or wait for the bricky unsearchable eye of timaeus for a single pop.everyone wins.
@@vincentcolon7216sigh I know, but there's how I personally see it, if konami gave a decent and consistent red-eyes engine like how they keep whoring blue-eyes n dark magician forgetting it's a trifecta of fandoms n not only a duo, dragoon would have no reason to exist. So while it's out n about I'm gonna abuse the fuck out of his power. We still don't have a red-eyes poper red eyes ritual (like chaos max) we still don't have a red-eyes sychro or red eyes tuner we got a shit link and no real consistency support, wtf is even Gemini n why choose red-eyes to experiment with that shinnagan?? It's like they keep tryna make blue eyes the best it can be but all red-eyes cards to be sub par with very few good cards. Fuck it, dragoon is the best thing we ever got!

There are tons of cards that are pretty good to prevent dragoon or out him in your turn, especially with ROTD we have 3 forbidden droplets, 3 tactical talents. We still have 1 mind control. But it's still a problematic card. It is so easy to summon him. Linking away two monsters is nothing special at all and then you can shoot 2 monsters, inflict a ton of damage, you have a great negate card and even built-in protection against targeting and destruction AND still a 3k or 4k monster. The deal is just too good and its splashibility is terrifying. OCG banned him, TCG might follow suit pretty soon.

when you mentioned that Red-Eyes Dark Dragoon can burn 2K + 3K + swing for 3K makes me wonder why Konami even bothered to errata Dark Strike Fighter when card just like it does the nearly same thing.
Hey I didn't know Night Dragolich but I did know his brother : Al-Lumi'raj No it is NOT a Salamangreat monster, it's a worm ! A wyrm* Anyway, my favorite tech has to be Super Poly since your opponent does the set-up for you and cannot respond. Anaconda + Dragoon = Predaplant Dragostapelia that can beat other negations that the opponent might have. Also, little tip with Droplets : -Activate any card -Dragoon negates -Chain Droplet, send said card and negate Dragoon --> weak useless Dragoon and you can resolve your first card. That's all I've got for today ! ✌️
Blue Eyes Chaos Dragon effect doesn't target and you can drop the monsters atk/def to zero & change their battle position, as long as you bait Dragoons effect to protect your other cards you'll be fine other than that Blue Eyes Chaos Dragon can't be targeted.
I think the best out to Dragoon, as well as Tyranno, Runick monsters, Crooked Cook, and anything of that regard is actually Buster Blader. Mixing the Dragon Destroyer Swordsman with Buster Dragon or DNA Surgery just says "No" to monster effects entirely. And on top of that, allows for piercing battle damage.
Just got into YGO two months ago. Went to locals with a toon deck (bc I didn’t know any better). Played two different people with dragoon & basically just made this face: 🙃 Currently play a magicians/dragoon deck since I’m more interested in casual play & love it. Thought this was a great video to learn it’s weaknesses. Thanks!
The only time I've found Dragoon to be absolutely busted is when the opponent uses Necro Fusion (and Trap Trick to tutor out Necro Fusion) to bring out a 2nd copy after DRNM, etc resolves. That gets really, really obnoxious, lol.
My main competitive deck is "Access Savage Wing Dragoon" But it's almost 60 cards.. Also when I do the buster lock I don't do the extra deck I do graveyard. I remember people saying that rank4XYZ water monster that shut off GY was good but I never used it cuz it had no attack power. The graveyard buster lock is better cuz it's safe in the backrow. Superpoly ,dark ruler, forgotten droplet, doomking, mm a lot cards out dragun. If anything this card makes it easy predicting players deck. It’s op but not invincible.
@noponwisdom t Just bait out the neg and make borrelsword, attack dragun and borrel effect will half its ATK and you gain that much with BSword. And you can use borrelst 2nd effect to put an atk pos monster to def for an another attack. If your opponent has only Dragoon, then the first atk is 3000lp, the second is 5000.
From what I read when you posted the effect. It can only negate the effects during the main phase, so that means it effects should be able to go off during the battle phase and end phase. Not sure of this, so I'd like to be corrected if wrong by anyone. That was just how I understood it. lol

I think I found another way. theres this card called "Red Reign" it doesn't target red eyes dark Dragoon specifically as red reign is a field effect. "Red reign" it doesn't destroy it but it does Banish red eyes dark Dragoon and other monsters. maybe I'm wrong. I haven't played the game in a while but some criticism would be helpful.
You can use dimension shifter if your opponent goes first with that stupid snake and you can use chaos sceptor blast if you're playing lvl 8 spellcasters to non target banish it , you can use skill drain, and shadow-imprisoning mirror (just some ideas that I use)
The problem with this card (as of writing) is in the TCG, it is unlimited, any deck can loop multiple onto the field very easily and taking it out, in the graveyard it become material for the next one. It badly needs to be limited to one copy.... it will probably get banned instead, because every other meta is, but.
I feel like Borrelsword could also work? Your opponent can't respond to its effect activation to change to Defense, and then you just swing over Dragoon AND gain its attack. Shaddoll Schism is a non-targeting banish effect as well if you manage to bait out the Dragoon negate at another point, or you could just go into Winda and prevent the special summons required for it to hit the field. I suppose you could also force your opponent to activate Dragoon effect and then chain Millennium-Eyes Restrict to scoop it up, but they'd really have to fall for something at that point!

Ounimaru can beat this punk, if its synchro summoned using just synchro monsters, plus Ounimaru can't be destroyed by card effects making it a great counter as it too has 3000 base attack
Cail i have a couple questions i feel you could answer for me. Me and my friends play alot of banned cards mixed with new for fun play and one of my firends runs dragoon and will defend to the highest point whatever you do dosen't work on dragoon. So with that said does Fiber jar. chaos Emperor dragon. Or Ragaki work on dragoon also i run dinos and he says my ultimate conductor tyrano doesn't work on him either so i guess im just confused. If anyone could help me with this it be much appreciated
none of dragoons effects Target, so even with lost world on the field and a jureg token on ur side of the field, you can negate Ultimate Conductor Tyranno effect to send Dragoon face down, destroy Ultimate Conductor Tyranno an Dragoon will gain 1000 atk haha
How to beat Dragoon: Step 1: laugh at you opponent for opening DM or REBD. Step 2: Set up your board. Step 3: Win. Step 4: Your opponent removes the bricky Dragoon engine from their deck once they're tired of drawing bricks.
Generaiders are very good against this card and playing it. When it comes to going against it you can stop the negation with the continuous trap and banish it with utgarda. When it comes to playing it, if the deck draws the fusion spell it is not a big deal because all of their summoning is during the opponent's turn and a good generaider deck is already running cards that help with bricks.

People play melt down just so the red eyes fusion can’t be negated but of course u can always use gama irk and be done with the duel reason being that numeron OTK main deck kaijus to tribute problematic monsters and OTK
Someone pls, If anaconda sends red-eyes fusion as cost, after that, it's supposed to send red eyes and dark magician from the deck to the GY, so why can't I ash it?
I love how there are a lot of people who dislike the Dark magician and dark magician decks yet now everyone and their grandmothers are using him, ban wagon cucks. Original dm players finally get a card we deserve and everyone else jumps on it.
its not that good by itself. it needs support around it. against decks that cant handle 1 negate its amazing. but u dont just summon dragoon and pass (Dragoon Pass =Firewall Pass 2.0 lol) but alot of ppl will cuz its "best card in game" id Winter Cherries it after they summon Anaconda
