Not at all! I love crossing paths and chatting with cruisers on the ship. But no, I don’t go on a cruise looking for others to have a good cruise. I love the freedom of having no agenda and sometimes, not talking. 😊
Great information. I solo and meet lots of people, but do not care if they are couples or solo. You have discovered what I have also. Shop around a lot and observe the details. Sometimes you luck into great values.
Yes, definitely shop around and don't worry about "no single supplement" or "double occupancy." Those are gimmicky terms to me. Thank you so much for watching and commenting, Joel!

Have you ever gotten sick on a cruise? My friend just got off a carnival ship and her whole family got Covid last week while on the ship. Freaks me out
I remember when I first started solo cruising, a week or so after a cruise I got a cold. Then I started being more careful about disinfecting my cabin and watching what I touch along with washing my hands more often. I haven't gotten even a cold after a cruise since then. I'm definitely not saying that anyone who does this will not ever get sick. But I feel the same about cruising as I do going to restaurants, ball games, theaters, etc.
