Throughout the tutorial, we'll craft three distinctive presets:
Autumn: Transforming greens into warm oranges using Channel Mixer and Color Balance adjustments.
Urban Blue: Achieving a unique aesthetic by desaturating colors except skin tones and reds, and applying a matte black and blue/yellow color grade with Hue/Saturation, Curves, and Gradient Map adjustments.
Schindler’s List: Creating a cinematic look with desaturated colors, except red, paired with a captivating blue color grade using Hue/Saturation and Color Balance adjustments.
Additionally, we'll explore how to convert curve presets into adjustment presets, providing you with a previewing advantage.
However, it's crucial to understand the limitations of the tool, which include:
• Inability to save the adjustment layers: solid, gradients, and patterns.
• Exclusion of masks in presets, meaning masks are not saved.
• Adjustment layer names aren't preserved in presets.
• "Blend if" settings are not saved.
Remember, while these limitations exist, your blending mode, opacity, and fill settings ARE preserved with your preset, ensuring flexibility and efficiency in your editing workflow.
