📍 Kyrgyzstan:

• Jyrgalan Valley
• Eagle Hunting
• Song Kul (Lake)
Travel Tips:
• We traveled with a private itinerary, allowing us to go at our own pace and enjoy unique activities like hiking during several stops. We used MIR Corp, and they were great. www.mircorp.com/ Mention this channel, Thriving Gracefully, or me, Kathy Thibodeaux, and receive a special gift from Mir if you book a custom trip. I will receive a small referral fee.
• Consider a group or all-woman tour or a hiking tour for a different experience.
• Stay in local accommodations for an authentic experience.
• Vaccinations and medications: Check the guidance on the CDC website, and consult a travel medicine clinic to obtain necessary shots well in advance. As for any visit to a non-western developing country, be prepared with an over-the-counter anti-diarrheal medication and an antibiotic to address gastrointestinal difficulties, which are common.
• Visas as of 2024: You must obtain a visa well in advance for Uzbekistan. No visa is needed for tourist stays in Kazakhstan or Kyrgyzstan.

Hi Susan, thank you very much for watching my video and for your correction. I don't know why I chose to pronounce it the way I did, as in the past I have certainly heard and said it the way you did. If you are a woman over 50, I hope you'll take a look at the other videos on my channel. I am just getting started and welcome suggested video topics, comments, and new subscribers. All the best to you.
